Why is this forum full of so many hateful "Christians"?

I've never encountered anyone from the government who has told me they want me to die or the government wants me to die. The government is of the people, by the people, and for the people. I believe in the fundamental ideals of America, which are freedom, liberty, and justice for all.

Tell that to the 8 million dead babies. Justice? Some people have a very warped view of what the founding fathers thought. Historians can tell you what would happen to someone that wanted to kill babies back in those days.

If you see a member's name with a line through it that means they are banned for a certain amount of time because they exceeded the number of warnings allowed.
So if there are legitimate reports and the poster truly did break a forum rule then appropriate action is taken.
Sometimes a member reports a post when no rule has been broken.
It's a continuous process of dealing with the different beliefs among members from all over the world and from all different beliefs when they start arguing against each others beliefs.
Learning how to debate with others without becoming offended or offensive is what makes the forum so much more pleasant to be engaged in.

I believe a member that writes in the interfaith section of these boards has slipped below the moderators radar. I would suggest paying attention now! Have a good day.

I actually got more hate on the CF forum. I think I'm more conservative, and they support liberals. But I'm not totally conservative either.

Demonrats, children of Satan, baby butchers, Democrats will go to hell. I'm sure I could find more examples like these if I skimmed through the threads. I'm confident I would find several more in the "Is it a sin to vote for a Democrat?" thread. I'm not the only one who's spoken up there.

When I say "baby butchers" it is not meant as personal, just totally accurate. The truth can hurt!

I agree that Christians normally should be able to discuss topics in a civil manner....and God bless 'em, some are better at it it than me. But, on the other hand, we are on an Christian forum discussing if murdering babies is wrong. Discussing if roaming mobs of looting, burning and killing citizens and police is wrong. That is so far over the top, so far out of bounds that it challenges the ability of our language to describe it.

What more Satan driven activities could there possibly be? The Democrats even try to change our language...progressive means the movement to turn this country to communism. Peaceful protests mean looting, burning and murdering. Freedom and Liberty means the freedom to murder people, freedom means to murder babies, it is not called killing a baby, it is called abortion, freedom means to make drugs legal, and then there is the whole "sex works" thing. lol And now, the word liberal has been changed to mean support for all of that.

I believe that there needs to be a conservative party and a liberal party. But if you give evil an inch, it will take a mile. Right now the Democrats have redefined liberal to mean anything goes. Democrats defend the murderous mobs. BLM leaders openly proclaiming that they are Marxist. Notice the Democrats do not object. The BLM movement has set the black community back 50 years. People saying that we need to give the police bigger guns and a chair and whip because these people act like animals. That is not fair to the vast majority of black american citizens.

The Democrats have lol have ruined the Democratic party....at one time we could consider the liberal point of view and their concerns, but they have taken the word and made it to mean the desire to do such evils that that is why I asked if It was a sin for a Christian to vote for a Democrat. Are all democrats evil? You look at it. All of the Democrats stand with evil and vote for evil. So it does not matter if you like them or they kiss babies....they are voting to kill babies. They stand with and for evil. What is a Christian expected to do, accept and support the ways of Satan?

Ignore them.
They want you agitated.
They want you angry.
They want to manipulate the way you think and feel.
And as Christians, we should be able overcome that drawing in to a confrontation.
Discussion is good. Debate is good. Having different opinions is natural.
But when you start feeling someone pulling your strings, just walk away.
You will never win an argument with someone who just likes to argue.
And I think as Christians we should try building eachother up rather than concerning ourselves with bringing people down.
No matter what your argument is, some just won't bend.
That's the time to move along. Find someone you can laugh with and smile with and have peace.
A daily dose of hatefulness being shoved down your throat everyday can lead to bad side effects.
This politics stuff is becoming more addictive than my smoking habit.
One effects the body and thats bad, but the other effects your heart and mind and thats worse.
And to answer the question about why some christians seem so hateful,
I dont beleve we are hateful, but we are full of righteous indignation.
And when our basic foundation is challenged we stand our ground.
Some may find this offensive, but it is no more offensive than the one who is doing the challenging.
There is nothing wrong with walking away from someone who argues for the sake of arguing.
That's my 2 cents

Yeah. They are supposed to know us by our love for one another and the enemy knows it. So he makes sure that they know us by how badly we treat each other all the time, so that no one wants to come to Christ as a result. It's a more serious matter than most realize, and I think many will be held accountable for it. But it's admittedly not always easy. Some people just have this way - maybe I should say the enemy has this way through people - of flat out rubbing you the wrong way. You have to train yourself to endure a number of different irritations, some worse than others.

Yes, only in doctrinal debates this doesn't always work out well, and the enemy knows it. If you try to walk away from someone's antagonistisms peacefully, they slander you for obviously not having "an argument from scripture."

This is why I tell people to pick their battles. In theological debates, once you get into one, getting out isn't as easy.
