Well in England...drinking tea is the first order of any meeting! :D
This week the British government said that important negotiations are underway with the European Union. A spokesman for the European Union basically said there are no current proposals from the British Government and therefore no negotiations happening.

Sounds as surreal as the British Cabinet meeting yesterday when Brexit was reportedly not actually discussed.

Concentrating on drinking tea does indeed sound like a good, typically British idea to agree on when there is nothing else to agree on.

Nice one, Mr Blair.

Mammoth, terminological inexactitudes about the Iraq War and WMD, and now this:

(I wonder why Mr. Blair still wants to travel on a British passport?)

I cannot get the you tube link to play.
Well tonight MPs have voted against a no deal Brexit, yesterday they voted against Mrs Mays new Brexit deal. It's endless, boring now and not quite sure what they will decide to do. Vote for a delay, which will drive us all nuts, or perhaps a re- vote ........ The saga continues !!

If the people voted for Brexit, that's it regardless of what Germany or France want or the EU or other unelected rabble want, they want the UK to be free of the enslavement to such grubs and Ireland can go jump if they like, the stupid ignorant fools are still hung up on the past.
It's no where as hard to do as they are making out, you just do it and all will fall into place without a real problem truly, as all they have to do is work to make it go smoothly.

I see that Guy Verhofstadt from the European Parliament and Michel Barnier, Chief EU negotiator, have both said, basically: What would be the point of extending the UK withdrawal deadline?

(Which is another way of saying, Good riddance!)

At last, they and Mr Farage agree on something...

Below, a good, new, post Brexit anthem for the UK? ;)

I don't know much about politics but kind of feel it's not about Brexit but power egos and struggles within the government now. Everyone is so sick of the whole thing now X

Had there been political will at the top, Brexit could have been a done deal within weeks.

While the people may want freedom from EU slavery, the politicians want to play games with the future of the UK (which they have been doing for decades now, and getting away with it, with London as Londonistan).

It would appear that Scotland and Ireland prefer to be enslaved by the EU, but then again, who knows what kind of lies their politicians have been feeding them. The UK resisted the EU for a very long time, until some self-serving politicians decided it would be good for their bank accounts to join up and destroy their nation.

And of course the whole stupid EU concept (along with the issuance of the Euro) was to milk the general public and then enslave them (while promising all kinds of goodies). While creating a European elite class which has no clue about anything. At the same time, making all the borders disappear was wonderful for the Radical Islamists and the Muslim migrant invaders, who could now travel from North Africa all the way to Northern England to carry out their dastardly deeds, with no one to stop them.

Well that's how Satan plays the game, with the hope that you give up. not to mention that your vote means nothing nowadays.

' Here we go again ' comes to mind at the moment !
More votes, more political moves ( in the votes last night over here nearly all of labour voted together - what a surprise !! )
So I guess we will now see what Europe says -
And I am sorry, but Trumps comments yesterday - ' if May had followed his advise ..... ect ect '
The truth is that even if May had done things another way there is no way of knowing if the same mess would have transpired. By all means boast if the advise offered was taken and it brought about a good result , but don't boast on ' maybe's ' !
We already know it's a mess, so we don't actually need another leader to state the obvious !
Mind you perhaps he should go into parliament and ' fire ' a few people, how about most of them - that might help !

I suppose the obvious thing to say would be that ethically one can't keep having referendums until someone likes the result... (To paraphrase what was said in 2000 about the Florida recount).

Just goes to show that MPs driven by multinationals seem to think that the British Parliament is and ought to be a rubber stamp for corporations...

I realise that there is a lot going on in all our countries right now, but please will you pray for the UK this week. Brexit is a mess, the government are now turning on the prime minister - time is running out and everyone is so fed up.
The government are voting on many things this week, including a possible second referendum - this is what many people want.
I have not got a clue - have no idea what is right at the moment. The government have messed up-
I still feel it's right to leave , but with what deal, just simply don't know enough.
If it goes back to the people I am pretty sure Brexit will be over and we will remain - then the EU would have a little bit more power over us than it had before - can't help but wonder if we are self prophesying being part of what is predicted in revelations - but I don't know enough , it just kind of feels as if we are digging ourself into a hole, rather then getting out of one ( if that makes sense )

Seems like the politicians don't want to leave, but the people do, and so the politicians on the news seem to be kicking and screaming to find ingenious ways not to honor the result of the referendum! (Just how it comes across to me...)

Imploding seems to express the situation well (as I see it from afar).

Amazing how politicians seem almost to prefer an imploding situation rather than to do what was decided in the referendum.
