I guess than you missed this bit
1Jn_2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
No, I didn't miss it, and was waiting rather impatiently for someone to bring it up!
Whom did John the Baptist teach by? Or Peter? Or Paul? Were they not teaching by the spirit of truth? They were men but it wasn't their teaching.
Gal_1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
And yet he, as a man passed it on to the Galatians.
He, Matthew, Mark, Like, John, James, Peter and Jude are the authors of the NT. They were all under inspiration of the Holy Ghost but we're all men. They were the voice or the pen and paper. Yet they did so by the Holy spirit and told of men who spoke with their mouth to other men. They also spoke by the Spirit.
It's a powerful thing. And real. But gosh... There are more folks around these days on the interney that the holy spirit directly teaches then we're were Christian's in 50 AD!
Joh_16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Yep... And he did so in Biblical says through the voice and Pen of Matthew, Mark Luke, John, Paul....
Again, you are trying to Trump scripture with scripture. What can you do with Eph 4:11-12? I say that was the Holy Spirit not teaching man's doctrine but through men. I can harmonize those verses.
Don't Trump scripture with scripture... Tell me what Eph 4 means if we don't need them.
