I read my bible and know that JESUS IS GOD.
You speak to the Holy Spirit (and I guess Others don't) and the Holy Spirit has told you that JESUS is NOT GOD.

If you can make that to be saying that Jesus is NOT God...then you need to see a doctor!! Quickly!!

I'm not aware of putting it that way, but I did say He went into the realm of the dead, where He took the sins of the world. Is that what you mean?
Of course He was alive, I don't know which post you are referring to, please can you let me know?

I am glad you are comfortable in your relationship with God. Much of the time I am as well. The exceptions are when I recognize that I have quenched the Spirit.

Yes, I have read the 119th Psalm probably dozens of times over the years. That alone however would not make me special. I just hope that I come up what Apostle Paul describes as "reasonable service".

I never said it would make you special. But it does show that you and the Psalmist are not in agreement with the Word of God.

You mean human/ mortal .....you didn't mean that Jesus was not "alive", but to some may have read it that way. :) LOL

Ohh, now I get it, hadn't thought anyone quite that dense, I thought I was the one being dense haha. Thanks for that. How could someone think that was between the resurrection and the ascension in the 1980's ?????

Perhaps you should go back and read his posts.

I'd like to add this:

It has been my experience that those who are taught by the Holy Spirit are the meanest persons on a board.

Others are Always much nicer.

If the bible didn't tell you, HOW would you know?
HOW would you know about Jesus?
How would you know that He died for our sins?
How would you know that He was resurrected on the third day?
How would you know anything, exept, maybe, that God exists - just by looking around you.

Every Church is reading the same bible.
How come we have such different ideas?
It's bad enough now, what if we EACH started believing something different?

So everything the disciples wrote we are to ignore because they experienced it, is that right? I have so far invited people on this forum to show me anywhere, where what I have reported Jesus as saying to me, is NOT in the Bible ( apart from not baptizing babies ). Mind you I didn't know it was in the Bible, until 6 years after my first encounter with Him, when I started out at a fellowship for the very first time. They showed me all the places which supported what He told me, so that was when I got a Bible.
I have also stated many times, that people who can't see me or who do not know me, can't possibly just take my word for it, but do search the scriptures and see for yourself.........Can you find anywhere where I have posted anything, you can't confirm through the Bible?....I just prefer doing it the other way around. To me HE is the final word on a matter, not the Bible....Just so we are clear....I love my Bible and it gives me great comfort at times, but again.......reading ABOUT Him pales in comparison to Him explaining something, as He has such a clear way of doing so, very easy to understand Him.
I have met people who have pretended to have had words from Jesus Himself, but it doesn't take long to separate those who are pretenders from those who have, as those who have, will have the SAME Word on a particular matter.
Paul writes about revelation from above, are you saying you don't believe in that?
weather here has been windy and wet for a couple of months now, but this morning as I watched the sun come up, it was clear it is going to be a stunning day with lovely blue skies.
How can experience NOT lead to KNOWING something ? Wonder how scientists ever came to any knowledge then?????
Believe me I also studied myself blue in the face when I first got a Bible, but I also noticed that it made me not seek Him so much, so I stopped doing it like that, but I still read it a lot.
I was atheist, who upon leaving my physical body ended up in a pitch black void, and He saved me from that, and then He turned up in my locked room and by this MADE me believe both in Him but I had to conceded that God was/is also real then..........who else but Jesus would do that? I don't doubt who He is, but many others do seem to.
Do you believe in being taught by the Holy Spirit?

I don't have the exact post, but I'm sure you stated that Jesus could not have been declared the Son of God until He was proven to be sinless, as an adult, I think you also said, at His baptism. As far as I can tell, you did not provide any Scriptures for saying He was not the eternal Son of God at His birth. This verse from Acts 13 seems to refute your statement:
33. "God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm:

‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.’"

This is why some on these forums, including me, do not believe they have unity of the Spirit with you. You have a personal Jesus as "the final word on a matter, not the Bible..."

Is there more than ONE Holy Spirit?

Also, I'd like to now why those lead by the Holy Spirit and not the bible are the most persons on these boards lacking understanding, compassion and a fellowshipping spirit.
Could it be because they feel superior to the Others?

GINOLJC, to all. GG, first thank for the response. second, I'm not going to sit here and lie to you saying I know "EVERYTHING" in the OT. no I don't. but what God have revealed unto me that I will speak and nothing more.

on the subject, "the sons of God and the daughters of man". I'm taking it, that you're referring to Genesis 6. if so, the sons of God here are speaking of humans, who linage is from the unfallen Adamic offspring of Adam and Eve, the children they had before the fall into sin. and the daughter are the unregenerate, or the fallen lineage of Adam and Eve, children they had outside of the Garden, born into sin. see, GG, there are two lines from Adam and Eve. before the fall, and after. these children who was born without sin are called the sons of God as we're today, meaning having the Spirit of God, or regenerated, hence the term (Born again). that's why God said in Genesis 6:3 "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years". you see GG, the Spirit was with man, nothing new under the sun. now to prove my point about the Adams having children in the Garden before they fell into sin I suggest you read Genesis 3:16 and ask the Lord to reveal Genesis 3:20 also to you.

Now simply put Sons of God are generated people, or followers of God. and daughter of men are ungenerated people who don't follow God. putting it into today's language, a Christian marrying a none Christian. understand GG, the term sons of God and daughters of men are only metaphors for the save and the unsaved, those who have the Spirit of God, and those who don't.
