I find it very hard to love God and to have faith that he will answer prayers and fix the really bad things. Some of the major big reasons I have been finding it hard to love and have faith include: How can I love him and have faith

- When he keeps allowing me to suffer the ringing sound from the neighbours heat pump which goes all day and night every day and night for over 3 years now and is impossible to block out of ears with plugs because the type of sound it is it penetrates regardless. (No it is definitely real external sound not tinnitis or hallucination.)

- When he keeps allowing me (and others) to be forced to eat and drink fluoridated water (and food) every mouthful every meal every day for years with me suffering the brain and body ability and health harms and hinderances all day every day. Not only has he not answered my appeals but he allowed them to do the exact opposite and this countries goverment is one of the only countries governments in the world to be pushing mandatory fluoridation even more and more in the last couple of years and present. (No it is not so simple and easy to "get a water filter" as people believe.) (Also when he allows them to spray fruit and vegetables.)

- When he allows me to have been made now 47 and still always been single (and also some other christian men I know are also old and single). (While he gave Abraham 3 wives, Jacob 4, David 12, Solomon 600, Ahasuerus 2 (and a harem full), Derek Prince 2 or more, etc.)

- When my historical discoveries all keep getting unfairly/dishonestly denied by "experts" and everyone else no matter how much hard work I put in. That they keep power by using such unfair/untrue cunning "clever" tactics. And when he for so long keeps allowing them to get away with lies that the bible history is not true, and he never defends his own bible.

- When he allowed me to get put under the mental health act compulsory treatment order and has allowed them to keep me under it for over a year now and allowed them to apply for indefinite period with the psychiatrist having written outright lies in the court report.

- When many other christians i have seen/heard are also suffering things (though alot of them not as bad things as me), while the evil elite keep getting away when doing evil things. When no christians like disabled or sick with things like cancer are healed. My mother is a believer yet she got lung cancer and then brain cancer etc.

- When I am stuck trapped in a bad accomodation situation not being able to find a place to shift to because of the "housing crisis" and because prices and rents are too excessively expensive.

- When I have forever lost so much: I lost 15 years studies notes in a crisis a number of years ago, and it is impossible to ever recover anymuch of what I lost. Being 47 and always-been-single I've forver missed out on young love (20s & 30s) (unless there is marriage in the millenium? But we don't know that for sure and he says the resurrected are like the angels and don't marry?)

Quite a few more troubles reasons too.

I know that some people in world & history have suffered some worse things (though not many in the bible seem to have), and that things could be even worse, but things are or have been pretty hell bad enough.

What James says in James 1 about we can't expect anything from God if we don't have faith without wavering always bothers me and I always keep feeling/wonderin if that is the reason why he hasn't answered for so long and seems as if he may never answer.

I guess people won't be able to help much, and I know me posting this probably won't help. But maybe someone might know something that could help abit or maybe my own difficulty will help someone else. I have tried reading bible and praying etc but seems not much use if can't have faith and control mouth. Sometimes people make me feel as if it is my fault for supposedly not doing things but I can't see there is very much I can do in my difficult situation.

Faith begins with a choice. A choice to give thanks for ALL things. Thank God for the noise, for the water, for everything. Become a thankful person in your affliction knowing that God is trying to save you for eternity not give you a 5 star vacation. Start with faith and obedience.

1 Thess. 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

rejoice in the Lord always. ...and again I say rejoice.

He knows and sees opression and has equipped us with weapons of warfare through faith and prayer, praise and thanksgiving to exercise ourselves unto godliness.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2 Cor 10:4-5

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Ps 100:4

...For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love." 2 Peter 2:5-7

Happy is the man who has not followed the counsel of the wicked, or taken the path of sinners, or joined the company of the insolent,
rather, the teaching of the LORD is his delight, and he studies that teaching day and night.
He is like a tree planted beside streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, whose foliage never fades, and whatever it produces thrives.

Not so the wicked; rather, they are like chaff that wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not survive judgment, nor will sinners, in the assembly of the righteous.

For the LORD cherishes the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed. Ps 1:1-6

Thanks but I don't think I can believe anymore. I have nothing to give thanks for (no wife, no children, no mental health allegedly, no house except a bad flat, no location, no brains (keep finding i am just a dumb idiot and made a fool of self), no clean water, no faith, no friends, not able to get out much, etc), only negatives. Only thing to thank for is that things are not even worse than they already are, but they are bad enough. I can't love a God that allows such mean cruel hell and forces such negatives. What has God done for me? Nothing. No guarantee even that I am/was saved, and even if I are/were this "life" here and now is hell until however many years I die. Its blackmail. Sure he will say I was "bad soil" but how much hell is enough?

The only reason I have to believe is negative fear of "hell" and fear of being blamed for not having faith.

If I have to give thanks for nothing then how much more should others who have far more than me (wives/husbands, love, families, children, clean water, houses, jobs, health, cars, faith, brains, location, friends, able to get out, etc)? Yet they don't act grateful.

We love because he first loved us, but I haven't seen any love in my ?life", only supposedly 2000 years ago on cross which doesn't seem to help here and now.

There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man's table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores.
Luke 16:19-21 ESV

What did Lazarus have to be thankful for? He appeared to be in even a worse condition that you are? The answer is found in the next verse.

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.

Lazarus was actually better off than the rich man because he believed in God and had eternal life. Have you ever repented of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ? If so you are just as well off as Lazarus was. Our material posessions and state are unimportant. The only thing that matters is our relationship with God.

