Actually, it means the opposite. You are as blind as a bat.It means you're a sinner, just like John admitted to being.
You're twisting my words. I didn't say "the Lord executes in hell". You did.
If you can't confess your sins to God you're not forgiven.Actually, it means the opposite. You are as blind as a bat.
You seemed to think that the law is some kind of horrible thing because within it, God executes adulterers and sodomites. You're twisting my words. I didn't say "the Lord executes in hell". You did.
Praise the LORD. When the Holy Spirit pinpoints sin to my awareness, I am the first one to confess it.If you can't confess your sins to God you're not forgiven.
Whatever God said is right, but I don't enjoy the thought of executing gays. You seemed to think that the law is some kind of horrible thing because within it, God executes adulterers and sodomites.
Yes, for those who believe they aren't sinners!Well, the NT sets forth an even deeper punishment.
I strongly recommend sticking to the NT.I have even made the confession that is found in Psalms 51:3...so maybe I am covered for the rest of my life.
My dad is one...I became a believer because I despised the disgrace that he brought to our family (worthy of Jesus).Whatever God said is right, but I don't enjoy the thought of executing gays.
Yes, for those who believe they aren't sinners!
No: see 2 Timothy 3:16. 2 Peter 1:3-4 is also good.I strongly recommend sticking to the NT.
I strongly recommend you dedicate your life to studying the NT rather than the Law of Moses that was only for Israel. My dad is one...I became a believer because I despised the disgrace he brought to our family.
I love him and pray that he will be saved; but if God puts him in hell I will consider it to be a just action on His part.
As for your latter statement, can you please reiterate what you are trying to say? it got lost in the translation.
I say "I strongly recommend sticking to the NT". And you say NO?No: see 2 Timothy 3:16. 2 Peter 1:3-4 is also good.
I strongly recommend you dedicate your life to studying the NT rather than the Law of Moses that was only for Israel.
I.E. Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you'll be saved, you AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD!
I say "I strongly recommend sticking to the NT". And you say NO?
Yes, for those who believe they aren't sinners!
All we need to know for Christian salvation is in the NT. To preach the OT to non Christians is spiritual suicide!I stay primarily in the NT; but I also do not neglect the OT; because it also is inspired of the Lord. And it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).
And we can also be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust, if we lay hold on some of those promises in the OT (see 2 Peter 1:3-4, Hebrews 11:33, 2 Corinthians 1:20, Romans 4:20-22).
You're a sinner. I'm a sinner. I'm forgiven. Are you?For those who believe they are not sinners that don’t believe the gospel.
I disagree. All we need to know for Christian salvation is in the NT. To preach the OT to non Christians is spiritual suicide!
You pick the parts you like?I disagree.
