Picture this in your mind if you will, the scene at Matthew 13:55-57
Matthew 13:55 "Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
Matthew 13:56 "And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
Matthew 13:57 "And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
note what the scriptures said, is this not the carpenter's son? identifying Joseph who was not there physically, and his mother “called” Mary, meaning she was not there either physically present, now watch this, and his “BRETHREN” ….. who was present, now the question is this, is this his brethren by blood of the same Parent Morther or father or meaning kin? like in a cousin or cousins. if so this leaves the door open to the other James of Zebedee as the Lord's brother.