No guarantee even that I am/was saved
I reread some of your posts after I made my previous post. If you don't know whether you are saved I suggest that you read 1 John.

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
1 John 5:13 ESV

It explains how you can know you are saved. If you find that you are not, you should read the gospel of John. It was written to show you how to be saved.

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
John 20:30,31 ESV

@Mosheli , I do not remember from your previous posts. Do you have a home church, or have you been trying to do it alone all this time?

No I don't have a home church. Firstly because I can't get out very much in this situation (which God seems to be saying through peoples posts that I just have to accept it), Secondly because churches don't allow us to join a home group without first being a regular sunday/saturday attender of their church, and thirdly because I don't like singing and am uncomfortable when others are standing singing and I am not, plus 4thly with covid at the moment. Also it hurts to mix with married people when I am single. And wouldn't they just say the same advice people have said here?

You value this life? This body? "Do not be concerned with what you eat or drink..." This body, this life is fleeting. The pain & suffering of this life is fleeting. We have a human perspective, not a Godly perspective. In God's eyes, your suffering is like that of a 3 year old who fell off his tricycle and skinned his knee; blood running down, he screams as if the life is coming out of him. The pain and the horror are terrible to that 3 year old. It is real pain and real horror, but the parent knows, the child is fine, the pain is minimal, but the distress is real. This is God's view of your suffering. In eternity, any pain you suffer now is as a millisecond in eternity. Human's have a great deal of difficulty viewing life from this perspective, we get attached to our suffering and believe it is personal. It is not personal, everyone suffers, some people suffer more than us, but experience less distress and some people suffer less than us but experience more distress. Be not concerned about the body or who can harm the body. Rather, be concerned about your soul.

While there is some truth to this and other posters similar advice it is not helping me but making me more hateful of God.
To be tortured by the ringing sound all day everyday for years is pretty unbearable. To be single and alone every day and night for decades/"life" is horrible. To be forced to eat fluoridated water/food every mouthful every day and suffer the brain/body ability/health slavery effects is pretty mean and cruel (the bible even agrees that Wormwood/blood water is the worst because it is the only plague it says "God is just"). To have to control my self while being tortured and slaved under threat of mental health act is awful.
It may be true that if and when we are in "eternity" after the end that this "life" will only have been be brief, but there are nevertheless things we can forever miss out on if we miss out on them in this "life". Eg they claim there is no marriage in "heaven".
So I am just supposed to not worry about fluoridation slavery ("don't worry about what you eat") and accept brain slavery?

BobbyJo you say "faith without works is dead". But I can't have faith when there is no guarantee that God will answer and fix any of the hell things I listed. And how long do I have to have faith for before he answer? And it is pretty mean for God to force me to have to have faith while suffering things like the ringing sound and fluoridation all day everyday. I have tried to have faith for years but nothing just same and worse situation.

Never mind sorry thanks for everyones advice. I don't want to drag this thread on. As always it seems I can't find answers like this. I had to try it though. It looks like God is forcing me to have to have faith amidst daily hell. I don't love him though.

The Bible says He gives each of us a measure of faith. So with what faith you do have try to stand on it and exercise it and let it grow.

No I don't have a home church. Firstly because...
That is a big part of your problem right there. You are trying to face the devil's army all by yourself. Without church, you have no training in that effort. And nobody has your back. You are outgunned.

"And [Jesus] Himself gave
  • some to be apostles,
  • some prophets,
  • some evangelists, and
  • some pastors and
  • teachers,
for the equipping of the saints (that's you!) for the work of ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ,..." Ephesians 4:11-12 NKJV

Without church, you are missing out on God's training for you to become a competent Christian in the face of adversity. Incompetent Christians are still saved, but they are easily overwhelmed by adversity (and constantly feel at a loss), but that isn't God's fault.
Secondly because churches don't allow us to join a home group without first being a regular sunday/saturday attender of their church, and thirdly because I don't like singing and am uncomfortable when others are standing singing and I am not, plus 4thly with covid at the moment. Also it hurts to mix with married people when I am single.
If one church doesn't work, try another one.
And wouldn't they just say the same advice people have said here?
Those that are willing could physically minister to you. Something we, on this side of the screen cannot do. If you need money or food other things, etc., God could put it on their heart to reach out to you. Or meet you in some other way. I've heard of some brothers who will fix up clunkers just to give them to the poor. God knows what your needs are, including the need to be encouraged. As He ministers to you, you may find that you have a talent to lend to others in need.

Even if you fix the fluoridation problem, you will still have all of these others. Set aside that issue for a while and let God make you into the man of God that He wants you to be.

Pray to Him....He will speak to you.
Thankyou sis for this loving kindness and care for mosheli.

If I might add, perhaps they would be interested in reading Prison to Praise by Merlin Carothers. It renewed my mind upon finishing reading it and I was tested immediately when the Lord put a situation in front of me and I had a nanosecond to decide if I would give Him thanks for it or gripe and complain, or get mad and angry.

Fortunately I chose to thank Him and when I did, I ended up praising Him, much to my surprise, and was ‘set free‘ like Paul and Silas in prison when they sang and gave praise to our Lord. There’s hidden treasure in His Word (s). He patiently waits for us to make that move towards Him.

Thank You Lord

Praise God! I discern our brother's problem is being very young in his walk with God...He hasn't experienced God's Mercy and Grace yet. I pray God will wrap His arms around Him and fill him with so much love that he can't ever wonder again.

Do you spend much time reading the Bible? When you read it you are actually listening to God's words. You can't find out what God wants unless you listen to what he says. He has promised that anyone who seeks him with his whole heart will find him.
