Unbelieavable. I've met someone that understands. When we experience God in these kinds of remarkable ways, it is the experience that confirms within us that He knows who we are. And when we know, for sure, that God knows who we are, and having been given His approval, how could we ever turn away from Him? More than this, when we have these kinds of Holy Experiences, it confirms within us that He will never leave . . . we cannot ever be alone again. We also know that He will never forsake us. These experiences are confirmed by a changed life . . . and it is He that grants us the ability to Repent, and so we do. I could just write and write, and I know that you will understand. :)

Amazing! This is what I've been saying (before you joined), and I had been accused of pride, because I would say that God's word is true, because it says all our prayers are answered when we keep a clear conscience, according to 1 John 3:21-24. Before that night in 1977 when God spoke to me for the first time, and filled me to overflowing with His Spirit, I've been able to know when to pray, and WHAT to pray, because He'll tell me. Now it is just the way it is. I don't ever pray my will EVER. I just pray when He tells me what to pray and 100% of my prayers have been answered. As an example, just a couple days ago one of the members here mockingly told me to pray that Jesus will come again this weekend. I told him, "if God told him that, then it is he that needs to pray it. He is not my God, so I can't pray that just because he told me to."

But if you look at what Paul said about the Law and what it means to be "free" of it, then things will begin to make more sense. Please, please be willing to at least listen.

Romans 4:14-15 NKJV - "For if those who are of the law [are] heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, 15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law [there is] no transgression."

If you would try to understand what Paul is teaching, then your entire approach and attitude will change. Please, please slow down in your judgments. Be king. Be gentle, and unclothe yourself of emotional sandpaper.

If you had read his previous posts you would know he was STRONGLY implying I am unsaved.

Is your intention, here, to cause OSASers damage to their consciences? Are you trying to cause them hurt by bringing shame and embarrassment upon them? I hope not. We need to be like Paul in 2nd Timothy as he builds up Timothy's Heart and sense of Confidence. By destroying a person's sense of reasonable confidence, we place them into an emotional ditch, perhaps even causing a person to want to kill themselves.

Please be careful in your attempts to cause damage to a person's soul. We don't know where people are at in their life. The things that many are saying to each other, here, could actually cause a person to want to end their life. Please folks, let's be kind and gentle to each other. We're playing a deadly game with each other . . . trying to wound the consciences of each other so as to obtain some sort of wild victory.

I beg of us all . . . please stop trying to hurt one another with vague name-calling. I am calling for a greater sense of Holy Maturity in the Name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I do not belong to any cult. The simple truth is, all believers are kept safe in the arms of Jesus unless they take it into their heads to turn away from God. It can and it does happen. In 1 Timothy 1 Paul warns Timothy against false teachers, and in chapter 4 he warns against losing faith. The two go hand in hand and the cults even go as far as to deny those passages of Scripture that show their teaching to be false. Be on you guard for those who do.

I actually said in the quote you posted, that we are safe in the arms of Jesus.
God is always faithful, the warnings about backsliding are to us, and those passages get ignored. We are warned against that as well.

In the previous verse it actually says he will deny us, but that verse was not posted.

Scripture says that adding to your faith is how to have NOTHING to worry about:

[5] And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall

The devil and temptation are the elements involved here. There is no mention of a stony heart in these passages. You are adding your ‘mind-control God’ theology into this parable.

Notice that they only “ hear” ? .....anybody can do that.....that won't get the job Done .They did not go on to actually “ Hear and Believe.”
Remember “ Lydia, the Seller Of Purple “......it was said of her that God “opened her heart” so that she would not only “ hear” the Gospel but BELIEVE the Gospel .....
“ Nobody comes to God lest the Holy Spirit draw them”. Until the Holy Spirit gets involved , any gospel presentation can be a waste of time .....if and when the Holy Spirit gets involved, that would be very unlikely.....Most likely, it would be impossible.....
The Holy Spirit “ draws” men by convicting them of Sin....Perhaps these “ wanna be” Gospel Believers fell along the wayside because they never really realized their true Lost Condition.....just my theory.....I think it is a pretty valid one.....

Notice what it does NOT say.....it does not say that “ if you DONT do these things you will go to Hell”.... If there is ANYTHING out there other than Resting in the Gospel Of 1Cor15:1-4 to get one Saved ( and there isn’t) it’s up to God to take care of it .....the Onus is on Him not Us.....God is the One that stuck His neck out and said that He would “FINISH the job that HE started”...... just another reason to Rest....and I do.....how about you ? It’s an ORDER , ya know......
