Greetings, everyone, in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I've recently become a member here at Christianity Board, and was sharing with some other charismatic members here how I move in the gift of dream interpretation. I wanted to open a thread for anyone who believes they might have received a dream or vision sent to them by God, and are curious to know what it means.

To those who dismiss dreams as not worthy of being taken seriously, scripture very clearly proves otherwise. Dreams and visions play very important roles in both the Old and New Testaments. I am humble with my gift, and simply present to people what I feel the proper interpretation is, and leave it at that. Most dreams explain themselves internally, such that I do not need to ask any questions. However, whenever this is not the case, I may ask questions to establish the context behind the symbolism being presented.

Should anyone prefer to send me something in private, please feel free to. That is fine as well.

Blessings in Christ Jesus,
Hidden In Him

So I will just bring these in from the other thread.

1st dream of North Korea

I was in a building, full of North Koreans, it then started flooding in the building, it was like a ship sinking underwater but it was dry on the outside of this building, I escaped and someone else did by jumping out of a cracked window, everyone else drowned, then I saw a lady, she was fleeing from the building, she was flying, she kept flying and flying away, flapping her arms as hard as she could, then she wore out and was nearly just gliding, she made it over a few trees, and then suddenly convulsed and fell a long way down a sewer pipe and landed in between a large drain grate.

2nd dream of North Korea

Kim Jong Un all of sudden started shooting down his own shrine with small missiles and then after I saw this I was telling my parents and comparing it to the madness of Nebuchadnezzar.

----------------------------

I have been praying for North Korea over the past year or 2, and so have many others, especially South of the border in South Korea, I read something the other week how Churches South of the border were praying for them.

I believe as Christians when it comes to Nations like North Korea and Iran, our attitude in prayer should not be "nuke them" or let's go to war with them. I believe that is not the right way we Christians should respond, but I believe we are meant to pray for them in a loving and compassionate way "I pray for peace in North Korea, God help the people in North Korea change, I pray for unity between the North and the South, draw more people to you in the North, draw more there closer to you, help those that are already Christians there endure and spread the gospel to every corner of that nation." In Jesus name Amen. I believe that's the way Christians should be praying for those kinda of nations.

I saw this from another thread, and it was dated to mid-2017 if I am not mistaken, which is significant. The second dream suggests that what this dream prophesied may have been averted through prayer. But its meaning is as follows:

The building represents North Korea itself, the nation, with all its people contained inside this "building." This is because the government is very oppressive of its people, especially the Christians. It is considered to be the most oppressive government on earth against believers in Jesus Christ.

The "flooding" is a reference to Isaiah 59:19, and how "the enemy comes in like a flood." That it was "dry on the outside" is probably a reference to South Korea, a place of safety just outside the nation.

You and one other person escape; the rest drown - This is what gives the dream a distinctively negative tone, because this in not death in the positive sense of dying to self. The entire building dies, with the far greater likelihood of it meaning a type of spiritual death where all reject Christ. This is also suggested by the fact that only YOU and one other person escape. You are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. For you to be escaping means this not a revival type environment, but a spiritually deadly one.

That only a small amount of believers are getting out is also consistent with the articles I am finding.
North Korean defector describes 'life of hell' for Christians

The lady flying from the building is the truly disturbing part, and I why I am especially hoping this dream has been averted. It represents the church in N. Korea, now dead literally, and trying to ascend in spirit to be with God. Yet because the vast majority of Christians in N. Korea are lukewarm at the very best, they do not make it. Their spirits ascend only briefly yet fall back down to earth, and not just to the earth but down a sewer pipe (suggestive of demonic uncleanness, and therefore Hell), and then down to a large drain grate (the grate suggests the gates of Hell).

A thread I found on the superficial state of Christianity in North Korea. If they were to be persecuted to death, the hope is not great for them of going to be with God:
North Korea: How Christians survive in the world's most anti-Christian nation

The good news:
Kim Jong Un all of sudden started shooting down his own shrine with small missiles and then after I saw this I was telling my parents and comparing it to the madness of Nebuchadnezzar.

