Have you ever thought what God is made up of. Like we know what chemicals water is made up of, what then is God made up of.

Love?

Then what is the composition of love?

Love is the outpouring of a creative spirit doing what it does. God makes and sustains his creation.

As for what is God made of, since God is Spirit his build is beyond my understanding. I can barely understand my own construction, and even the best surgons have incomplete understanding of the human body.

Are you asking What Is Love?
I'll start:

Love is doing for someone and expecting nothing in return.

This is human.
I doubt we could understand God.
I agree with lforrest.

I think love is an adjective, describing God in a way.
I can't help but think there is more to God than love.

example;
The car is red.
God is love.

There is more to the car than just being red.
Red is the only thing we can see.
If we never look into the car, our knowledge of the car is limited to being red.

God gives us what we need to know.
Someday we will no longer see in part, but God will show us the whole picture.

I believe Love as it pertains to God is and can only be God-defined. That is to say that we only understand it partially as God reveals it in and through us. Our personal revelations about what love is or what Gods chemical composition (as if) is will likely not be accepted by another that hasn't experienced the same revelation. Scripture is mostly silent about these things telling us only that God is a Spirit. Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit...And God is love. 1Jn 4:8 ..... for God is love.

Right.
We know that God is more than love.
It's interesting that we all probably have a different definition of what love is.

But whatever we could come up with, I'm more than sure it will NOT hit the mark.

God did make us in His image, however.
HE is love.
And He made us to have love in us.

...and I should add what that means to me. God is Life, Hope, and Truth.

And I borrowed this from another but felt in my bones that this is how I would describe my God as well.

I doubt we could "God-define" HIS love!
Whatever we come up with will only be "through a glass darkly".

It's good to ponder...

Actually God is spirit;
John 4:23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Love is a description of how the spirit chooses to interact.
Mankind was made in the image of God and thus is a spirit.

So what is the composition of your spirit?

Don't know, that's why I asked.

He is made up of something right? Will he allow us to take samples back to the lab.

Can he be tested (Scientifically)

Not really, just some people say God is "love" or "Spirit" or the spirit is love.

But what chemicals make up God.

If I had to guess, they would be chemicals that have no decay rate.

By the world's standards

The car is love
God is very red

Don't know, that's why I asked.

ok.
From what I can rationalize based solely on physics and the biblical account
1) light was a result of Gods interaction with matter in Genesis
2) when the structure of the atom was broken apart it released a huge amount of energy (atom bomb)
3) Scientists believe energy cannot be created or destroyed and would thus be eternal.
4) your body is actually a machine made of earthly materials but it requires electrical energy in order to function and as soon as your electrical energy ceases then you cease to exist.

So based on a very limited understanding of all that exists it would be energy of some form.

LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!!

Ah.

I believe God is a creator.
New chemicals all the time.
Or chemicals that are able to create new chemicals by being mixed together.

NO!

That's why we need faith.
If God could be tested it would be the end of the world.
I mean, how could you test what created you?

"Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. " Matt 4:7
[test thoroughly: - tempt.]

I would go back to what "breathofdesire" said: Love or as the KJV has it: Charity

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things." I Cor 13:4-7

Can we do better than that? Well we can go back to tempting God or testing Him thoroughly, but also remembering Jesus' admonition in Matt 4:7
