You have been answered on that many times by many people.
I must have missed those posts or my memory is failing. Please cite a post # where someone stated which covenant the Jews are under or when the OC came to an end for them.

However you want to define it...the law stands/is established because the Gospel exalts Christ's righteousness Who was perfect in obedience to the Law. We don't have the necessary obedience, unless you have perfect obedience to the law.
Do you have perfect obedience to the law? No? Then how are you 'establishing' the law?
I answered your last question in post #110. No, I don't have perfect obedience, but I have Yeshua and grace. Yeshua and grace do NOT give me license to break the law constantly simply because Yeshua kept it perfectly. I am expected to obey YHWH's commandments BECAUSE of Yeshua's work of salvation in me. Do you keep any of the Ten Commandments? If not, then you sin constantly without repentance. If you do keep some of them, why? Didn't Yeshua keep them for you? Now that he kept them for you, are you free to steal, commit adultery, idolatry and break the Sabbath, etc?

I live them out as it is Christ who lives in me. Yet imperfectly due to the remaining sin nature. Through the new nature, I have a desire to please Him and through His abiding Spirit, I have the power.
Yet, I do not keep any of the 10 as I ought (not perfectly as He did), so yes I sin constantly..BUT..I also repent constantly.
I find those who are not born again are drawn either to legalism or antinomianism while quickly accusing others of the same, not understanding the relationship between law and grace.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I could not access the forum yesterday or this morning for some reason.

I totally agree. So we seem to view law and grace the same way. However, I suspect you do not keep the ten commandments as written, but somehow change the Sabbath command so that you are no longer required to keep the 7th day holy and are free to work on that day. Is that correct?

No. You do the research.
I'll pass on the research.

Is there some reason why you don't cite verses to support your points? The last time you quoted a verse was way back in post #83 even though I have asked you for references several times.

Regarding the Sabbath, yes, I keep it as I find my 'rest' in Christ and not in a certain day but everyday.

Sorry, but resting in Christ is not keeping the Sabbath. The Sabbath is a physical rest from work, not a spiritual rest from the burden of sin or of striving to be justified by works which is what our rest in Messiah is. I'm pretty sure you keep the exact letter of the other nine commandments, but you won't keep the letter of the Sabbath command.

I hope you are not under the impression you are keeping the Sabbath as you no longer have a physical Temple for your physical rest.
Wait, I forgot why we are having this silly conversation in the first place. My point is that Jesus is my Sabbath as I rest in Him. Come Judgment Day, believe me, it will be a physical rest.

I keep the exact letter of the other nine??? Where did I say that? My hope for law keeping is found in Christ who perfectly kept the law in my stead and imputes His righteousness to my account through faith in Him.

And by the New Testament it does not have to be on the seventh day or by your formula.

A physical Temple is not necessary to keep the Sabbath holy as Exodus 16;23-30 teaches us. This took place before any Temple or Tabernacle was built. It also takes place before the law was supposedly given. Exodus 16:4 teaches us that obedience to the Sabbath command was YHWH's test commandment to see if Israel's heart was right towards His law. I hope, for the sake of all Christians that refuse to keep the 7th day holy, that YHWH is not using the Sabbath as a test commandment today as well.

Wait, I forgot why we are having this silly conversation in the first place. My point is that Jesus is my Sabbath as I rest in Him. Come Judgment Day, believe me, it will be a physical rest.
Conversing about obedience to YHWH's commandments is certainly not "silly". Especially since it is a gauge of whether or not we truly love YHWH (1 John 5:3).

I didn't say you said that. I said "I'm pretty sure" you do. Do you literally steal stuff or have sex with another man's wife or bow down to idols or lie about people or murder people ...? I sure hope not. Therefore, you keep the letter of the other nine commandments, but not the fourth.

My hope for law keeping is found in Christ who perfectly kept the law in my stead and imputes His righteousness to my account through faith in Him.
His righteousness and our faith are not a license to sin (Galatians 5:13; 1 Peter 2:16; 2 Peter 2:19; Jude 1:4). We are to obey His laws just as Yeshua did. We may not do it as well as he did. We may sin at times, but that is why we have him. We don't have him so we can break YHWH's commandments without consequences.

Newsflash! Compared to His lawkeeping we sin ALL the time. Only those who have lowered the goal posts think they are sometimes sinless. His righteousness is above ours higher than the heavens are over the earth?

Yes, Yeshua's righteousness is way above ours, but that does not give us a license to sin by resting on his righteousness.

True, but resting in His Righteousness is better than striving in our flesh to keep the law thus producing works of the flesh as recorded in Gal 5.

I agree. We are to rest in his righteousness and walk in the Spirit as we obey all of YHWH's laws out of love for him and not out of a desire to be saved or justified.

Paul to the Romans speaks of 'the obedience of faith' and 'obedience to the faith'.

Romans 16:26 (KJV) But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Romans 1:5 (KJV) By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

It's interesting the two phrases come at the beginning and end of the same book (Romans), and they occur only once in the whole Bible.
I do believe they are synonymous with each other, like matching bookends.
