Job 21:3
Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on.
Romans 6:11
...reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
You are a natural man, not a spiritual. Get spiritual and leave off the flesh and then you will understand these things.
Romans 8:5
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 6:15
What then? shall we sin, because we are... under grace? God forbid.
Speak for yourself and be not proud.
I meditate on scriptures often.
Perhaps you should read that scripture in full understanding:
1 John 1:7-8
[7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Every believer has been cleansed from ALL their sins (leaving NONE). He is in effect without sin. The deceived ones in the passage have NOT been cleansed but believe they have no sin regardless. For the same author in the SAME letter writes:
1 John 2:1
[1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
And:
1 John 3:8 KJVS
[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil
And:
1 John 3:9
[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin
Because I base my observations on scriptures, not the opinions of men.
If you want to enter the “not yet” realm, LIVE HOLY NOW!
Especially after being born again (which is the only way living holy matters).
Got scriptures to back this up?
Acts 17:20
[20] For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.
There are no scriptures to support this commonly spread lie in the so-called churches these days regarding present and future sins.
Another lie.
Hear ye what the Lord saith!
Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
You are in deep sleep with the lullabies of men:
1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and sin not
And now I leave you with these words:
Isaiah 28:22
Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong
I am in agreement with everyone of those scriptures - with a few different interpretations though.
Confession for a Christian is essential, we are told to confess our sins lest we be arrogant and prideful. Those who do not confess their sins lack humility. Confession is the process that God uses to sanctify you. Sanctification is instant Spiritually, but our souls aren't instantly transformed, they take time to weed out the bad stuff.
Have you heard of spiritual growth?
I guess you matured instantly, perfectly and all can see it. LOL
Scriptures encourages us to walk in the Spirit - but we don't do that 100% of the time - oh, except for you of course.
Who is your brother? Those who are in CHRIST?
"Take heed to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him and if he repented forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him." LUKE 17:3, 4
Again, does everyone who knows you think your perfect since you became a Christian? You never said or done anything wrong? Never felt guilty about doing or not doing something. How do you think the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin while He dwells in us?
And then how could we grieve the HS if we always did good???
Ways to grieve the Holy Spirit:
Ephesians 4:29-32
Foul language, bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, slander, malicious behavior.
About redemption. We've been bought for a price. He foreknew us, predestined us to BECOME CONFORMED to the image of His Son, He called us, justified us but redemption is not fully complete. He hasn't glorified us yet, given us new bodies - then the full consummation will taken place.
We have to be honest with ourselves. Don't fool yourself. Can you look in the mirror and say I am just like CHRIST, a perfect reflection?
Christ died for all our sins and all of them were in the future btw.
"If you say you have no Sin, the truth is not in you."
