Currently hospitality venues may seat up to 20 people indoors and 50 people outdoors while religious gatherings are limited to 10 people outdoors or indoor services for one household.

Here in Victoria the evil one has had churches closed since March, considered non-essential... God is considered non-essential...

So then, what is essential here...
Well the bottle shop is essential cos we have to be able to access alcohol...
Injecting rooms have been open all this time... It is illegal to use drugs therefore our government supplies them with syringes and a safe place to inject their drugs...

Ok, so essential is alcohol and drugs... Non-essential is God... The last thing they want is pastors preaching sermons all over town... Some of these pastors might reveal too much...
The last thing they want is for us to congregate under God... Their the authority now...

The churches of Melbourne have been very patient with the Victorian government but now they've crossed the line... Most of the churches in Melbourne are now against the restrictions imposed by Daniel Andrews, including the RCC...

Don't get me wrong this isn't an innocent decision by the government... They have proven themselves to be anti-Christian on many occasion... They are evil to the core... They took bribes to lock up Cardinal George Pell... Their exposing kids to deviant LGBT lifestyles and prosecuting those that oppose it...

bandicam-2020-10-21-11-57-33-172.jpg

Man... There is a huge problem in Australia with child trafficking and Victoria is the worse... But does the media cover it... Nope... Not at all

So then, as a Catholic/Christian, my views on this lockdown are in line with the Archdiocese of Melbourne... And with most of the other churches on board it now becomes a choice... Trust the government and continue to support its decisions... Or support the Church

Nope, not "evil". They did what they did to keep people safe.

Unfortunately people have caught covid-19 from going to Church, that's a reason why they were closed.

At the moment Churches are now allowed outdoor services with a limited number of people, I believe the limit was increased from 5 to 10 on Monday.

They will return, when Covid is over.

I can't tell you what to do, I can tell you we told our Governor go poop his pants because we're meeting. What is going on is pure evil, Satan is definitely involved in what our Governor and your Dan are doing and many are welcoming that. Truly when Christ comes back will He find faith on earth. I do believe now the great apostasy has started under the guise of covid.

Your allegiance to the ALP is poisonous boy...
Now you're actually opposing the Church and have chosen to follow Andrews instead...

And wait till i crack open another massive scandal involving the Victorian government...

The Bible tells us where the two or three are gathered, and that includes the Holy Spirit, that can be done at home or anywhere. ;)

Like i said... You've chosen government over our church

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. - Hebrews 10:24-25

It's the same here in Washington, USA. We're stuck with online chats, and online services.

That clearly shows anti-Christian bias. And it has become blatant ever since the COVID Scamdemic was introduced. However, Christians should ignore this nonsense and also challenge it.

Ye there is just no logic here... 50 people allowed in a bar, drinking, eating, coming and going, interacting
But none allowed in a church where we just stay in the same spot and mostly

Yeah I think it's the tight seating, at the doctors there is a distance between seats that they allow. Some proximity fear of transmitting COVID.

I'm not a big fan of blocking people who want to congregate, because COVID isn't super deadly. And if they want to take chances, then allow them to do so, they should be free to choose. I can become a police officer and risk my life, I can parachute out of an airplane, I can climb cliffs and risk my life. I can race cars, drive motorcycles on the street, etc.

We had special hours for seniors and medically disadvantaged at our grocery stores. And that should be good enough to prevent the spread of the disease (along with masks). They even have my sister locked down who lives in an adult family care facility. And I think that is OK, cause the people in her place would die if they caught COVID. It's like an old folks home.

Washington state... That corner of the world is famous for being very progressive... True?

Well if you mean progressive as in Seattle city council de-funding the police, allowing BLM to riot in the cities, allowing Antifa to set up a tiny foreign country inside and occupy one of it's major cities, being a blue (democrat run) state, etc etc etc, then yes. Aaarrrgggh :(

What the... Didn't your state have that autonomous zone, Chaz...
Yet that same government came out with one of the most logical pieces of legislation that ive heard... Respect

They want to stop the spread among the people who aren't at risk cos they want to vax everyone...
At my age my immune system has a 99.95% chance of resisting it... Yet they want to stab me with a vax thats only 50% effective and will admittedly kill or maime almost a million healthy people... Thats not logical

I think there is still no indoor dining until after the weekend in Greater Melbourne, that includes restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes.

Ey don't be sad... We're worse in many ways... For example our conservative party has been cancelled... The left have a carte blanche...
Our lockdowns have been the longest and strictest in the western world... Curfews, can't travel more than 5kms, and our cases are a fraction of yours... They've even bordered our city calling it the "ring of steel"... Like the iron curtain... Anyone caught trying to defect will be fine 5k and sent to the gulag

Yes that's pretty much all true. But what happened in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon, is that they protested in front of public officials homes, and put the fear in them. So they, out of fear, allowed protesting and not church. At least that's what I could guess, and while it's only a guess, it's a logical one for me.
