Saddened to hear about the shooting, did not realise that two Mosques were targeted - just been listening to Sky news interviewing someone who was there, all they were concerned about was finding out information, no doubt ' to be first ' to relay a name of a victim.

Then you have the political leader announcing that's it's an immigration problem, basically he is blaming the Muslims for the fact that someone has decided to go in and kill them !
It's a hatred problem ! ( in my opinion - I am sure some on here will have different views )

We need to protect vulnerable groups from violence. I will do everything I can to protect all people gathered to pray and worship

Say what you want in opposition if you have a liberal bleeding heart, but I am totally in favor of churches having members who are armed and proficient. A coward, as most of these sickos are, will stay far away from anywhere they think armed men or women might fight back.

What people in the Western countries (including Australia and New Zealand) need to clearly understand is that Radical Islam declared Holy War (Jihad) against the West, Christians, and Jews about 50 years ago. Which included migrant invasion into all the Western countries.

Conscientious politicians and political leaders in the West should have taken that declaration very seriously, and developed stringent policies (jointly) to bar all Muslims from the West (radical or not, since the non-radicals tacitly fund and support the radicals). Which would have meant that very few (if any) Muslims would now be present in any Western country, and the establishment of mosques would be a non-issue.

Instead those careless, unpatriotic, and essentially stupid (called "useful idiots" by the Jihadists) politicians with their Left-Liberal ideas opened the doors wide to Muslim migration. As a result thousands of mosques were established throughout the West, primarily to indoctrinate the young into hatred for the West and its values, hatred for Christians, and hatred for Jews. The mosques are breeding grounds for Islamist Radicalism, and many of those who went from the West to Syria and Iraq to join ISIS were indoctrinated there. They are being sent back to wreak havoc within their communities.

Since the politicians in the West have failed their constituents miserably, and have done next to nothing to deal severely with Muslim terrorists, those who care about the downfall of their countries have become totally frustrated. And this shooting is simply an expression of revolt against the coddling of terrorists and Muslims by the West.

While nobody should condone the loss of lives, this should be a wakeup call to the entire Western world to act responsibly and start rooting out the radicals while warning the non-radicals that if they even support terrorism or stay silent, they too will be subject deportation. Instead Western European countries and their police have been deliberately suppressing news about the rampant violence and atrocities being committed by Muslims throughout Europe and the UK.

The whole Syrian refugee fiasco was a total scam since there are plenty of wealthy Muslim nations such as Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, etc. who could easily have accommodated any and all genuine refugees from the Middle East. Instead they had to pour into the USA and Canada because of our politicians, along with terrorists using false papers, some even pretending to be minor when they were adults.

It is simply amazing that no one in the West has the integrity and wisdom to deal with the Muslim issue properly. Now we have a Muslim woman in the United States using her position within the government to essentially undermine the Constitution and the government, and establish Sharia law in America, while attacking the Jews and getting away with it. The Somalis in the USA have been training and sending out Jihadists for a long time, but few have spoken out against this betrayal. Once again, the legislators in the USA failed to see that no Muslim will owe allegiance to the Constitution above the Koran, therefore they should have been barred from public office. Indeed they would even lie about their loyalty since that is permitted by the Koran. All of this information is out there, so no one has the excuse of ignorance.

I agree that Islam should be kept in its own countries. But, are you in favor of killing churches full of any people???

islam has no country. islam sees every country where it exists as it's own to be subjugated under Shariah Law.

No, I do not. But Radical Muslims have had no compunction about such atrocities worldwide. Please go to this web site and see the attacks on Christians by Muslims. Since 2001 there have been dozens of attacks all over the world, which the West may or may not hear about:

Islamic Terror
on Christians

This is a list of targeted acts of terrorism on Christian civilians and church workers by religious Muslims since September 11th, 2001. These attacks have nothing to do with war, combat or insurgency. The victims are innocent Christians who were specifically targeted and abused solely on account of their faith by those who claim their own religion as a motive.

I'll be honest I don't know how I feel. I do feel bad for the people left behind but I just don't feel anything. Muslims killed 3000 Americans and committed genocide against my ancestors, everybody seems to feel bad but I can't seem to does that make me bad?

