I guess this is one of those things that I accept by faith because I can't wrap my brain around it.
Which is to be expected, when it comes to God.
I've got to go lay down...they think I have Covid.
Maybe we'll talk about it again. :)

We have to humbly accept what the Bible actually teaches and that we cannot understand everything about the God of the Bible

Because you are pushing a demonic teaching of the nature of God

What projection! Yikes! Jesus own words. God's own words. I'll stick to the words of God and the Lord Jesus over your proclamations.

1C You are not to serve any other gods before Me.
Exodus 20:3

Moses: 4 Listen, Israel! The Eternal is our True God—He alone.
Deuteronomy 6:4

Scribe: Tell me, Teacher. What is the most important thing that God commands in the law?
Jesus: 29 The most important commandment is this: “Hear, O Israel, the Eternal One is our God, and the Eternal One is the only God.
Mark 12:28-29

I have not ever acted, and will not in the future act, on My own. I listen to the directions of the One who sent Me and act on these divine instructions.
John 5:30

I am going to be with the Father because He is far greater than I am
John 14:28

Irrelevant to the point of this thread. Point is Jesus would not say God is far greater if he was absolutely to be held in equality with the Father.

You quoted from Deut 6.4. The Lord is one

See what 1 Cor 8.6 says

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

So it is Jesus Who is the One Lord of Deut!

Agreed. Not that trinitarian imposition onto unitarian text. The true God is alone not part of a triad.

Now you speak truth. A triad is different than a triune god. that is why the early Fathers in reading the Scriptures and seeing three seperate "persons" are all called God but there is one God! Even the Shma hints at this: "Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One". Foolish statement to make if God is unitarian.

Again projecting doctrine onto text. There are no 3 persons called God in Scripture. One God alone is the the Shema.

Again projecting doctrine onto text. There are no 3 persons called God in Scripture. One God alone is the the Shema.

The shema shows Jehovah is plural. Shma' Is-rael Jehovah (singular) your Elohim 9plural) is one (echad ordinal not cardinal) Echad is the term for a compound one!

John 1:1
King James Version

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 persons called God here! The first God has the definite article "the" in the texts, so it reads- "The Word was with the god and the Word was God. 2 people called God

3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Lying to teh Holy spirit is lying to God!

Also :

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

In the Hebrew NT it is even clearer! "Now Jehovah is the Spirit". Not like John 4 where it says god is "A" spirit. This is specific.

The word trinity is made up, but the doctrine behind it is solid biblical truth.

two people are called Jehovah
two people are the first and last
two people are the alpha and omega
Elohim is plural
adonai is plural
when god is called one in the OT it is never with "yachid" the cardinal one (which means a single unit) but always with echad which is the ordinal one or compound one in many cases!

And if you wish to brag that teh Jews wrote the OT and reject trinitarianism, remember Israel has been temporarily set aside for rejecting the Scriptures so the gentiles can come in before God removes the blinders from their eyes.

Many supposed devout jews could not even recognize their Messiah though they klnew the SCriptures supposedly!
