If God is not doing works through you, you are not born again.
That's not legalism.
If every church that you check out says , “ Of course Jesus Saves ! ( But once you know “ that” , you must understand Jesus just died for your “ past” sins and now you must become “ good enough” in order to be fit for Heaven—- you must make yourself “ Worthy”, you must be “ Good Enough” ) . To accomplish “ that” means to keep the commandments , never commit a Sin on purpose, or AND THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT—- after you get Saved, you must remember ALL of your Sins make sure that you Repent from every one of them( LuckyRepentance) .If you have just ONE Unrepented Sin on your record.....you are Damned!
The only thing that has ever Saved any man that ever lived—- GRACE— is never talked about.I find that Strange.And Unbiblical.
I don’t know what kind of False Gospel Church you have attended all of your life. I don’t know the “Accursed” Jack-Legged Preacher you listen to......the only thing that I “ do” know is that you should have followed my example and got the heck out.....
God wants us to have fellowship with fellow Believers—- no doubt about it! But not just “ any” congregation .....they must Believe the Gospel Of Grace Plus Nothing( 1Cor15:1-4) God HATES Legalism and Tares, and Spreaders Of Leaven.....The only Congregations that I know of that preach “ Nothing But The Blood” are all on- line.....that forces me to go to them and it works out just fine....YOU oughta try it sometime. You go to where the Actual Truth Of The Gospel is preached.......and let the chips fall where they may...

Even Jesus did not preach about what He was about to do on the cross until the time was near, and only to his disciples. Think about that.

If you really had 'Jesus plus nothing' you would keep the commandments. That's how you can know if you have 'Jesus plus nothing'.
'Jesus plus something', or 'no Jesus at all', is signified by disobedience and hypocrisy. Look in the mirror and be real honest and ask yourself if you have the changed life of 'Jesus plus nothing', or the disobedience and hypocrisy of 'no Jesus at all'.

Since you have not attended a church in 55 years, let me bring you up to speed. That's ALL they talk about. The church is stuck on the milk knowledge of salvation and does not give a thought to growing up into the training of distinguishing good from evil in living a righteous life.
13Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:13-14
You need solid food! You're still an infant feeding on the elementary milk knowledge of the gospel. You are not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. It's time to grow up into the righteous life that God, by grace, saved you to live. You're all about the baby lessons of God's grace in salvation (the message for the babies), but you have no knowledge of the mature lesson of God's grace in living for him. You've been drinking milk for 55 years. Time for you to grow up and start eating the meat and potatoes of God's word.

See, any babe in Christ, runs around thinking....>"By their fruit i can tell if they are real"...>"so, let me be a fruit inspector, and then i'll know the real believers, as it'll be those who are doing all those good works, and always talk about love and getting along".
So, here is the reality Check, Reader.
1. Hell received, just today, a brand new crop of "do gooders" who were church members, taught Sunday school, gave to the poor, voted for Trump, or Biden.... and hated socialism or love it.. They also, talked about the bible a lot, and sometimes argued that you could "lose your salvation".
They had a lot of Fruit. They never missed a Sunday.. and their Children also never missed a Sunday.
So why are these do-gooders, who are loaded with "fruit"....all the works, all the self effort, not in heaven Today?
Because Jesus said...."you must be Born AGAIN".
So, if we look at their life, we see FRUIT...we see DEEDS....we see, = APPEARANCE.
Well, The Devil comes as "an angel of LIGHT"....and his ministers as """"ministers of RIGHTEOUSNESS"""">.
What does that mean?
It means that the Devil and his group are fruit bearing fanatics. They will bear so much fruit..
And that is because you are looking for it, and so, they know you are.....so, they will deceive you with their FAKE FRUIT, if you are a babe in your understanding, regarding how to SEE a heretic.
Since real fruit is the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), if anyone is truly bearing good fruit, they must be born again of the Holy Spirit.
This is your way of acclaiming yourself; because your fruit is bad.
It may follow in someone's mind that if those who bear good fruit are fakers, then those who bear bad fruit are genuine.
This is what Jesus said:
Mat 7:15, Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16, Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17, Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

If say one who calls himself a Christian feed the hungry, visit prisoners, help the poor, and other good deeds, how do you know if he did those in love or out of love?
