I mean, how could you test what created you?

Faith is a belief in what you have not seen.... not what you cannot see. Faith in God is a belief in the ability to effect the promises he has given not in the fact of his existence.

Further, if we are the image of God and you hold a belief that he cannot be tested then neither could we be tested.

Can we do better than that? Well we can go back to tempting God or testing Him thoroughly, but also remembering Jesus' admonition in Matt 4:7

There seem to be a lot of scientists who work hard to beef up technology so they can make more money. On the other hand how pure scientists are there who are really interested in discovering truth? Probably not very many.

As to measuring God, is that not what any believer is doing when he is working with and growing with and in God? Is there any other way to come to know God well than through Jesus? Will the very best of scientific tests with the best methods available sparing no expense bring anyone to God?

Your physical structure that was formed in the beginning would not be considered representative of Gods form since it is a construct and the body or temple as it is referred to in scripture is simply meant to be a dwelling place for God.
However, and pay close attention here "God did not create the life of mankind from nothing nor from existing matter"

Gen 2:7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.

All life came directly from the Father. Even now Christ is;
1 Cor 15:45..... a life-giving spirit.

Life is not created.... it is given. So, our spirit / life force was a part of God before he gave it to form a separate being. This is why we are not only images of God in a basic form but we are also called gods according to scripture;
John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

God does interesting and unpredictable things. You just got to be watchful.

I don't think there's anything super natural, it's super natural because we have no natural explanation.

imagine bringing some people from lets say medieval times to the present.... and flicking a light switch.... we would be super natural to them... and then we would be considered witches and they would try to burn us at the stake.
