Can you explain what you mean by a spirit body? As I say, I don't think this idea comes from the Bible.
When Jesus resurrected from the dead, He became the First New Immortal Creation, being alive and
sustained forevermore by the Spirit of God and not by blood.
Luke 24[
38] And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
[
39] Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see;
for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
[
40] And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
[
41] And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
[
42] And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
[
43]
And he took it, and did eat before them.
John 20[
24] But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
[
25] The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
[
26] And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
[
27] Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and
reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
[
28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
[
29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Acts 1[
9] And when he had spoken these things,
while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
[
10]
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
[
11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?
this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
