wadr imo you just need to come out of the cave, not go into it. Or from your perspective you prolly need to go rescue the little girl locked in the cave, bc see ViJ is not even here, in a way, hence why all the questions prolly. Which you just asked one i guess, which i cannot clarify, and would just skip over, except if i were you i would pursue these to see what they might tell you. So, what was the Q...
Just wondering why no lots were cast for Paul’s position...not that I know of?
i could make guesses, but why would you wonder this? How is it pertinent iyo? But a kneejerk reply is that Paul's position was undisputed, Paul was a traitor to the system, on the run from the law, with a price in his head, yeh, no lots need be cast to replace him, bc there is "no one?"
Why they cast lots for His garment
ah well imo that is a rather symbolically loaded passage, but the surface story gives enough clues, obv they cast lots for something precious they all wanted, that could not be divided without ruining it, and imo at least the casting lots there is not the "bad" part, the bad part is more like figting over the garment, appearance, outer shell, outside of the cup, while you are assassinating what gave you a clean cup inside, iow the casting lots is not evil there, the lack of understanding is? The not knowing what they (you) are even doing?
and why it is never mentioned after Judas position was filled.
well, lotta directions you might go there, lot i cant really say that would make sense w/o understanding...which foundation "Judas" was, and why he was "replaced," so i'll say that casting lots can be an expression of
what is it? and this concept seems to be intentionally hidden, even if in plain sight, its something that must be sought, the last thing a logical thinker wants to seek.
Why God even ever brought lot casting into it to begin with.
well, lot casting goes with conflicts, yeh? But i dont see where God specifically ever did bring lot casting into it, except as a custom established OT, which seems to me they were honoring?
Does it have anything to do with
Romans 9:11-12 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth [12] It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
well if it does i'm not seeing it...except maybe in allowing God to elect, rather than holding an election? Like we do?
So many questions ...you have a good point to the middle man being removed though...got that you meant that middle man is you(if I understood?).
me, or anyone, sure, casting lots removes all people from the decision, yeh? That is the point?
Was reading this just earlier. Hebrews 6:16
[16] For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
And considering what ...ends strife...then you posted of taking out the middle man.
for men, yes, but we are told to not be doing that specifically elsewhere, right?
The wonders of the Kingdom of God?
sorry? what is the Q here?
