Before I start I would like to explain the Hebrew "world" a little bit to make it clearer why the name Jesus is an empty and dead name. The names of the Hebrews and so also God are not names as we imagine them today, today names are seen as "number plates" to identify a person, nothing more, but in the Hebrews names reflected the person (or to make a statement), in other words, every name had a meaning, and these names were therefore words. I give an example: a woman cannot get pregnant, she prays to have a child, God fulfils her wish, and this mother then calls her son "God's gift" because God has given her a son. Imagine that something like this would happen today, a woman would call her son "God's gift", people would think she is crazy, or have you ever met a person called "God's gift"? But that was the way it was with the Hebrews. This name was a statement, but there are also names that reflect a person, for example Adam, Adam is not an English name, it is a Hebrew name and means "man" in English, yes, because the first man is a man, God called him man.
Now to the name Jesus which is derived from the Greek name Iesous, Iesous is considered as a translation of the Hebrew name, but I tell you that this statement is NONSENSE, why? Because this name does not reflect the meaning that it should. We all know that the name of the Messiah in Hebrew is Yehoshua, this name consists of two words, the first word is Yeho (Yeho actually consists of two words that mean "Will be" and "is", these are supposed to represent the eternity of God, so I present them here as one word, namely "Eternal") which means "Eternal" and the second word is shua which means "Savior", so the name means "The Eternal is Savior" this would be the english name for the messiah. But the name Iesous does not contain this meaning at all, it not only does not contain the meaning, it is even of pagan origin, see:

“It is known that the Greek name endings with sus, seus, and sous were attached by the Greeks to names and geographical areas as means to give honor to their supreme deity, Zeus."
Dictionary of Christian Lore and Legend

"In the 1611 KJ New Testament the name Yahusha appeared originally wherever the Messiah was spoken of. Yahusha means “Yahuah is Salvation”. Later the Messiah's name was replaced with Iesus (Greek) which later in the 1600's it became Jesus starting with the new English letter "J" which was introduced at that time. Further, the Greek "Iesus" comes from the name Zeus, the ruling God in the Greek pantheon."

The Greatest in the Kingdom
…48And He said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes Me, and whoever welcomes Me welcomes the One who sent Me. For whoever is the least among all of you, he is the greatest.” 49“Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in Your name, and we tried to stop him, because he does not accompany us.” 50“Do not stop him,” Jesus replied, “for whoever is not against you is for you.”…

THIS IS PURE UNADULTERATED NONSENSE.

Here is what we find in the Greek New Testament starting at Matthew 1:1: βιβλος γενεσεως ιησου χριστου υιου δαβιδ υιου αβρααμ.

The book of the generation (γενεσεως) of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

That name is transliterated as Iēsou Christou and translated as "of Jesus Christ". As you can see that is exactly how the Greek name of Jesus was written. Even though the Hebrew name is Yeshua/Yahshua or Yehoshua.
And since the New Testament was given by divine inspiration, to suggest that Iesous is of pagan origin is total rubbish.

Furthermore, the King James Bible has correctly said "generation" rather than "genealogy" (as do the modern versions). Those are two different Greek words. The Greek for genealogy is γενεαλογία.

So it looks like we have another false teacher among us.

Just like in Athens , in the NT, and other cities,
to find a true teacher required seeking for one of the few,
while the false teachers were and are many.

Totally subject to being proven by testing, in line with all Scripture, as written -

the descriptions, tests, instructions, of all Scripture , as Directed by the Father, as Revealed Freely and with Joy to His Little Children ....

The ancient Greeks removed the true names and added their own pagan names, so the New Testament has been partially changed.

"The Greek practice of changing personal names, of removing the abbreviated forms of rival deities by exchanging them with the abbreviated forms of their main god Zeus, can already be seen in the changes in the Hebrew prophets. The Greek approach was simple. They simply replaced those words that referred to the Hebrew Almighty with names or letters that referred to their supreme deity - Zeus. The name Jesus was thus formed from two words: "Ie" and "Sous". Now there was a God in the Trinity of Babylon whose name was "Ie" (God of Salvation). Zeus was both the supreme god and the Greek saviour. "Ie" coupled with "Sous" (the final part of Zeus) gives the Greek form of Iesous "the reconciling Zeus", now called Jesus in English."
George Campbell, The four Gospels, Translated from the Greek with Preliminary Dissertations, and Notes Critical and Explanatory, Bd. 1, London 1834, S. 166

And remember that the name "Jesus" does not have the meaning of "save" in Hebrew, Greek or Latin, but according to the bible, this name should be related to the name of the Father as well as to the attribute of salvation. This would be "Aionios Lytrotes" in Greek.

Yahushua does mean in every language "Yahweh's Salvation" and in the original languages was frequent throughout Scripture.

As a Name or Word, "Jesus" does not carry the same meaning, unless or except in Spirit and /or in Truth...

In His Name is All Authority Given, in Heaven and on earth, over every other name.... as written...

More pagan nonsense from you. God the Holy Spirit was fully aware of the advantages as well as any deficiencies in Greek. And it is God the Holy Spirit who caused the evangelists and apostles to write exactly what they wrote. So if the Greek form of Jesus is acceptable to God, who are you to question that? Unless you are working on behalf of the Enemy.

Just as English is the language of the world today, Greek was the language of the Roman world of that time. Therefore, rather than having the New Testament written in Hebrew (which would have been perfectly acceptable since all the writers were Hebrews (including Luke, who was a Hellenistic Jew), God chose to have it written in Greek. Not even Aramaic was chosen as the language of divine inspiration though Jesus and His apostles used it daily. Later on the Greek was translated into Syriac (a form of Aramaic) in order to produce the Syriac Peshitta.
So what is your point?
His point is to simply manufacture another false narrative and undermine the New Testament.