Your second dream suggests Satan's plan as depicted in the first dream may not go through. Nebuchadnezzar sought to utterly oppress God's people, yet because the Lord "raised up a standard" (Isaiah 59:19 again) in the form of Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar eventually ended up practically going out of his mind instead. This would also match well with Kim Jong Un, as he seems to be something of a megalomaniac, especially in light of the threats he's been making where nuclear arms are concerned.

These are my initial impressions of the two dreams taken together. If accurate, you have been very much doing the right thing in praying for the North Koreans. Hopefully they will continue to avoid a very tragic situation in their country.

This is a dream I had about 4 years after I became a Christian in 1980.

My wife and I are walking on a sidewalk towards a very large church.
I am in a wheelchair and my wife is pushing the wheelchair.
We go into the church, many many people in there, 1000's of people.
We work our way up front because I want prayer and expect healing.
There is a very large podium up front with all kinds of machinery, looks like a very large control room at an oil refinery or something like it.
Many bells and other noises, steam going up every where.
People go up on the stage or podium, and some guys in fancy suites are pushing people through a door into a very large machine.
The door closes and these fancy dressed guys are pulling on handles and pushing buttons.
It's a "healing machine" with a "salvation section".
People fly out of it at the other end.
It's all very loud in there and disorganized, people yelling, screaming, running.....total chaos.
I don't like what I'm seeing and I tell my wife to push me out of there.
Back out in the parking lot we make a left turn and we end up on a gravel road with a wooden sidewalk next to it.
We get on the sidewalk and start going for about half an hour when we see a very small church.
She pushes me into that little church. Only a few people there with an old pastor and a few elders.
We get up front and the pastor and elders annoint me with oil and lay hands on me.
I'm instantly healed and get out of the wheelchair. Praising God.

So that's my dream.
I never was in a wheelchair during my life.
We are both 72 years old.
I have had more dreams and I will share them later some time.
I also have a story about meeting a demon and how I was baptized with the Holy Spirit. And a few miracles.
(More on that later when I have time.)

Cheers, and God bless you.

Oh, I have a gut feeling.
But you go ahead. :)

It was a dream foretelling the megachurch movement, which was already well underway in the mid-80s, but was not as watered down as it is now. The machinery represented a very mass-produced and mechanical form of "salvation" being offered, and in a very stressful machine-shop type environment where it was all about numbers and production.

The fancy suits fit well with the presentation megachurch leadership usually put forward, which is largely about appearances. The chaos with all the loud screaming and yelling is indicative of the strife engendered by superficial Christianity (ambition leads to chaos and disorder. James 3:16).

That you leave there and end up on a gravel road symbolizes you taking the road less travelled ("few there be that find it" Matthew 7:14). You end up at a small church with a real altar to God, where real anointing oil is used (the genuine presence of the Holy Spirit) rather than a machine, which just blows steam (probably a word play on leaders "blowing hot air"). As a result you get healed of your spiritual condition there, and find true salvation.

Now if this actually happened to you in real life then the dream was prophetic where you yourself were concerned. If not, it becomes a prophetic message of what the church in the US would become, and where true salvation and healing would be found.

The sad part is, it's still all going on to this day, and that was over 30 years ago.

Ah well I had a dream a few months ago, I didn't write down or anything, because I didnt think it was anything significant, and was thinking at the time, ah maybe its just a dream.

Anyway it came to my remembrance this morning after hearing of the stabbing in France, the main part I remember was running away from this guy in France with a knife, I don't think it was in Paris though, but some part of Southern France, just inside the border of France, besides running away from this guy, there was a big flying fox going down a hill, I didn't go on it, but I was only in France for a brief moment in this dream.

I had a dream back in 2005. I saw a bunch of cartoony looking skeletons walking around in an arid place. God without bodily form had brought me there to show me that, I asked him a rhetorical question "Who will save them?"

I was then brought to the top of a very tall futuristic looking windowless skyscraper by elevator. I arrived on one of the upper floors and two women sat behind a metal table and presented me with a glass of water while I was waiting. I took the water and immediately realized it was poison. I was angry they were trying to poison me and threw it in their faces, which quickly melted. They attacked me with inhuman speed and ferocity. I awoke feeling wounded in spirit like I had never experienced before.

I think I just found out what ByGrace was talking about, because I was on till pretty late last night and never got notification of this post. If I hadn't seen it through my emails I would have never known, because I never received notification through the alerts. But maybe it's cuz you didn't quote me or something.

