My God,

My God sits in Heaven upon His throne, He is so vast that no number of books could ever be written to contain His wisdom and Knowledege. My God looks down from heaven upon the earth, and watches man doing all the foolish things He does. But He sits with a big grin on His face because He know that soon it will all end, and everything will be just as He has determined from the beginning of time. My God sent Jesus, He sent Him as a sacrifice for our sins, so that we who do not deserve it will be redeemed back to God. Now Jesus is with all men, there is not one man who walks this earth who does not have Jesus, He speaks to all, just in the hope that one would listen but so few do and so they walk with their backs turned to Him.
So He sent us the Holy Spirit.
All who receive Him are Given the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us into all the truth. Jesus sends Him to one to show Him a word, He sends Him to another to give Him revelation, He Sends Him to another to reveal Jesus. But as always, He returns and says. I went to this man to give Him your word and He received it than He looked it up in the bible and it disagreed with what he believed so He rejected it, I went to another to Give Him your Word, and He received it with gladness, and ran to his pastor and told Him, but His pastor said it wasn’t God, so He rejected your word too. I went to another to tell Him of you but He rejected me because he says God doesn’t speak to man anymore, how long Lord, must this be. And Jesus with sadness says. " I know it has being like this for so long, but soon the veil will be lifted and all will see".

Yes, God is always seeing us, my friend. He is always trying to get a person to change his way to His Way or at least to improve things a little bit. But... time is limited for all of us. When our course is finished, it is finished no matter we happen to be in that particular moment.

Paul said these things using scripture and about scripture:

Rom_4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Rom_9:17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
Rom_10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Rom_11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
Gal_3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Gal_3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Gal_4:30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
1Ti_5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

and especially this one you say otherwise: I went to this man to give Him your word and He received it than He looked it up in the bible and it disagreed with what he believed so He rejected it

2Ti_3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

how is it you know more than Paul knows about the God of Israel?

I though you one of those who seeks a god of your own understanding. The God that is attested of in the Bible doesn't contradict the Bible because it is about that very God, the God of Israel in the name of Jesus Christ. if what you think you know doesn't check out with that same documentation then maybe you should reexamine just what you are believing. if you seek to know the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.

Abd here you have just raised the bible above God Himself. it is the bible that must agree with God not God that must agree with the bible, who created who???

Tell me which of these 2 stories is teh correct one.

Mat 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

Mar 5:1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
Mar 5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

Is God the author of confusion.

Than you can go tell me which of the resurrection stories is correct who was first, and who told whom??

All tha tlearning to find

I am the way the truth and the Life says the Lord, no man shall enter into heaven but by me.

I am the way the truth and the Life says the Lord, no man shall enter into heaven but by me.

(Psalms 138:2) "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for they truth: for thou hast magnified they word above all thy name."

So, because you find 'apparent' contradictions in the Bible, you choose to devalue it as not God's Word? Apparent contradictions in the Bible are opportunities to learn some truth that God is giving. Just because you or I don't have all the answers doesn't take away from the Bible as the Word of God.

Because you find apparent contradictions in the Bible you choose to place emphasis on a 'spiritual' revelation from Jesus Christ to you, of which only you are the interpreter. Because you don't have all the answers then the Bible must not be trusted. Ridiculous.

And by the way, Where in (Mark 5:1-2) does it say there were not two that came out to meet them? It doesn't. Two did come out as Matthew says. Mark was focusing on one. There is no contradiction here. Just unbelief.

And which of the resurrection stories do I believe? All of them in the Gospels.

Lets see waht teh bible says

Mat 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

It says 2 men not 1 man. Please take note.

Mar 5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
Mar 5:3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
Mar 5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
Mar 5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
Mar 5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
Mar 5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
Mar 5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

Cleary says one and only one man. So seems someone got it wrong ehhhhh. Certainly not God.

Now if you cannot ket go of this Idol do you really think you can convince BOL to let go of teh Idol he has become a part of.

1Co_6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

Now you may understand why you cant argue with him.

Do the next one tomorrow just for you.

(Mark 5:2) does not say 'only'. It says 'a man'. There is no contradiction.

You can count. You're just not paying attention.

(Mark) never says there was not two men. He says there was a man. He is addressing one man. That doesn't mean there were not two men. It means he only is addressing one man.

The Holy Spirit in the Gospels is not trying to give a history of Jesus according to what each writer can remember. He is choosing certain events out of the record of Christ's life here on earth to emphasis a certain aspect of Jesus Christ and His ministry.

Now go ahead and find another contradiction for me. There are several I have no answer to. That way you will feel good in your unbelief in the Bible. But though I cannot answer all apparent contradictions, it doesn't cause unbelief in me concerning the Bible. It is just something God has not showed me yet.

What you are doing is ignoring teh other account simp0ly because it doesnt fit.

at 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
Mat 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Mat 8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

Never heard this account preached in church, I wonder why????

See bible is filled with contradiction because these are recorded accounts written by men. There is a reason why it says

1Jn_5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

After all that studying and learning, what are you going to say, when you stand before Him, and you look at your life and realise that you are a stranger to Him, because you wouldnt give Him teh time of day.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Still i will do teh next bit just for you.

I did not ignore either account in (Mark) or (Matthew). Mark never said there were not two. But he only addressed one. Luke also does the same in (Luke 8:27). And just as with Mark, he does not say there were two. But he only addresses one.

You assume too much concerning ones salvation or lack of it.

ok but i would keep an open mind there, because the two accounts tell two stories about one "possessed guy" making two different choices, if you can see it. "The two that are one" is a common, repeating theme in the Book, and the contradiction occurs from a logical interpretation, not an error ok.

The double-minded choice (swine, "feeding") sends you over a cliff, while the single-minded choice heals you, all wrapped up in two stories that Greeks can have endless arguments over lol

Were not these three inspired by the Holy Spirit to write?

It's YOUR point Stranger!
Not mine -- I was just trying to support your idea.

Each writer had their own reason for writing.
Each one saw things a little differently.

They did not huddle in a room and conspire to write.
Each one wrote what HE felt to be important.

Then why do you continue to quote from it? If the book can't be trusted, why use it as a source of information at all? You should practice what you preach for once and stop using it. Tap into that holy spirit you claim to have and speak the truth in your own words. I would respect you a lot more as a 'believer'. :)
