Actually – that’s another LIE.

I only refer to people as “anti-Catholic” when they resort to LYING about what the Church teaches.
Simply disagreeing doesn’t make anybody an anti-Catholic - desperately lying does.

BIG difference . . .

You have made it abundantly clear you are the authority and teacher and representative of the Catholic Church...

Whoop whoop!

Newsflash....there are millions who claim to be Catholic and speak their beliefs and their traditions regarding their religion.

IF you do not like WHAT THEY SAY and it gets repeated by the people THEY speak to.....

Maybe you should spend more time figuring out how to teach FELLOW Catholics WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE....

:D

Because your methods of pretending people, (who are NOT INTERESTED) in your Churches umpteen rules, traditions, customs, ceremonies, and blah, blah, blah.....are not soliciting you to be their teacher....or be an object of your bullying.....

Dude...face it. People who are not Catholic, do not care to be "schooled" in Catholicism...

All your tongue wagging....

Anti-Catholic, Anti-Catholic, Anti-Catholic

Is laughable to hear the Anti-Protestant Catholic repeat, repeat, repeat...

I'm watching Designated Survivor. During the state of the union, the capitol building is bombed and the cabinet member who was hidden away then becomes president. Kiefer Sutherland. But it's taking me forever to watch. I'll gladly stop to watch a movie about Luther. Hope it is truthful though.

I'm going to look for that on Netflix and prime!

I didn't see it when I looked for it the other day, but there is a documentary called "Martin Luther" that came out like last year. It is on Netflix, watched it the other day and it's good.

My hat is off to many of you. Usually In the past, I just fleetingly glanced at some of the silliness BOL threw out, and then just dismissed it. But, I have to take a bow to you people who have been steadily trying to get past his religious paranoia in order to try and help him see even a little truth.

Frankly, I am not up to it. But, I applaud those of you who keep trying.
Actually - lying about the Catholic Church shows a FAR greater paranoia than anything I have added to this conversation.
I realize that you don't like to be exposed - so just stop lying and there won't be any need for me to expose you.

It's really that simple . . .

Stating the clear fact that the Catholic Churches people attended charged $$$ for "Indulgences" isn't lying.
However, claiming that it was only the Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, Priests and a dozen other officials operating and running the local churches that charged the congregants, and not specifically and directly, the Pope, is "rationalization" far surpassing a lie.
Calling it merely "an abuse" doesn't change the fact that the church officials the people trusted (the only representatives of the church they would ever see) took advantage of them, and bilked the poorer people.

calling it a church is like calling the mafia a civic organization.

i'd complain about the pointless distraction in here, but that seems to be the point i guess

For the life of me BOL I don't know why you keep excusing the abuses of the RCC. It's akin to being a holocaust denier and does nothing for your credibility.
The ignorant might be bluffed and anybody that doesn't understand your projections and hollow threats. Isn't this what the RCC built her empire on? It's quiet pathetic really.

Stockholm Syndrome is real, and i think the Romans actually invented it. Doesn't mean that Catholics can't be accepted though i guess, they seem to run along the same bell-curve every other nation has

Gosh – yet ANOTHER anti-Catholic who is ignorant about ALL things Catholic.

You are conflating Infallibility with Impeccability.
I suggest you learn the difference . . .

im·pec·ca·ble
imˈpekəb(ə)l/
adjective
  1. (of behavior, performance, or appearance) in accordance with the highest standards of propriety; faultless.
    synonyms: flawless, faultless, unblemished, spotless, immaculate, pristine, stainless, perfect, exemplary;
    sinless, irreproachable, blameless, guiltless;
    informalsqueaky clean
... sigh... even GOOGLE sees your contradiction. Tried to learn the difference... turns out there isn't one.

You can add the pope to that list. He is blaming the devil rather than the priests and bishops, or his cardinals and himself. Convenient! When will these people every learn to be honest?

NOT sure what you're getting at but impeccability is NOT infallibility.

Papal Infallibility as defined by the Church states:
In general, exemption or immunity from liability to error or failure; in particular in theological usage, the supernatural prerogative by which the Church of Christ is, by a special Divine assistance, preserved from liability to error in her definitive dogmatic teaching regarding matters of faith and morals.

Really - LEARN the difference . . .

Unlike the confused and tragic mess that is Protestantism – Catholics don’t deviate from our 2000 year old Apostolic and Biblical doctrines. A Catholic who DOES dissent and rebel is called a “Protestant”.

Once again – as I have schooled you on MANY occasions – an “anti-Catholic” is a person who resorts to lying about what the Catholic Church teaches. This usually happens out of desperation because the alternative – that the Church might just be right – is “unthinkable” to them . . .

Ummmmm, can you show me ONE single post where I “excused” any abuse in the Catholic Church??

Look – if you want to have an honest conversation – then at least TRY to stay honest . . .

Boy – this is like talking to a wall . . .

Ummmmm, I never stated that Bishops and Cardinals were selling indulgences. As a matter of fact – I ONLY stated that there were some individuals within the Church that were taking part in this abuse – and that it was NEVER ordered, commissioned, OR condoned by the Church.

I have repeatedly challenged ALL Protestants during my almost 15 years of online debating to produce the Church document that gave birth to the selling of Indulgences – and NONE of you has ever been able to produce one.

The problem is that the legend of what happened has become the “truth” for most of you.
The onus is on all of YOU to prove this myth – NOT the Church’s.

So much for your "clear facts" . . .

And again... tried to learn the difference. Everyone but you agrees that the word Infallible is a synonym to the word Impeccable. And as WHICH church defines it? Many of your posts try and support your beliefs by quoting from a book tailor made to your beliefs. I could give a hoot less how the catholic church chooses to define their terms, to people living outside of the catholic church, impeccable and infallible mean the same thing. Not trying to be disrespectful and call you stupid [as you seem to enjoy doing to others] just pointing out that when logic itself is scratching its head, maybe it is time to re-evaluate the state of your beliefs.
