I was banned from a prayer forum because of complaints. Several, many complained to the posting police because I kept telling them that it was a sin to shack up with their (drum roll for my favoritest despised word...)
PARTNER without the benefit of marriage. The forum wasn't happy that so many were offended and rebuked me for my unrighteous judging of these maligned folks. They even quoted me

It's strange that John 7:24 is never referenced, as if none of us are capable of it. Since we shall judge angels (!!!) strange we can't judge righteously here according to the UJF...unrighteous judging fuzz..

This cohabitation is so common that these church goers... That's right, mainstream denominational church attendees... saw nothing wrong with their life. They all whined about how he or she was being cheated on. Unless you have entered into a marriage covenant (not contract) there can be no cheating. WAIT! Promises of undying LOVE, devotion and fidelity made on a pillow don't count...

My wife and I were able to gift our children with the fact that we remained pure from sex until our wedding night. This was a gift of God to us because I was untamed in the BJ... Before Jesus... Years, and still treasure it.

The scant few friendly folks make it worthwhile to hang around here and my thanks to you. I think we could all meet and have a grand visit. Not having a church we have zero fellowship anywhere. We rarely see another soul unless we drive the 15 miles to the nearest town.

I don't understand MEAN. I understand disagreement but not to the extent of downright hatefulness. I refuse to join into such ridiculous exchanges. I've learned to smell these things from far away so I just bow out asap.

It's seems the important thing with these contentious souls is to be RIGHT, at least in their own eyes. Perhaps citations and trophies should be awarded to Mr. Right. I have no desire to be "right" but to instead be righteous in His eyes.

I suggest that instead of letting necks become red just throw in the towel early and congratulate the learned scripture basher on his or her victory.

One trophy would simply be a section of hollow log for the hollow victory award.

Try to look at it as God who closed the door to that place....it is becoming dead in the spiritual truths and there are some truly evil spirits working on that forum through some members there....even moderators....I believe He is gathering His Elect into one place...perhaps here....that we might become the Body of Christ with each operating in their called and chosen position.
So I barely go to CF....I go occasionally just to see if there is someone I am destined to cross paths with...it is becoming rare to find anyone over there. However, there are those who post blogs there that I truly enjoy their teachings....and there is anointing on the blogs....So I take what I can get and I leave.

I believe that the Catholic church is indeed Christian, but there was a spirit of Jezebel, or a controlling and dominating one, that was present with her in the middle ages (Thyatirean). The Catholics there did not like that. But, truth be told, there was corruption in that age. I know at least one Catholic who did not like that and told me up front I should be removed from the forum. But, the truth must be told, I can't help it.

Catholics don't deny there have been real scum bag popes, maybe 10 in all. But none of those taught anything. There never was doctrinal corruption because Jesus promised that would never happen. Jesus builds the Church, not corrupt popes.

I left Christian forums a long time ago. It's a snake pit.

It's how I eventually found this place, RockyTop. I received my third strike for "blasphemy," which I won't go into but it was an absolutely ridiculous charge, as if those in charge at the time were judging on the most superficial basis possible. I couldn't believe it. But the person I received the ban from was a moderator I know didn't like me. Her comments were that it was a joint decision, but I sometimes wonder.

I used to get up from working third shift about noon, take the CF requests, and then pray over them along with the bbnradio Family Altar around 1:15. And then... I then get accused of exorcising spirits. I asked the moderator to show me where and he did not even reply.

This is the part that I truly do not like about CF. I still want to have faith in the site because there have been some moderators there in the past who made some good decisions, ones that opened the site up to more important spiritual matters and spiritual work. But that business about not communicating with you is really unnerving. I believe it's for several reasons: They would have to counsel together in order to answer, and don't always have time; they don't want to entertain conflict with the offended member, so they just don't respond; and the one that really bothers me: They would not know how to answer you or defend their decision if really put on the spot. That last one is totally unfair, but you have to go along with it. I determined after my third strike and a one month ban that I wasn't going to be as active over there when I came back, and I have stuck by that decision. It is made easier by the fact that despite so much activity there (twice, maybe three times as much as any other forum), so little of it is of any true spiritual value.

Again, trying not to disparage the site, and I wish the best for it. But there are definitely problems over there. The spiritual climate is unhealthy.

Thanks for this. I strongly suspected this forum was a sister site to CF because both use the same format, and Brent W is the tech specialist for both. But I didn't know about the other two.

I was reading a brutal expose of Worthy Christian Forums where former and current members were really laying into them for doing all sorts of stuff, from using multiple accounts and aliases to deliberately trying to run off people they didn't like and everything in between. But I recall one person saying in passing that CF had been bought out by atheists. Not sure if that was just speculation, because if this Forum is owned by the same people it certainly seems to be run well. I just thought about it for a second because CF is highly populated by atheists, and they seem to get away with things there that the Christians don't. Maybe it's because the ownership expects more of the Christians or something. Not quite sure.

But it does seem strange that this site can virtually police itself whereas CF has to be constantly policed from the outside, and still there is friction. The quality of membership is entirely different.

Any knowledge of who exactly owns WhippMedia these days?

I have been accused of four things on CF....

1. Prayer - I was accused of excorcising spirits back when I used to pray for people.
2. End Times -I was accused of date picking when going along with Isaac Newton
3. Problems - I was accused of contempt of Christianity for bringing up problems in the church
4. Politics - I inserted a Pat Robertson video supported Donald Trump and was warned about that.

Three strikes on CF and your out! They could have got me before the fourth one. I told them that I had too many people against me over there and was not going to fight it.

It will only get worse, Gospel Gestapo's, and Scripture Police. I could understand being Hateful or calling others profane words, but with 41,000 different Denominations with at least that many different Opinions, there will always be debate. But Praying for others, giving your Opinion on Date;s [ sorry i have seen to many false predictions on this site alone in one year] and problems in the Churches! That's a Given, how would we or anyone else solve a problem without topic discussion! Hang in there, Shalom

They're there, but they have to be really strong. They pay for every single post, and get teamed up on by multiple people simultaneously. Had it happen to me on one thread where I decided to comment. They come at you from so many angles all at once that it's very tough to keep up. And then when you make a mistake they'll pound on you, LoL. Worse part is they'll then insult you and get away with it. That's the part that I don't like. And if you get spiritually aggressive with them someone complains to mommy and then you receive the warning... Strong Spirit-filled Christians should be allowed to fully defend themselves, but I don't think they allow it. Play hard ball like they do and you get kicked out of the park, LoL. Oh, well. Like I said, I still wish the best for them, but it's definitely a different environment.

I understand. When my ban took place I had recently been rejected by two people I had invested months in, doing everything I could to bring them closer to Christ. Needless to say it wasn't a fun time for me.
