I didn't understand why he used the word "sarcasm." Who or what was he being "sarcastic" about? Had the news media proposed outlandish cures so Trump was mocking them?
They may get tired of it eventually. I didn't see the need for anyone trying to apologize or defend him. He makes silly remarks frequently enough that we should be used to it by now. Why try to defend every little thing he says? Why get partisan and bitter? He is what he is. Get used to it.

The parent company of Lysol and another disinfectant warned Friday that its products should not be used as an internal treatment for the coronavirus after President Donald Trump wondered about the prospect during a White House briefing.
Isn't that what the Trump supporters here were saying Friday (that Trump was just wondering about the prospect)?
Trump noted Thursday that researchers were looking at the effects of disinfectants on the virus and wondered aloud if they could be injected into people, saying the virus “does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”
Sounds again like the apologetics Trump supporters here have been promoting.

Instead of just spamming links, how about quoting from the articles and showing where they actually say Trump told people to inject Lysol?
It's an excuse/lie he's used before. His supporters bought it, so why not use it again? He doesn't care if everyone else sees right through it, as long as his base laps it up he's satisfied.
IMO they'll never get tired of it for two reasons....he's giving them what they want politically and their realization of what the alternative is if he loses.

The title of the article infers that Trump made the accusation. This implies what is not true. It is intentional, not just bad journalism!
Did Trump raise the idea to inject disinfectants in a way that suggested doing so, specifically Lysol, without a doctors care or advise?
This time, read the title of the article with your eyes open.
Same question....where specifically did they say Trump told people to inject Lysol? Are you ever going to actually quote any of these articles, or are you just deflecting because you can't back up your claim (but can't admit it either)?
Such a diversion does not support the claim that Fake News didn't skew his initial remarks and lie, does it!
Accusation? Huh? The title says Trump raised the idea. Are you now disputing that he even mentioned the idea of internal use of disinfectants?

I read the whole thing. It never said anything about Trump telling people to inject Lysol. In fact, they quote him verbatim.
"The frantic reaction was prompted by President Trump’s suggestion on Thursday at a White House briefing that an “injection inside” the human body with a disinfectant like bleach or isopropyl alcohol could help combat the virus."
Claim backed... again.
If you are not going to read the articles and look for the bias and false inferences, implications and claims that Trump said to take disinfectants internally, why should I post them?

Actually, -- speaking of toilet paper --, I have some 1,000 rolls of the premium Charmin Ultra Strong 4x in the cabin "pantry" (probably closer to 1,300). -- Did you need some? ;)
I also have some "Augason Farms" food buckets, and some "Keystone" canned beef. But just as important, I have SPAM for the "needy". And where we saw "shortages" over this Wuhan Virus, this is just a fore-runner. So I'd advise everyone to fill their "pantry" now, because in a year to a year and a half from now we'll need it.

That's not "telling people to inject Lysol". Here is what he said...

Are you actually disputing that that constitutes a suggestion that injecting disinfectants could help with the virus? Yes or no.
So far, because it's kind of funny to see you trying to spin this.

After you try the "Keystone" 28oz canned beef (available at W/M, -- but don't use their search, use GOOGLE to access directly) you'll ALSO be giving the SPAM away.
They say "food fatigue" leads to starvation, when you can't look at another serving of beans and rice. So store the GOOD STUFF, because there will be plenty of other challenges you'll need to deal with! :)

Amen! People need to hear the background of what Trump had been talking about with the doctors, prior to his briefing with the fake news media. Its all about missed word placement and/or wrong word selection.
