As far as moderators go, maybe reporting more to them would help. Haven't read the threads too much anymore. But if we do care for this forum, maybe reporting would help them help us. It is a lot of reading for sure...

I am surprised at your previous sharp reply to Enoch, hb. I must also add that i do not consider Enoch a fool.Yes I do. I am Charismatic Episcopalian, learn to ask instead of being a fool, Proverbs 10:14, Proverbs 18:2.
Mayflower....matey, I think we need to encourage each other in patience and civility rather than reporting what we consider an infraction. A little kindness goes a long way even on those who are deemed difficult :)As far as moderators go, maybe reporting more to them would help. Haven't read the threads too much anymore. Dear Friends and others,
I want to thank you for letting me come to your forums. This has taken a long time to write and think about and I am sure everyone has written something like this before and might has reconsidered after they did. I just don't feel like I have anything in common with anyone here. People here are Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone) and I am not, a majority of People for the most part seem not to like any Church and I am pro Church, I believe that Baptism is necessary for Salvation (Acts 2:38; 22:16; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 3:21), I believe in the authority of the Church and that the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Tim 3:15) . I am a Traditional Liturgical Christian, most here are not. I believe in the Real Presence in the Bread and Wine, I believe in asking the Saints in Heaven for prayer as I ask you all for prayer sometimes. I believe in all the bells and whistles in the Church. There seems to be no mods or admins to get the worst offenders and they don't seem to care.
That is the main reason I feel that I really can not identify with most here and this place can bring out the worst in me for some reason. Since I am going to start seminary soon for the diaconate and the Priest hood if God wills than it is better if I left here.
I have mixed feelings about my time here, I want to say thank you for my time here and yet I am not sure either. I will stay through Easter and then delete my watch threads and all that. I felt like I should explain myself and not just abruptly disappear.

Well Episcopalians and/or Anglicans do not believe in either of these things: "I believe in the Real Presence in the Bread and Wine, I believe in asking the Saints in Heaven for prayer as I ask you all for prayer sometimes."Yes I do. I am Charismatic Episcopalian...
Everything you stated about your beliefs was confirmation that you are a Catholic. So now you take offense by being identified as a Catholic? Amazing.
As to staying, almost the entire gamut of Christian beliefs is represented here. So you can either support your beliefs strictly with Scripture, or you can continue to be deceived by the Catholic Church (or whatever group you identify with). Every church's and every denominations doctrines and practices must be examined in the light of Scripture.
Well Episcopalians and/or Anglicans do not believe in either of these things: "I believe in the Real Presence in the Bread and Wine, I believe in asking the Saints in Heaven for prayer as I ask you all for prayer sometimes."
1. The Episcopal Church in the USA is derived from the Church of England:
The beginnings of the Church of England, from which The Episcopal Church derives, date to at least the second century, when merchants and other travelers first brought Christianity to England...Establishment of parishes on the North American continent began to spread steadily following the first recorded celebration of Holy Communion in New World in 1607 in Jamestown, Virginia. This conformed to the typical colonial expansion pattern of the English Church in other parts of the world at the time...
History of the American Church
2. The Church of England holds to (or held to) The Thirty Nine Articles of Religion (their Statement of Beliefs) and the Episcopal Church is in agreement with them.
We Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As constituent members of the Anglican Communion in the United States, we are descendants of and partners with the Church of England and the Scottish Episcopal Church, and are part of the third largest group of Christians in the world.
What We Believe
3. The Thirty Nine Articles totally repudiate the "Real Presence":
XXVIII. OF THE LORD'S SUPPER
THE Supper of the Lord is not only a sign of the love that Christians ought to have among themselves one to another; but rather is a Sacrament of our Redemption by Christ's death: insomuch that to such as rightly, worthily, and with faith, receive the same, the Bread which we break is a partaking of the Body of Christ; and likewise the Cup of Blessing is a partaking of the Blood of Christ.
Transubstantiation (or the change of the substance of Bread and Wine) in the Supper of the Lord, cannot be proved by holy Writ; but is repugnant to the plain words of Scripture, overthroweth the nature of a Sacrament, and hath given occasion to many superstitions.
The Body of Christ is given, taken, and eaten, in the Supper, only after an heavenly and spiritual manner. And the mean whereby the Body of Christ is received and eaten in the Supper is Faith.
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper was not by Christ's ordinance reserved, carried about, lifted up, or worshipped.
4. The Thirty Nine Articles do not mention praying to (or through) the saints in Heaven, but they do repudiate Roman Catholic teachings. Thus they also believe in Sola Scripture (WHICH YOU REJECT):
VI. OF THE SUFFICIENCY OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES FOR SALVATION
HOLY Scripture containeth all things necessary to salvation: so that whatsoever is not read therein, nor may be proved thereby, is not to be required of any man, that it should be believed as an article of the Faith, or be thought requisite or necessary to salvation. In the name of the holy Scripture we do understand those Canonical Books of the Old and New Testament, of whose authority was never any doubt in the Church.
So you are essentially a Roman Catholic, not an Anglican/Episcopalian.
I am surprised at your previous sharp reply to Enoch, hb. I must also add that i do not consider Enoch a fool.
I am not Episcopalian USA. I am Charismatic Episcopalian. Honesty learn already. We do believe in the Real Presence but do not say how it happens like the Catholics do. We believe in the cloud of witness as in Hebrews. We believe in the primacy of Scripture but not Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone). We believe in the Charismatic gifts. There are more too so do some research before assuming.
I could say you are a fundamental extremest. Would that be right to assume?
