I just liked it and now I'm going to start working on my parody. :D Btw, here's another question for you guys,.. can you think of any examples on how to say something to somebody the right way versus the wrong way? Hopefully that makes sense. :)

I may be wrong...

...but i feel like a little boy who just had his head patted...

Yeah, you can say, "okay, this is what I'm hearing you say [yadda yadda yaaaa]...is this correct?"

I think it's called reflecting...or something...!

I was sitting outside one time and there was a woman and her husband and she straight up yelled at him, "TIM. GET THE GIRLS." (I'm naming him Tim because I didn't care what his name was at the time.) Then she had a horrible attitude with him.

Anyway, I was shocked. First of all, this is a guy that is literally stepping up and helping in the first place. Why complain at all!? After that, you pretty much have it made. I would never yell demands at a man ever, especially in public. I wouldn't want to see a man yell at a woman like that either. I could see, "Tim, could you please get the girls?" or "Would you mind getting the girls, please?" then that would be perfectly fine but I was embarrassed for him.

It's the worst thing to be yelled at in public and have a big scene where everyone sees it and have to act normal.

When you're raising kids without their dads, whether that's because they left or because they're emotionally unavailable and overall not really involved, things like that really catch your attention.

Take note: Avoid the really obnoxiously overly macho ones if you want to avoid the public drama theater

I was going to try to explain it more but it sounds like Ducky hit the nail on the head down below. :D (And speaking of head,.. *give yours a pat.* :) )

Uhhh... shouldn't you walk first...shower later...?

Maybe, but I also tend to shower (every other day usually) before I get dressed lol

That is correct and here's another video that explains it really well towards the end. :D Btw, sorry I disappeared but I went out for a bit so my parody is going to be ready later. :) Also, I hope tonight it's clearer what the homework assignment is and I do wish my homework for school would have been to watch a movie lol :D (Slam Dunk Ernest as a reminder that's on YouTube free movies if you can't watch it any other way. :) ) Oh and I think it might have been a combination of allergies and weather changing as to why I was sick this morning as rain is supposedly coming tonight and it's supposed to rain for the next few days.

Well guys it's the first day of spring and welcome to the first lesson in my new series that will help us to grow as Christians,.. but before I get to that I'm going to add a little bit of symbolism.

As beginning (baby) Christians we start off as seeds.

View attachment 13942

Then once we turn to Christ He becomes our soil and foundation and we dwell within Him and He dwells within us. :)

View attachment 13943

Like the sun He shines His light into our lives when we are headed through the darkness. :)

View attachment 13944

Then the wisdom that we get from His Word becomes the water we need to help us to grow as Christians. :)

View attachment 13945

So eventually we can grow big and strong in our faith and wisdom and present our nice fresh and ripe fruit. :D

View attachment 13946

And yes I seriously made that all up by myself. :) (The symbolism part that is.)

So anyways here's a bit of water for all of the seeds in Christ here today to help us to grow big and strong. Today's topic is all about friendship. :)

So what exactly does it mean to be a friend? What does it mean to you? Well to me I think it means celebrating the things you have in common with that person, but when there's disagreements and differences learning to accept them anyways. I think it means to realize that whenever there are conflicts to understand that neither of you are perfect and it's always good to admit when you are wrong and forgive the other person when they admit they are wrong. It's always good to be there for your friend whenever they need you and try to help them out in every way that you can. :)

I consider Jesus to be my best friend because He was always there for me even when I didn't deserve it and that's also the sign of a true friend. He forgives me for my mistakes, and loves me unconditionally, and He even gave His life for me. Checkout this quote in the Bible all about friendship!! :D

John 15:13- "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."

So there you have it! Those are my thoughts on friendship but I'll be really curious to hear all of your own. I hope you enjoyed part one and tomorrow we will be discussing kindness. :)