Anyway, about this type of situation, if you can, please ask the Lord to bring back to your remembrance every detail of this dream, if possible. Sometimes the slightest detail left out can mean the difference between accuracy and total inaccuracy.

But for starters, what did you mean by "I didn't go on it"? Are you talking about the flying fox? If so, try and explain that whole deal a little clearer for me. I'm having a tough time putting together the imagery of what you saw.

I had a dream back in 2005. I saw a bunch of cartoony looking skeletons walking around in an arid place. God without bodily form had brought me there to show me that, I asked him a rhetorical question "Who will save them?"

Reminiscent of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37:1-14, but with some differences. I'll get back to that in a minute.

The implications here are that you will save them by spiritually perceiving that the "water" they are being given to drink by the current religious hierarchy is actually spiritual poison. The water here is a reference to the Holy Spirit, and the analogy is taken from the following verses (especially the latter two, but the first contains an allusion to dry, i.e. arid ground):

'For I will pour out water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants (Isaiah 44:3)

"whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." (John 4:14)

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'" But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. (John 7:37-39)

The tall, futuristic-looking skyscraper is again in all likelihood a reference to megachurch Christianity, windowless in that those trapped inside it cannot "see" spiritually. That you are taken to one of the upper floors represents being shown what is happening at the higher levels, where there are two evil spirits... this part is curious, and I have not yet been given what these two demons represent specifically...

But that you "throw it in their faces" represents you taking their spiritual poison and throwing it right back at them, which causes their faces to melt. This suddenly "melts" away their attractiveness, which may be why they were depicted as women to begin with; they would look appealing on the outside to the deceived, yet your exposing that the "spirit" they were giving others was poisonous would reveal them to be what they truly are, evil. At this they respond by attacking you spiritually, which further reveals their true character.

Have you experienced this yet? It means you will be used of God to expose the evil "spirits" that rule over "futuristic" Christianity, and you will be attacked spiritually for it severely. Btw, the desert is where the Lord draws His own, that they might all the more begin to "thirst" for His Spirit. Cities are often used to depict areas where the deceived are kept busy with the things of the world, which they must get to by traveling "the wide road" that leads to destruction.

Cartoony-looking skeletons is probably a reference to how until the Spirit of the Living God is poured upon His people in great measure, they will not be taken seriously by the world.

I don't yet know specifically what the two spirits represent, and they represent something. Maybe you would be able to tell me.

Let me know if I left something out, but I think that covers nearly all of it.

P.S. Two things I forgot, that may partially identify the two spirits:
1. "By elevator" is a reference to selfish ambition, which those who "climb" the ladder of success in false Christianity need to "reach the top."
2. The metal table is suggestive of an environment that is a very cold, hard and forbidding spiritually.

@Hidden In Him

I have often wondered. I have had many "God dreams" ...one stands out to me. Because I actually couldn't tell if I actually 'went' somewhere...or if it was 'just a dream'.

If you ever read C.S Lewis... The Chronicles of Narnia to your children or had it read to yourself as a child...you will understand this more.

One night ' I went to Narnia'..
It was so strong and real I wrote to my two ( adult) girls next day saying -
"If one day I don't wake up ( I am 76) ..don't be sad or cry, I will have just decided to stay in Narnia..." etc etc

In this dream I 'landed' in Narnia...the strange thing was, I knew in an instant that I had been there before,in dream, more than once.
I even saw people who ( when I was a child) I had seen there and they were children then too....now they were older...( did not know them in real life)
Most of them like me had visited often as a child. But now most of them no longer visited but had stayed on.
Everything was glorious and beautiful ...'heavenly'. I didn't see God, but His presence was strong.

When I woke up in the morning it was all so powerful an vivid.
And I also knew I had gone there in dream as a child more than once.
Yet never ever remembered it before that day, now I knew.

If felt like an out of body experience , like I had really gone somewhere..
( like Paul not knowing if he had gone to the third heaven or not..."in the body or out of the body I know not")

It did give me great peace...and I did feel as if next time ( if there was one) I would like to stay and not come back.

Strange eh.
I am a very "down to earth" person, not given to fantasy or spooky stuff.
This may make me sound nuts... :D
.......but it has never left me.

any thoughts?

