Hi Fluffy, you have a friend, whose prayer for you has not changed or been repeated, but who now give thanks that God is working in fulfilling that prayer and is and has been drawing you closer into His warm encompassing embrace.
God is setting you aside for a purpose which is beyond my ability to comprehend. Yes, you/I do need friends to walk with us who have a like mind in Christ. God will bring those people along side of you and me as and when needed for a friend to speak with.
Being in God's purposes can be a very lonely position to be in, as other will not always understand how we can be content within our circumstances in God's presences giving thanks to Him for all that He has and is doing within our respective lives.
May God increase your wisdom and understanding of when to stand to do His bidding and when to sit and rest in His presences until the next time that He needs you to stand and be seen with His Glory flowing outwards from you as you Bless those around you with the words that He gives you at that time.
May you continue to Grow in your relationship with God. Sometimes it will be rocky, other times with the sails set to catch the Wind of the Spirit, the sailing will be smooth to go where God needs you to be.
From a distance with my eyes closed, I can see God at work within you. Be at peace with Him, your Friend.

I'm glad. On one hand I think, it would be way easier to just be normal and then on a much bigger hand, I think it is good because I have Jesus.
It is not much different from what every believer is already doing, in my mind, but I've just become more aware of it.
Sort of like when God opened up Elisha's eyes. Just not as big as that. Lol

I am confident that God hears and will answer your prayers for a person who understands. Just last year, I had no one besides my husband, but that all quickly changed and now I have worthy friends supporting me.
I hope you pm me sometime. Id love to know how you're doing and what God is showing you lately.
Wynona, Fluffy knows the background to what I have posted in this thread which goes back a number of months/years to another time. As a far off observer, I have been able to see God's hand at work in her life and have been able to confirm for her what she already has received from years past.
As for PM'ing you, the Lord is my sufficiency and the one who I walk with daily.
As for what the Lord is showing me, I have already published that on this forum which recently was based on 2 Chron 7:12-14. The question we must understand is what is the temple within the context of today? Where is God's temple today?
What God has indicated in this passage is that "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, i.e. climate change, or command the locusts to devour the land, i.e. present day consuming tyranny, or send pestilence, i.e. global covid19, among My people," that there is a remedy that those who are called by His name to deal with the troubles of the world at this time which is told to us in the Sower parable where the wheat is being choked by the thorns in the area where the seed has been scattered.
What is the primary problem/sin today? People are acting "God like" to deal with the issues we see around us, to overcome them in our own strengths.
The issues in the USA and Australia is that both countries tried to heal the land of Babylon since 9/11 which was foretold by John and embedded/hidden in the sixth bowl judgement. Jer 51:14 also tells us the consequences and what happens because of our acting God like in Babylon. (For the context read both chapter 50 and 51.)
Holding and expressing these things means that I will be marginalised and made irrelevant to the people in today's church. Having friends is important for people to have around them, however, people what to be accepted by the people who are a part of the crowd and to be accepted by them, but that is not what God is calling His people to want. He tells us that we will be hated for telling His truths, that we will be dragged before the courts of public opinion and ridiculed and even killed.
In this we are to take up our cross, no matter what the consequences are for us, and bear witness to the one who will make a difference in this earth.
I have my cross to bear. May I recommend that you take up your appointed cross and become a disciple of the Lord.

I agree that we are to expect strong persecution for our faith. But I don't think it's wrong to desire Godly fellowship. Real faith and friendship are not mutually exclusive.
