Oh right near the redwoods actually, that got locked down hahahha.

Redwoods, had to look it up cos i never heard of it... Ah it's just east of Warburton.
That would be nice there, ur so on the edge of the bush ur basically in the bush. Only downside is the summer fire hazard

So u must either be on one of those farms or that last little suburban stronghold before the bush proper

I was born and raised around the north western outer burbs around the airport

... and maybe you have a different agenda -- like excusing someone who has EARNED the penalty of the law, just because he "accepted Jesus". And don't get me wrong, -- the thief on the cross was FORGIVEN, but he still paid the penalty of DEATH for his transgression.

You avoid NT like plague because no Christian in the NT killed anyone. Christians love their enemies as Jesus COMMANDED. They don't MURDER them!

You don't know what you speak of either in Revelation or the New Testament.

But you sure have a LOT of THEORIES, SUPPOSITIONS, POSTULATIONS, and IGNORANCE.

Murder is taking the life of an innocent victim....capital punishment is the result of that person who kills innocent people out of lust or greed or hate.

To All,

Ignorant people make IGNORANT DOCTRINES. An example is one Denomination where they don't have MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS because it's NOT MENTIONED in the New Testament.

But IGNORANT people are even MORE IGNORANT than that Denomination because the SWORD IS MENTIONED in the New Testament for THE GOVERNMENT:

Rom. 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of him who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain; he is the servant of God to execute his wrath on the wrongdoer.

So then the IGNORANT person insists that the Government's guidance DOES NOT APPLY TO THE CHRISTIAN. But it DOES:

Lke 22:35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.

And where virtually EVERY VEHICLE carries a SPARE TIRE, -- WE DO NOT CARRY THE SPARE TIRE IN VAIN. We certainly don't pull to the side of the road to "rotate our tires", -- WE ONLY pull to the side of the road to CHANGE A FLAT TIRE. And so WE DO NOT CARRY THE SWORD IN VAIN.

But Scripture and common sense have little use for IGNORANT PEOPLE, because they're really not IGNORANT, -- as the saying goes:

Ignorance can be cured, but stupidity is forever.

But of such are the religious.

So you KNOW who is guilty and who is innocent? Are you God?

It's really sad to see "Christians" looking for excuses to kill people.

Should there be a death penalty Yes or No?
God says that the "death penalty" will be the norm, but He is able to maneuver past that if He is so inclined [Acts of the Apostles 12].

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities.
For there is no authority except from God,
and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God,
and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.

Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?
Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.

For he is God’s minister to you for good.

But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain;
for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil." Romans 13:1-4 NKJV

If someone kills an innocent person he isn't gonna be smiling on Judgment Day!

James 2:13
13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Matthew 5:7
7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.

Seriously you need to grow up a little more before trying to have an adult conversation.....
How does the definition I gave relate to me being God?
If you have anything to do with killing a person you'd better be God. Christians don't kill anyone!

And you clearly sidestepped the question!

"So you KNOW who is guilty and who is innocent?"

Oh, yes, they do. A Christian police officer who kills in the line of duty is an example of Romans 13:4,

"For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil."

(We want Christians in those positions. They tend to be more discerning.)

You want Christians killing people? Oh my! Personally I would rather obey Jesus.

Matthew 5:39
39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person.

Oh and God uses evil people to punish other evil people. Now you know!

The reason why Peter had a sword in the Garden of Gethsemane was because Jesus told him to bring it. (It just wasn't the appropriate time to use it.)
Personally I would rather obey Jesus.
(Here's your opportunity...)

"Then He said to them,
'But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack;
and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.
For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me:
‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.'

So they said, 'Lord, look, here are two swords.'

And He said to them, 'It is enough.' ” Luke 22:36-38 NKJV

ONLY to fulfill prophecy! Jesus told them to NOT use them.

Matthew 26:52
52 But Jesus said to him, "Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.