Not the first time I have heard of this experience. I interpreted regularly for a brother in private awhile back, and one day he wrote me about something similar. This dream was very different because he dreamed of being in Heaven and actually FELT like he was there. Everything was exceedingly clear, down to the conversations he was having with the people and everything.

The Spirit is just reminding me! I've actually had a few of these myself. I remember one where I walked into a classroom of people in Heaven (I'm a teacher, which makes me a student as well), and it felt very much like I was actually there. The people there looked at me and smiled, like I was a welcome guest...

So yes, I absolutely believe there can be dreams that actually involve a type of transferance in spirit, as God so wills.

Now I should qualify that I think Paul's vision took place not during a dream but as a literal transferance in spirit while awake. And I believe it was in all likelihood for an extended time, just as some have reported who have had extended trips to Heaven in spirit, as opposed to dream sequences where they were there for a short time.

So tell me... did you see animals there whom you could understand, i.e. you knew telepathically what they were communicating? Being able to fellowship with the animal kingdom in Heaven is something I am dearly looking forward to; big animal fan, especially of big cats like tigers, lions and leopards.

Thanks for your response.
And yes, the animals seemed on equal level with people and could talk.
It did not 'seem strange' to me when I was there, but just a normal expected thing.

I too have had the heaven, or maybe the in-between place dreams...so real.
Very different to the every day regular dreams.
One was very short...I was walking down a long, long long dark corridor, no lights ...no one was coming or going, just me...
Far away in the distance I could see the end, and light .
What struck me most was I was not afraid.

Then I just heard " Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. "
Then I knew where I was!!
I said out loud.... "Oh this is okay, I can do this."
( Side comment.. While walking down this corridor I did hear- " Bobby has died". The next day we got a phone call...indeed Bobby ( older man) had died. I turned to my husband and said- "Oh, I remember now, last night the Lord told me that Bobby had gone.")

Anyway when I came out the other end of the tunnel thing, it was to a hmmm what can I say...like a white marble place, with pillars like the Greek or Roman old places ..but this marble was bright white. One could look out between these huge pillars in 4 directions. Small groups of people were waiting at all four places between the pillars. In the middle was a desk..and some people were sort of checking in..and being told at which section they should wait.
Obviously some kind of transport was expected at each waiting place to take them somewhere.

I have no idea what or why I had this dream...it didn't bother me. But it was a bit strange. Too clinical and clean for me to think it was 'heaven' or Paradise.
More like an in between place.

Then this is the second dream you've received about persecuted Christians. France, like other parts of Europe, has a growing problem with Islamic attacks upon infidels, and they have an especially bad problem with Christians. A fox's natural tendency is to flee rather than fight, so what the dream suggests is that when persecution comes the church there is going to flee rather than stand for Christ.

This attacker was Muslim:
Paris attacker 'shouting Allahu akbar' shot dead by police after stabbing victims in street

And the French have something of a reputation of being cowardly; a reputation based partly in fact:
6 Reasons Why Frenchmen Have A Cowardly Reputation – Return Of Kings

Very interesting that you should receive warnings about the potential persecution of Christians in foreign lands...
What do you consider your calling to be?

In the middle was a desk..and some people were sort of checking in..and being told at which section they should wait.
Obviously some kind of transport was expected at each waiting place to take them somewhere.

This one is different...

I'll try and take a look later, cuz I work nights and sleep mornings, and haven't slept yet today, so I think my mind is shot at this point, LoL.

Reminiscent of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37:1-14, but with some differences. I'll get back to that in a minute.

Interesting, I hadn't considered linking the two parts of the dream. I also haven't experienced this yet. This dream happened shortly after I started walking with God, but he does say he will make known the end from the beginning.

After reflecting on the dream I thought I made a mistake attacking those angels or demons. It was so long ago, I could have lost some details to time.

There is no gift of 'dream interpretation'. I hold to the gifts of the Spirit. And, I certainly believe God does still give believers dreams and visions. But that doesn't mean one has the gift of interpreting those dreams.

When God gives a believer a dream or vision it is connected with that believers life. And that believer will know more what it may address than any other individual. Not all dreams are from God. Some are just 'dreams'. When it is from God, they know it.
