I came across this YT video that someone retweeted on my twitter page. The title really struck me because I am a bit into conspiracy theories, so anything that could share truth that's been hidden from us is something I like to watch.

This video shocked me! Not because it was sharing something that's been hidden, rather it was sharing something that's been hidden in plain sight! I won't spoil the secret name here because I think the video does well to explain (also has good build up). It's a bit lengthy, but gets to the secret name pretty quickly. The dialogue afterwards is pretty interesting, though I was mainly there to check out the secret name bit. I didn't pay much attention after that.

The graphics were cool, though.

Here's the link if anyone is interested:

In contrast the bible says :-
2 Corinthians 4:2 (NIV)
2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

Which shows what total nonsence the video is.

I'm not sure how this verse makes the video nonsense? Maybe you can explain it a bit further?

If you are saying that this verse of Paul is indicating that the 'Bible' is the Word of God, then how can that be so when the Bible wasn't even invented yet?
Furthermore, if we were to replace the term "word of God" with "Jesus", then the scripture would still make sense. At least it does to me. Considering that the Bible says 'Jesus' is the Word of God, then where does the idea of the "Bible" being the Word of God come from.

It seems more that we've been indoctrinated into believing that the Bible is the Word of God because that's what we hear people use it as. Believe me, I was on the same boat as you when I watched the video. I thought it was nonsense too. But I watched it again with an open-mind and God revealed the truth to me. All I had to do was get rid of the religious dogmas that controlled my mind and read scripture as it says it, then it became clear. Jesus is the Word of God as scripture says in John 1:1 and Revelation 19:13. I tried looking for scriptures that says the Bible is the Word of God, but found none.

I'm sorry, but my current conclusion is that the video is correct and the bible backs it up. I'm open to changing my mind, but this is how I see it as revealed through scripture.

In your research you never read 2 Tim 3:15 'and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of Goda may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.'
You prefer a revelation of a 'secret knowledge' that is an idea totaly contray to how scripture works.

(1 Thess. 2:13) Compare that to (2 Peter 3:15-16)

Of course if you don't believe the Bible is the Word of God, then it really doesn't matter what it says as it has no authority.

It seems my point was missed. 1 Thessallonians 2:13 states, "3 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

If you were to exchange the term "word of God" with Jesus, then what Paul is saying makes sense. You haven't answered this question. How can the bible be the Word of God if the Bible wasn't around when Paul wrote his epistles?

You then go to quote Peter saying that people twist Paul's words. Indeed, that is what's happening here, not by me, however. The Bible states who the Word of God is very clearly. If we are to exchange the term 'Word of God' with the 'Bible' then that would be blasphemy. Take for example John 1:1.

"In the beginning was the Bible, and the Bible was with God, and the Bible was God". As you can see, utter blasphemy. However, if you are to put Jesus, which the bible makes clear is another name for Jesus (Rev 19:13), anywhere you see the term "word of God", it will make perfect sense.

Believing in Jesus as the Word of God is the only authority that saves me. The Bible doesn't save me. Jesus does.

I have read the scripture you quoted. I will ask you one question: If the Bible wasn't compiled during this time, then what scriptures was Paul referring too? Also, do you have any other scriptures to support the Bible being the Word of God aside from this one?

The bible does contain secrets. Not because they are hard to find, rather they are kept secret from those that harden their hearts to hear more truth from God.

Have you ever read: Revelation 19:13, "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God."

As simple as it can get. The Bible clearly and plainly says that Jesus is the "Word of God". They say that hiding something in plain sight is a cunning way to conceal the truth. And mannnn, did it fool us!

I could exchange the name of Jesus with Gandhi every time it is used, and that would make Gandhi the saviour. I could do a lot when I exchange what is written with what is not.

(1 Thess. 2:13) contrasts the word of men with the Word of God. It speaks to that which is spoken. It is not referring to Jesus Christ. Which makes what they spoke, the Word of God.

(2 Peter 3:15-16) is clear. "...as our beloved brother Paul...hath written unto you....in all his epistles....they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures....." Peter is addressing what Paul has written. He is not addressing Jesus Christ as the Word here.

No one is trying to exchange the term 'Word' in (John 1:1) with Bible. There it definitely is speaking of Jesus Christ. That doesn't mean every time you have the term 'word of God' that it means Jesus Christ. Every time the word baptism is used doesn't always mean water. Every time the word fire is used, doesn't always mean hell.

The Bible is the Word of God because it is inspired by God. Before the New Testament, the Old Testament was the only written word of God. I don't understand your problem here. The revelation of God came over time.

Yes, I have known, acknowledged, and understand according to Gods Understanding....AND AGREE....many will CLAIM God IS ONE GOD....while doing their
Darndest to preach Gods SEPARATION, FROM HIS Spirit and Word.

John 1
[1] In the beginning God was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Gen.1
[1] In the beginning created the heaven and the earth.
[2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
[3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Isa 48
[3] I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

John 16
[27] For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Col 2
[2] That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery OF God, and OF the Father, and OF Christ;

John 10:
[30] I and my father ARE ONE.

