I am glad that you said that. Perhaps then you will also understand "the key of knowledge" according to Christ, is the Spirit. Which is exactly what I have been saying, and what you have thus far rejected.

I've not rejected the reality of intent of the law over letter.

That is not what you say.

Looks like you've obtained everything on your own; knowledge, learning, understanding. Salvation.

Then you believe understanding is a gift, but not faith? You did that all on your own. Gotcha.

So, you pick and choose what you do, and you pick and choose what God does.

Interesting.

I've never witnessed a person in my life who tells God what His place is, and what their place is. Seems the person thinks of himself as god here.

Since you've re-birthed yourself by choosing, did you procreate yourself as well and choose yourself into being?

I bet you did. Do tell!

Enough of the Calvinism.

It does not matter what anybody says to you you will spin it.

You quote, but do not understand.
That's pretty arrogant for a spiritualizer. So now you should change your user name to "GURU ScottA", sit on a mountain top, and let those poor ignorant people approach you for spiritual insights. Esoteric knowledge.

All I'm hearing myself. Unfortunately I'm also hearing you.

The problem is you're not speaking truth. You're just accusing others of lying when they tell you the truth.

You have said heaven is spiritual and all in it.

Yet God's throne is physical. It descended to Ezekiel.

The new Jerusalem is physical and will descend on the new earth.

Enoch and Elijah, the two witnesses, are physical and in
heaven.

The 4 living beings in heaven are flesh.

Resurrection means the return of the flesh bodies to life.

Saints will be glorify by God. Just read such as Romans 8.

Christ' body resurrected. It was a glorified.

Spirits do not resurrect.

You're trying real hard to dodge issues that you can't answer.
All of those are spiritual.

But you didn't answer my questions...so we can come clean and be honest about these things. I say again:
  1. Is any part of the word of God by any other Author than the Word, Jesus Christ our Lord?
  2. And, what did He say...are His words "spirit" or not?

And if I had spoken underhandedly in worldly terms, would you have complimented me?

New International Version
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you--they are full of the Spirit and life.

Not what you said.

You are evading. That does not answer both questions, but only pits your choice of translations against another. Either way, the truth should be clear.

I'll answer for you:
  1. Jesus Christ, the Word, is the only author of scripture.
  2. His words are spirit.
That is my point in this thread. But here we are arguing.

I can speak for myself.

Clarify your words and meaning before you speak.

You make it sound like a word is an actual spirit.

God is the author of the Bible.

His words are full of spirit, they are not spirit. Meaning inspired and inspirational, not spirit like an angel.

More evading.

I did not ever give any reason (nor did Jesus who said it first) to have anyone think He meant a spiritual being. That is a dodge of semantics.

But that is not to say that what is manifest of God is not spirit, because it is, and that is the word from Christ. But now you mix in the idea of spiritual inspiration, which indeed, is not the same thing. Inspiration is the Spirit coming upon a person, also referred to as being "in the spirit", which spirit is most definitely a Being, but the person is not. So for you to categorically mix the two and deny them both, is part of the problem. For this very reason Christ scolded the lawyers.

Enough of the Calvinism.

It does not matter what anybody says to you you will spin it.

Not even remotely true.

The fact is your entire gospel is of works. Several here have proven this and all you've offered are lies and evasion. The bottom line is you've spun a web of lies concerning the Doctrines of Grace and sit smugly like your libel is true.

Your thread on Calvinism being a cult is based on fabrications, libel, straw man arguments, hate, and a link to a Google page where you searched "Calvinism is a cult" which showed links to others who are clueless like yourself. You offered the latter as "proof." Frankly, that is blatant ignorance, but you have no shame in lying or offering a search page as "proof" to buffer your stance of ignorance.

It just goes to show you're not really interested in truth.

Anytime you're ready to debate me, end your being elusive and evasive, and actually address facts and contextual Scripture let me know.

I'm fully ready to show you from Scripture where you've come up with your false gospel. For the record, you do this in ignorance, but you're teetering on doing it willfully in rejection of the truth. You're like the Romans 9:20 man, in defiance of God and think he owes man salvation.

Let me know when you're ready to debate like a man, minus your callow straw man arguments, claims of victory, avoidance of Scripture, and address facts.

I'll be waiting for you to accept the offer, and we will see if you can man up.
