You missed the point, He was using the OT to explain to the"pahrriesees " who He was and for all they had few accepted Him, Now we have Gods Spirit, you know this bit,
Yea That's right! He didn't discard the OT, he relied on it and taught it to his disciples. There is no way to use any of this discourse to support any notion, if you have such, to dismiss scripture when Jesus obeyed it, was prophecies in it and taught it.
Joh_16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
I've already explained this...
but people still stuck in the old.
That's interesting, because there came a new... Yet you completely seem to be discarding that based on your perception of what Jesus said.
How do you thing Paul learned of the things of God "without" a bible.
Paul already new the scriptures before he was called. Yes, he called it dung... But not because it was (otherwise, why did he teach from it?).
Paul received many things from Christ, but let's not forget that he spoke at length with Peter as well. Furthermore, we cannot look at Paul's education by revelation as ours. I have brought this up before.... If everyone was to receive the revelation in the same manner as Paul, why did he even have a ministry? Why did he have to labor to travel and teach others? Why do you have to quote him if God did the same for you?
Jesus in the spirit revealed himself to Paul, and Paul was commissioned to reveal Christ to others. Christ chose not to reveal himself to everyone directly as he did to Paul... He did to Paul and let him reveal Jesus.
Rom_8:14 For as many as are led by
I know that "bit" very well... Are you going to rely on this verse as inspired when in the same book Paul says faith comes by hearing and how can you hear without a preacher?
He didn't say faith comes by the Holy Spirit whispers sweet nothing to you directly:. You need a preacher.
Yes, we are Children of God because we are left by his spirit. The difference between us is I believe, as does the Bible, that it is done through the Bible and those who teach it. You seem (as far as I can tell) to believe it's what God tells you personally without regard to the Bible. That would not only make you a prophet, but a very unique one as none of the other prophets disregarded the Bible.
Or did the Holy Spirit leave Paul when he wrote that?
I am formally withdrawing my question as to whether the Spirit can contradict scripture. I see no future in your answering it anyway.