Eph 1
[9] Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

For as MUCH Knowledge as is given us IN Scripture....there are MANY who are Eager to twist the TRUTH to FIT their man-made doctrines and creeds and philosophies.

The TRUTH IS SIMPLE...

That WHICH IS "IN" God "IS" God.
That WHICH "proceeds forth OUT from God" "IS God".
That WHICH "proceeds forth OUT from God",
Does NOT empty God of Himself.

Glory to Thee Lord God Almighty,

Paul is refering primarly to the OT, but also to the letters and versions of the gospels in circulation .

The only secrets in the bible are the secret of the gospel that the devil hides from sinners to prevent them from being saved.

We are not talking about switching a name with someone that the Bible itself doesn't define the name as. Which is your argument above.

I am saying we should swap the terms Jesus, with the Word of God, because that is the definition the Bible gives for this term.

This isn't complicated, yet it baffles me why it is difficult to grasp...
(1 Thess. 2:13) contrasts the word of men with the Word of God. It speaks to that which is spoken. It is not referring to Jesus Christ. Which makes what they spoke, the Word of God.

If Jesus can't be swapped with the term "Word of God", then that's a problem. It's either the Bible is inconsistent, or our interpretation of what the Bible is saying is wrong. Can't be both.
The Bible is the Word of God because it is inspired by God. Before the New Testament, the Old Testament was the only written word of God. I don't understand your problem here. The revelation of God came over time.
The final revelation was Jesus. The ultimate expression of God's revelation. BTW, not all scriptures were inspired. Jesus spoke about Moses' giving permitting divorce, when God didn't want that. God allowed it because of the hardness of people's hearts.

The importance in knowing that Jesus alone is the Word of God, is because the doctrine that the Bible is the Word of God produces bad fruit (hence, is a lie and needs to be exposed as such). If someone believe that the whole Bible is the Word of God, then they can pick any piece of the Bible and say this is the Word of God. However, if this is done, then we can justify all types of things that we aren't suppose to do.

For example, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth is taught in the bible. Jesus says we shouldn't follow it. Which do we believe? If they both are the Word of God, then they hold the same weight, so do we try and find a compromise. Of course not! We follow Jesus because he gave us the ultimate revelation of God. The same should be done with the rest of the Bible, i.e., we should line up the rest of the Bible with the words of Jesus, rather than lining Jesus' words with the rest of the Bible (which is what the churchianity does today).

When we understand the importance of Jesus' words, then it puts a new emphasis on Jesus, which the devil doesn't want. Here is a simple example of how much people don't know about Jesus and his words: Anybody that has read up until this point please think of 10 teachings of Jesus. No cheating. Don't look them up, rather think of teachings that Jesus told his followers to do off the top of your head. No parables. Only direct commands of Jesus.

If this exercise is done honestly, then my point will become clear.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the gospels weren't written until after Paul's epistles were written?

Anyways, this makes it clear that the present bible we have couldn't be what was being referred to during this time, since it wasn't around when Paul wrote this.

True the devil does hide the truth from us. It takes Jesus opening our eyes to understand the truth of His words and the teachings found within.

You are talking about switching the term 'word of God' with Jesus every time it is used. Foolish. As I showed, it is the written Word of God that was being addressed.

How about 'light'? Jesus is the light, isn't He. Yet so is satan. What do you do? You pay attention to who is being addressed. These are not blanket terms.

Concerning Jesus words, you pay attention to who He is talking to. It may apply to the Chruch, and then again, it may not.

Concerning your 10 teachings of Jesus, you better have them directed to the correct people.

The TRUTH IS SIMPLE...

That WHICH IS "IN" God "IS" God.
That WHICH "proceeds forth OUT from God" "IS God".
That WHICH "proceeds forth OUT from God",
Does NOT empty God of Himself.
this is correct except for,
That WHICH "proceeds forth OUT from God",
Does NOT empty God of Himself". supportive scripture, Philippians 2:7 "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men".
no reputation is the Greek word,
G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') v.
1. to make empty.
2. (figuratively) to abase, neutralize, falsify.
[from G2756]
KJV: make (of none effect, of no reputation, void), be in vain
Root(s): G2756

but in defense of Taken, this was the "Diversity" of God that made himself, G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō'). not the Source, but only the "Diversity" or the "Offspring", the son.

so we want to make that clear.

Where did you show that the Bible says it is the written 'word of God'. You still didn't answer the point about the Bible didn't even exist.
Indeed, the word light can even be used to talk about the sun. However, it isn't so with the term Word of God. It is specifically given to one person and one person only. Why is this difficult to accept that Jesus alone is the Word of God?

The teachings of Jesus are directed to anyone that has His Holy spirit. As Jesus testifies to this by saying in John 14:26, " But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

If we have the Holy spirit, then we will remember and practice the teachings that it's suppose to remind us of (i.e., Jesus' words).

The video is a misnomer. The text says he is "called The Word of God" but this is not some revelation of his secret name mentioned.

We have other passages that already reveal him as The Word, i.e. John 1.

Anyways, this makes it clear that the present bible we have couldn't be what was being referred to during this time, since it wasn't around when Paul wrote this.
Why does it make clear? has the message of the gospel changed over the years?