It is crazy to see how much Christians like to demonize Muslims....
How do you guys justify it? Jesus commands us to love others, remember? It is the purpose of life

Muslims have demonized themselves, so there is no need to turn the tables onto Christians. If a Jihadist walked through your door tomorrow and beheaded you, he would be telling his fellow Muslims that he did the will of Allah. Take some time to study the Koran and how it is being used by the demonized Jihadists to attack Christians, Jews, and Westerners.

It is all very well to criticise Muslims because they have no intention of upholding the constitution. I get that. I think the constitution of the US is a magnificent document along with the bill of rights, but let us at least be consistent. You do not have to go far beck in recorded history (I'm talking decades, not centuries) to find that the Vatican has often expressed its antipathy toward the constitution...shall we ban Catholics from public office? Or ban Catholic educated politicians from public office? First, you would end up with one sitting judge on the supreme court, and 3/4 of the senate and congress would empty.
@Enoch111 while I agree that our politicians are mostly empty headed self serving glory seekers, to ban the innocent alomg with the extremists is totally unbiblical. Freedom of worship, wherever that may be, must be upheld at all costs...even for our enemies....and I would defend to the death a Muslim's right to worship because should I deny him, I give tacit permission for anyone to deny me.
What few realise is that kiwis are a unique lot for the most part. We do not see this attack so much on Islam in general or Muslims in particular...those people in those mosques wre our neighbours, possibly our friends. We bought groceries at their shops...rode in their taxis....climbed onto their buses...went to school with and possibly taught their children....this attack was against all of us. It was an attack against New Zealand. And we're hurting.

I get what many of you are saying, but the bottom line is whether or not we agree with this kind of action or not- as Christian do we agree with the actions of this killer ?
Just because christians have been attacked, just because the western world has been impacted , does it mean that ' we agree ' with what they are doing and consider it okay to do the same back.
The guy who did this wants white rule, compared himself to nelson Mandela and desires the Nobel peace prize - he claims he is a Christian, but says ' it's complicated '
I have always found it so strange that people who want ' white rule ' and they claim to follow Jesus, don't actually consider that Jesus himself was not white.

I do agree that we need to be aware of the bigger picture, but the world in general doesn't agree or see the same picture and it never will. In some respects there is truth within his manifesto with regards to what we see happening , and it's so easy , with hindsight, to say we should have taken things more seriously all those years ago, but we cannot turn back the clock.

The spiritual battle heats up, but the question is what have we been told to do - carry guns, arm ourself with Worldly weapons, seek revenge , hate, ect. We have insights, we also have spiritual weapons - but the message to the church, and by that I mean Gods people , where ever they are, is to ' wake up '
How much time do we all waste , and I put my hand up to this as well, arguing, complaining, bickering between one another - if this forum alone is anything to go by- a lot.
Oooops sorry got on a soap box !
I have to go to work - so I will stop xxxxxxx

"Incidents" like this are always challenging to our worldview. It challenges us to think and act in ways that we would normally not consider...not because we don't know theoretically what we ought to do, but because we don't ever think "it will happen to us", therefore we don't consider acting appropriately would ever be necessary. People in war-torn countries that have suffered decades of strife, civil war, face this issue every day. As Christians we are called upon...obligated...to love our enemies. Doing that...and in the sense that God intends for us to love...is something many people have to choose every day of the lives. We here in the west have little conception and we sit back and spew our hatred at all those who insult us or offend us even to the slightest degree while Christians elsewhere are praying for...feeding...sharing the gospel with those who a few days previous killed their children or decimated their village. But we need to take careful heed to what is going on around us. The 4 angels are slowly letting go of the four winds and the war and strife is no longer limited to the African and Middle Eastern nations. Terrorism...civil strife...rioting...hatred and mindless vindictiveness and murder has for several years now become irrevocably mainstream fare for western nations as well as those outside of the so-called "first world status". We need to seriously consider our hearts and minds before it becomes too late. We need now to choose whom and how we serve. Not loving our enemies is not an option.
