You STILL haven't explained why you continue to quote the Canon of Scripture that was declared by the Catholic Church.

I totally agree...many people “ defend” what they believe ...and feel like they are doing God some kind of favour ...
I was taught many years ago.- “Believe the “ light” that God has given you.
Always be prepared for fresh light to be shone or something new, and also, whatever you believe is true..HOLD it LIGHTLY...because it may be ‘good ‘ but it may not be the whole truth...so stay teachable”

I have lived by that rule for many a year.
I feel sorry for those who are dogmatic. We have not seen the revelation of ALL truth yet.

Just jumping in to defend the APOSTLES nothing else, lets hope you do not fall asleep concerning Christ. They are Apostles=teachers of the will of Christ because Christ mad them as such and teach what the Holy Spirit tells them to teach. I am not going to get into all the technical wording that Catholics like to spew, but Peter is the rock , if one stands on his words they will do so to great avail. Much more respect should be shown to YOUR ELDERS =Apostles whose lessons are shown us to guide us. Peter is the rock because he fell to such a depth that no other apostle would have survived (Denial of our Lord) and he recovered because he grabbed hold of his faith in Christ and would not let that sin carry him off like Judas. He is an example in strength and overcoming fear of Death, which is what caused him to deny Christ to begin with. He is the ROCK for this reason and he who stands upon him will not doubt Christ anymore! God Bless!

Adding more: Your verse of choice, "Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together." Matthew24:28. Catholics think because , Peter was crucified in Babylon, and is buried under the Vatican - the RCC is somehow built upon the ROCK. Being built upon the "ROCK" does not mean that- it means to rely and believe in St. Peters Words and experiences and you will stand firm upon Faith, which obviously its foundation was laid down by Christ! STAND FIRM ON THE ROCK. If all the Popes had done that, a lot heresies would have been avoided. And today the Pope could renege on false statements which deny Christ, that he-Pope Francis has made and make true his Role! God Bless!

What does APOSTLE MEAN? And who are the first, they are the only true teachers appointed by the WORD? Do they speak from the Holy Spirit or something else? Obviously Christ is the VINE, that is not in dispute. However, your disrespect is! It is that which I am pointing out! Do not put on AIRS concerning the Apostles, they who labored tirelessly to bring you EVERYTHING YOU KNOW OF CHRIST! Without them being the first, we would not know our Lord.
