What does water baptism have to do with the blood of Christ? Water baptism is the womb of one's mother. Without it, no one would exist. It is the blood of Jesus, the Atonement that is the new bith, and Jesus did that task for the whole world. Very few want to accept that fact, compared to the billions who try religion or their own filthy works.
No son of man may die for another's sins; the life that sins, dies

Martin Luther came with questions and was rejected to be heard.
Martin Luther was then given audience to be heard...
Booted out for questioning, testing, and not simply yielding to men's claims.

I don't find testing an other as Deception.
What I do find as cunningly deceptive is the man at the head of the Table, sitting in a seat of power, thinking himself ABOVE being "tested".

1 Thes 5:
[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Glory to God,
Taken
I am certain that I have my teaching from heaven.”

“Whoever teaches differently from what I have taught herein, or condemns me for it, he condemns God, and must be a child of Hell.”

“…so that whoever does not accept my teaching, cannot be saved…Therefore, my judgment is at the same time God’s and not mine.” Martin Luther

Nothing self deceptive in those quotes from the man at the head of the table?

The point is - you DO follow men.

If you belong to ANY faith tradition that has roots in the Protestant Revolt of the 16th century - you follow men.
If you adhere to Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone) - you follow men.
If you believe in the 16th century invention of Sola Fide (Faith Alone) - you follow men.

NEITHER of these human precepts were taught or believed in by the Early Church - nor were they believed for the first 1500 years of the Church's existence. The Canon of Scripture wasn't even declared until the Council of Rome in 382 AD by the Catholic Church.

Don't believe me?
Do the research . . .

Edit: I think I was a bit too curt. Sorry BOL. But I do still think you are avoiding the points of this thread. This is not about Protestant and/ or Catholic beliefs. Who is right or wrong or roots of it all. This is about the enemy infiltrating the Catholic church leadership today and more in the coming years.

I think you are avoiding the real points of this thread. I see right past your sarcastic responses and hope you do your own research into this matter. Have a nice day BreadOfLife.
My responses aren't "sarcastic". They are factual - UNLIKE the topic of this thread, which is nothing but another unsubstantiated smear.
Even the "pro-Catholic" ChurchMilitant.com video doesn't claim that this is factual - and they spend ALL of their time smearing the Church.

YOU should be more concerned as to why you believe in the things that you do - when it can be shown that they were invented by mere men in the 16th century - and were NOT the teachings of the Apostolic and post-Apostolic Church.

From the beginning of my Reformation I have asked God to send me neither dreams, nor visions, nor angels, but to give me the right understanding of His Word, the Holy Scriptures; for as long as I have God's Word, I know that I am walking in His way and that I shall not fall into any error or delusion.

Martin Luther

And? You have an issue with that?

I already have spoken to Believing and Trusting God.

I do not subscribe to the man who sits at the head of the Catholic table...you know, tall hat, long robe, people bow to him, kiss his ring, call him their holy father.

Like I've told you many times before:
Let me know when you're ready to debate the perverted doctrines of your paramilitary cult "aggressivechristianity.net."

So far - you've managed to dodge the subject like a scared rabbit runs from a gun . . .
Please BOL when you run out of your foolish accusation, we know who the accuser is do we not,

Have you nothing to say, have you run out of lies, is it all you have now, Ill beat him over the head till he goes away, You have nothing BOL,

If anyman offends one of these little ones, it would be better he wear a millstone around his neck and he be cast into the sea.

Have lovely day

WHO said forgiveness for sin was bought with money?? The Catholic Church has never taught this. It was an ABUSE by a few men like Johann Tetzel in Germany. That's who Luther was angry with.
Do your homework, pal . . .

WHO said? DUH!
Luther said Tetzel and others did.
LOL
WHO said the church taught that? DUH
No one.
LOL

As for celibacy of clergy and religious - this is not only NOT condemned in Scripture - it's recommended.
Have you NEVER cracked open a Bible?? In 1 Cor. 7, Paul actually recommends celibacy for those who are capable of it:

So? Obviously Promising and Doing is a long ongoing, issue among catholic priests and nuns, once a guarded secret, but no more.

“To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is well for them to remain single as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to be aflame with passion.”

He goes on to make a case for preferring celibacy to marriage:
1 Cor. 7:27-34
[/QUOTE]

Pretty sure that DID NOT include, making a false claim, being ordained and then secretly moving about in love affairs, homosexual encounters, molesting little boys, and tuned into pornography.

Finally – he says:
1 Cor. 7:38
“He who marries “does well; and he who refrains from marriage will do BETTER.”

LOL

As to YOUR claim that Jesus said His Church was built on "belief" - NOWHERE doe the Bible make this claim.

LOL... I said Jesus Church is established upon "Belief Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God!"
(Quote me instead of speaking for me!)

Even the Demons believe in the truths about God.

But it's still a mystery to you.

Finally - as to your laughable claim about Protestant "unity" among the tens of thousands of sects - I gave you a list of 11 essential doctrinal differences that say differently . . .

Finally...AGAIN? LOL

Believing Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. All in unity, "in Christ." Members of Christ's Spiritual Church.

And you are in Unity with men calling themselves catholic, with your own holy father, and One main church named in honor of an Earthly man...whoopee!

Do you believe God spoke to Luther?

I believe Luther saw an atrocity and addressed it.

I believe Luther saw the Priesthood as honorable, found dishonorable men were among the Peiesthood.

I believe Luther became disgusted to the Popes reaction regarding dishonorable men.

I believe Luther changed his direction of listening to men and began listening to God.

Yes, I believe God is Big enough and Powerful enough to communicate to men.

Relax...I am a Christian....but I am more than that .....I am a child of God, the righteousness of God through Jesus, a joint-heir
Definition:
Chris·tian
/ˈkrisCHən/

adjective
  1. relating to or professing Christianity or its teachings.
    "the Christian Church"
noun
  1. a person who has received Christian baptism or is a believer in Christianity.
Their is only one point that I am making, the word God ? can be miss interpreted. so when one says God to me, it could mean nothing, because they do not know God, but when they say Jesus Christ ? well no one can mistake that.
The Word Christian should never be mistaken, even tho many clearly are not.
