No, I don’t “see” what you mean.

Did you know you are repeating a 500 year teaching of the Protestant revolution? Why don’t you follow what The Church has taught for 2,000 years: it IS His body, just like He said it was?
A feast is the original pascha custom in the 1st century per 1 Cor 11.

All this time you thought the early church(original Apostles) were in robes giving the poor, chalk drops issued from who knows where?

Just when did this feast end?

I just betcha the KJV translators were speaking of this pascha feast of 1 Cor 11 when they named it "Easter" in Acts also.

OK...you don’t believe what he said. I, and billions of other Christians, do believe what He said when he said This IS my body!
Did you know the O.T. pascha lamb in every home every year represented the body of Jesus too?

Were the Jews eating Jesus literally too, or was it symbolic and a memorial?

Jesus said it was a memorial, not a cannibalistic ritual.

Jesus would have never agreed to be literally digested, that is why he returns as the Holy Ghost to infill us.

Don't bite Jesus, okay?

Thank you.

Ignatius of Antioch wrote around A.D. 107 that the Church was Catholic. So I will pretend with you that The Church was not called ‘Catholic’ and was “nameless” until several hundred years later.

What happened to all those “nameless church(es)” (Jerusalem, Antioch etc.) when Constantine came into power and ‘created' the Catholic Church? Did they fold into this ‘new’ Roman Catholic Church? Or did they keep their own identity with their own doctrine seperate from the ‘new’ Catholic Church?

In your opinion what current church, in the year 2020, duplicates the same doctrine and experience of the church starting in Acts 2?
Is that fella's original writings considered "holy writ", and are his originals still available, and are you 100% sure some priest hundreds of years later didn't make this stuff up?

Some folks will believe anything ancient that is extra Biblical as God's word.

No – but being a student of the apostle John and a martyr for Christ – he knew the Gospel in a more intensely intimate way that YOU ever will, given your spiritual pride and abject ignorance of Chhrist. He’s not infallible – he is a 1st century Bishop of Christ’s church and a historical witness to HOW the faith was practiced back then.

And, WHO said that the Eucharist is a “replacement” for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit??

Certainly NOT the Catholic Church – sooooo, NOT really sure where you’re getting YOUR “fake” news . . .

Finally – as to the 16th century man-made invention of “Sola Scriptura that you so proudly hail – how about showing us where the Bible makes this claim. Please show me – FROM SCRIPTURE – where Scripture is our “Sole” Authority.

If you can do that – I will leave the Catholic Church today and join YOUR sect.
One thing at a time here.

Do you eat Jesus weekly or are you infilled with Jesus once?

I receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist as often as I go to mass.
1 Cor. 11:26
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

I am also indwelt with the Holy Spirit.

Can you show me where the Bible says:
"You must ONLY receive the Lord ONCE i your lifetime"??

IF you can show me this - I will leave the Catholic Church TODAY with my family and join YOUR sect.
If you can't show me this - then YOU need to admit you're wrong.

WRONG, Einstein.

The Paschal Lamb was an OT TYPE - a shadow of things to come. The REALITY is Christ (Col. 2:16-17).
He is the Lamb of GOD, who is the FULFILLMENT of the Paschal Lamb.

STUDY your Bible, sparky . . .

The very SAME Catholic scribes who copied down the original manuscripts of Holy Scripture down through the centuries are the SAME guys who copied down the writings of the Early Church Fathers like Ignatius of Antioch and Clement of Rome.

That pretty much SINKS your argument, Einstein . . .

Sola scriptura simply means no commentary.

Scripture will save you but commentary can damn you.
You have never give commentary on Scripture in this forum???

No, is his name in the scripture?
Are the Protestant men that you read to form your opinion on Scripture "in Scripture"?

Did you know Clements letters were read as Scripture in the early Church right alongside the letters of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John?

Did you know when The Church was deciding what books should be in the bible that you read many Church Elders made the argument that his letters should be included in Scripture.

I am trying to figure out why you have chosen the name "Truther" when you are in fact a denier of (or refuse to learn) your own Christian history. You should change your name...

I only quote scripture and make folks read it.

I say "look"..!

I don't interpret it for them.
Oh goodness.....I just did a search of your recent posts. You are not an honest person.

Have a good day...

The chalk drop is Christ?

I thought the baptism of the Holy Ghost is how we get Christ in us.

I see, the RCC teaches that since they don't have to in one event, be in Christ's body, then they substitute it with eating His body weekly.

You are a dishonest person who has no desire to learn your own Christian history.

Peace be with you!

Do you re-receive Christ every Sunday when you eat Him?

I received Him per the baptism of the Holy Ghost once and for all in 1979.

I now celebrate the death of Christ(pascha feast) as often as I will.

It is the Christian version of the Jewish pascha feast.

The early church was assigned to share their food, not hoard it and leave other saints hungry, making this sacred feast a mortal sin to them.

If the RCC was truly God's church, they would all be dead for substituting the feast for chalk.
