Gosh, I wonder who started these threads?

Your job is to make everyone else positive......good luck!

Good luck is right, LoL. Actually, I may need more than luck. I may need prayer.

But at least I can laugh about it.

I'm already back to posting pictures.... old habits die hard, I guess.

I only started 6 threads, but a recent one I started wasn't noted. Boo! Hiss! I am not good at starting threads... Folks just don't respond. Guess it's just not my talent.

Me too. I have tried to start threads which will endure...but only a few of them got off the ground...the other fell on the floor and rolled under the couch. :D

I just counted ...and amazed to find I have started 102 threads !!
That just goes to show what a bad thread starter I am haha!!
Not many had more than about 10-7 responses. :)

You have been greatly missed. ( or has it been me who has been missing? )

I was going to drop you a line to see how you are doing these days.

Hope all is going well.

Good to see you again! :)

I think new threads are needful on here.
Some of the old threads ( which is most) have hundreds of posts in them ...and I find boring...so many of the posts are very repetitive..same old people arguing their point of view and wish to have the last say.

So, when I come on here, I always look for the threads which have the least amount of responses...first.

I think Willie started this because he was being accused of only coming here to cause problems , and how he never started his own threads, and how he was always negative !
Its funny how some people come here and fail to see the whole picture

Thank you, sister! Nice to be back. :) Yeah, I just needed some time away. He showed me some wonderful things while I was gone; stronger teachings than I've ever received before, and they kinda came out of nowhere.

So anyway, yeah. Hopefully I get to stick around for awhile now. I love being with my community and my friends again : )

I prefer shorter/newer threads myself as well. The minute I see a 50 page thread, I think "What's the use? How in the world can I catch up on 50 pages worth of responses to something?" So I just avoid them and move on to something I might actually stand a chance of being up-to-date on.

Son of a gun! And I thought I was just told I never started any threads, and that I was always negative in anything I posted. I must have missed the negativity in all those threads. (27 threads? I think that averages out to a taste more than one a month.)

The following should have been sufficient to WHOMEVER, said (" you never started any threads, and was always negative"),
AND given You cause to conclude they are just a bag of hot air!

Actually, it also involves stroking people's fur the wrong way as well, or just a little anyway. You're almost guaranteed to get a response if you "drum up" interest by ending it with a theological cymbal crash to someone's face, LoL.

Albeit "unintentionally," of course.
That's true, and there are those who will make themselves controversial to get affirmations (pos or neg).

I like to drop in to see what the discussion has turned into, since odds are the thread's been hijacked by then!

Yeah. Controversy merely for controversy's sake is just incitement, or someone looking for attention.

I'm talking more about tipping over the sacred cows of people whose theology is (unfortunately) woefully "off base."

Like my cow picture? I bet Chic Fillet could use an image like that.

I would email it to their Ad execs... only it smacks of Hinduism, so I guess that rules it out. What a shame.
Well, I don't know about the picture. But when one becomes a bit more pointed in one's posts, hoping to draw another out, it can get one ignored.

Much love!
