Running to and running from< if I understand correctly. Maybe I am not getting your OP, But we as believer's should run from Evil, and run to the one we know that will show us the right way!

Not always easy I have found...At times my brain/mouth ratio is too short, and by the time I think 'No' to something I have already thought it or said it...Actions are a tad easier to catch in time, thankfully
ME too. sometimes being human is a big let down, than God He is faithful to His creation.

Hello Frank....Those photos, are the temptations mentioned their shoes and handbags ? I mean, even a very nice banana in my fruit bowl is a temptation, as ell as a couple of toffees I have in my cupboard.......We are literally surrounded by temptations, but I feel that as long as the temptations doesn't cause any problems for someone else, we should be fairly safe.....We need constant help with our thought life, that is for sure....:)
We know which are evil by His spirit. If it is not evil then there is no temptation.
As Paul said if anyone esteem a thing to be evil to him it is evil. I saw a man a Christian African pastor that was convinced that basketball was evil.
As for me the Bible tells me what is evil. The spirit of God tells me. Tells you if so be the Holy Spirit of God has filled you.
1 John 2:27 KJVS
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
We do not walk in the dark. We carry our light with us.
