I think Trump only said that because he's trying to earn more brownie points from his supporters by mentioning God. It's similar to his "Two Corinthians" comment, his "Chosen One" remark and his photo-op of holding a Bible in front of a Church back in June. It's been interesting to watch some of his faithful pro-life supporters trying to spin what he said when his 'miracle cure' was developed with aborted fetal tissue.

Nine people who attended a campaign rally for President Trump in Bemidji, Minn., last month have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Doug Schultz, a Minnesota Department of Health spokesman, confirmed to The Hill that of the nine who contracted COVID-19, two have been hospitalized, one of whom required intensive care.

It is not immediately clear that the people contracted the virus at the rally. ​

I know a few conservatives who defiantly refused to practice social distancing and they threw a tantrum about wearing a mask. And now they've tested positive for COVID-19 and they're moaning about having the virus. Ironically, they aren't receiving much sympathy for their plight because they brought their suffering down upon themselves by being bull-headed and rebellious and refusing to take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously.

I'm not suprised to hear that he would behave in this manner and I'm relieved someone talked him out of it. If he had carried out this childish stunt, then other world leaders would laugh at him like they did at the UN and the NATO Summit. He is the President of the United States, for heaven's sake, not the president of the DC Comics fan club. He should uphold the dignity of the Oval Office and not embarrass the country.

Such inappropriate behavior, but not surprising for a man like him. A leopard doesn’t change its spots. Speaking as a woman, I wouldn’t want to be left alone with him. I would slap him if he tried to kiss me or if he made an inappropriate advancement on me.
