Great point, me too, ...but then why is everyone claiming to hear divine voices, have inspired dreams, or see epiphanies?Yeah, I know a lot of Christians. They are the ones I was speaking of when I said I get tired of one thing from their mouths and another thing from their behavior.
And don't get me started on the friend who goes to a church (supposedly) where they call the preacher "the apostle." I asked her had she seen him raise the dead or heal the lame. She said no, so I asked then why they called him the apostle.
I want to see the power of God, but just because I don't doesn't make me think there is no power. It just makes me think we are the church in Rev that Jesus says is almost dead.
This is the whole crux of my contention. ...but it seems that you still want to insist that your dream had some profound and inspired meaning behind it. Read the cereal box one day, tell me if you can't fine a 'divine' message from it, seriously (you know what I mean).
