it shows how dedicated one might be to commit their body to the gospel in writing. ...
My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole wording of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also.

She seemed to have been very determined.

Before she ordered the ink injected in that design, I can imagine the soul searching that she must have experienced.

I guess it was another way of asking, Have you followed the discussion?

I guess 'No comment' is also perfectly valid. ('Rather not say' is even a poll response option... :))
I believe that both genders are equally suited to serve God in any capacity.

Regarding getting tattoos, it used to be a man thing, overwhelmingly, years ago.

Not any more; there has been a sea change. This quote from the Bible Belt - that was reproduced also earlier - seems to me to speak volumes about how it has developed, doesn't it?

Around here (Bible Belt), it is common, especially among evangelical Christians, for the girls under about 40 to have religious tattoos. More do than don't, especially when you get to the under 30 crowd. I hardly know any female at church that is under 30 that does not have a tattoo.

So both your daughters? Yes, it's what younger women especially tend to do now, anyway. So would any of their ink happen to be faith based in its design?

Yes, those are very widespread and sought after ink motifs.

Were you maybe at first a bit skeptical / concerned when your daughters both became tattooed women?

(Because it sounds like as if you afterwards became maybe more understanding of a woman's wish to participate in it, anyway.)

Absolutely
Yes, well for some Christians it's more about embracing a pragmatic witness means that certainly works through its visibility.

For others, it's intensely about the joy of receiving needled ink that denotes very personally meaningful spiritual truth, with some pain that maybe makes it all the more valuable.

And for others - well, maybe a bit of both.... (Thoughts?)

I think many are curious or think its cool. .others probably have significant meaning behind it.

Yes, interesting...

So maybe in your case, when you've at least thought about it, it's the idea of the significant, permanent spiritual meaning of the form of the design that you would receive through inking that would mainly attract you.

While if you're honest as well you probably do feel it would be at least a bit cool and - let's face it - you're probably curious as well.

While for your daughters it's probably the cool and curious aspects that would be preponderant.

(If this makes any sense?)
