The Seven Spirits of God

Good morning forum! Well I am still studying in Revelation.....it is not a book you can just read through and be done so it is taking me a great deal of time to get even half way....so here is another NEW revelation the Holy Spirit has opened my eyes to see and I put out here for comment....
Revelation 4:5
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Seven spirits of God? well....this made me want to study and research what the seven Spirits of God are and this is what I have found so far.
Isaiah 11:1-3
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Revelation 3:1
“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.”

Revelation 5:6
“Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it has been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He has seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

As I continued to study and research I found almost all teachers on the subject say that the seven Spirits of God are the 7 attributes of the Holy Spirit.....one even states that is is the perfect completeness of the Holy Spirit.....and Revelation 5:6 seems to back this up with the "sent out into all the earth"....and He has 7 horns and 7 eyes....so I had to look up this....
Seven=Fullness
Seven Horns=Fullness of Power
Seven Eyes=Fullness of Insight



As I am continuing to learn this really struck me so profoundly that I prayed and asked God to let me experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit in my life....the 7 anointings of God.....

God is complex and so is the work of the holy spirit as well.. 7 is the number of spiritual perfection.. to be perfect we should experience all of God 7 anointings now too..

The Holy Spirit is a person who combines the 7 Spirits of God, EXPRESSIONS OF GOD’S CHARACTER, PERSONALITY OR NATURE

There's also the "seven thunders uttered", in Revelation 10:3-4, but it was sealed up and not mentioned again after that. I wonder if we'll ever find out...

It's a very deep book - even thought the language is clear and simple, for the most part (John's style is very clear and simple)...so much symbolism.

Yes it is, funny enough it was given to me by a Jehova's Witness I use to work with years ago when I was young, he was trying to convert me, which didn't work, he gave me a couple of hard covered books and a King James Bible.

Yeah, I started studying the Revelation 65 years ago when I was 12 years of age.

So we have at least 21 Holy Spirits revealed in Scripture, before the throne, to the churches, and the ones that emanate from the Lamb that was slain, and I am sure there are many more. Sort of knocks a big hole in the myopic ideology of the Trinity bunch who have confined an Infinite God to some kind of 3-in-1 concept.

From the very beginning, from the very first verse of Scripture which says "In the beginning, the Gods [Elohim plural] created the heavens and the earth. And then the Gods got together over a glass or two of wine, and after a few drinks, said, "Hey, guys, let's make man in our own image!!"

No! Quite the opposite. JWs look down on anyone who is not part of their unChristian cult.

My experience with a nephew from the black sheep branch of the family, that got sucked into this JW nonsense was a real eye-opener. They maintain absolute control over their members. They even monitor the activities of their members and their family, on the internet. When I started quoting Scripture, their JW prison guards threatened to call the police on me for interacting with my family on Facebook, and demanded that I never contact my family ever again!!

They finally prevailed upon my family to permanently block me from ever again having any contact with my family on Facebook or the internet.

Although we too believe "the Seven Spirits" represent the holy spirit, we do not share the Trinity based opinion that the holy spirit is a person.

but Revelation tells us who the Spirit, the Holy Spirit is. just read all the 7... 7 letters to the churches and see who is addressing them all, the Lord Jesus right, well he's the revelation, see how all the letters ends.... we'll give you the first church, Revelation 2:7 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." the Spirit? I thought it was the Lord Jesus who is addressing all the churches. just look at how all the 7 churches are address by who and see how all 7 churches are ended, by WHO.

In the name of the Lord Jesus you're welcome. a little bit of information that also may help you.
the seven Spirit are the Seven "GIFTS" that are listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8 - 10 but are of the same Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:7 "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal."
1 Corinthians 12:8 "For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;"
1 Corinthians 12:9 "To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;"
1 Corinthians 12:10 "To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:"
1 Corinthians 12:11 "But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will."

here's a breakdown of these gifts,
Gift #1. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
(this is the Pastoral Gifts, both go together, (see Jeremiah 3:15)

Gift #2. 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; (always wondered why some people faith is stronger than others? it's a gift)

Gift #3. to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

Gift #4. 10 To another the working of miracles;

Gift #5. to another prophecy; (the office of prophets, as Paul was alao, see 1 Corinthians 13:2)

Gift #6. to another discerning of spirits;

Gift #7 to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: (also these to go hand in hand also, see acts chapter 2)

so the Seven Spirit are the Gifts of "ONE" same self Spirit.... the Lord Jesus, again see John chapter 14.
