I can sort of see the panty raid thing, but originally the show was made for college kids believe it or not. The second banned episode is just stupid in my mind to ban it.

Someday someone is going to make a comedy movie about this... Spongebob, the Cat in the Hat, classic Disney characters and Teen 17 magazine contributors all hiding from the Cancel Culture police!

I already cancelled them from my life. If Disney and spongebob disappeared, it wouldn't bother me one bit! Lol

But what is this "cancel culture" thing about?

Is this a sarcastic question or a genuine question? Sorry, it's rather difficult to tell over the internet. :/

Ok, they have GOT to be kidding, LoL. A crab goes on a panty raid and steals some that turn out to be his own mother's panties, and it has to removed from public view? My goodness how weak we have become as a society if we can't handle a storyline like that, LoL.

Yet far worse seems to be allowed to be shown on the tv, they want to ban this, but put "Married at First Sight" on at a prime time on tv, they also do the same with shows like "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette", when kids are awake and eating dinner. The tv stations have double standards, what applies to one show doesn't apply to another

I think it's anything or anyone being cancelled or banned because some people disagree with them.

Some journalist called out Bluey, an Aussie cartoon for not being diverse enough.

Yeah... That is the short and simple answer. But it often is ludicrous. For example, a couple of years ago many radio stations refused to play "Baby its cold outside" because of one line in which the woman wonders if there was something in her drink. Thus, date rape culture! But if you listen to the song, its obviously a flirty and charming game by both parties.

Another example is that manor league baseball just pulled the allstar game out of Atlanta due to the state of Georgia (where Atlanta is located) passing some controversial voting regulations. The problem is that local businesses are going to miss out on a big payday, and they have nothing to do with the laws. Overall, the city of Atlanta is probably against those laws, but businessmen and their employees are going to suffer.

It's just so strange to me. Something that seems so innocent and benign... but maybe they don't want to encourage predatory behavior or something...

But who on earth still engages in a panty raid these days? LoL. Wasn't that like a 1950s thing? By now, kids have seen enough stuff on their computers by age 6 that would make a panty raid look like exchanging flowers.

I was going to respond but it appears as if others have already answered your question. :)

Yeah,.. I don't really think that the youngsters would even understand what was going on lol
