Eternal life with immortal bodies in the kingdom of God prepared for us from the foundation of the world which will be in the new heavens and new earth.What is our Inheritance?
We know that Christ has redeemed us and is sanctifying us and making us like unto Himself, however, what is our inheritance?
With scriptures, please.
Thank you for replying. Now the `saints` there are Israel for the Body of Christ was not written about or revealed then.Try these two verses from Daniel 7: -
18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.'
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'
Hi Douggg,INHERIT IN THE BIBLE
See 'inherit' instances in the King James Version (KJV).www.kingjamesbibleonline.org
Hi SI,Eternal life with immortal bodies in the kingdom of God prepared for us from the foundation of the world which will be in the new heavens and new earth.
1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:....46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
I just provided all the passages that contain the word "inherit".Hi Douggg,
Not all those scriptures apply to the Body of Christ.
Yes, however I did ask `What is OUR inheritance?` not just inheritance in general. Perhaps you may like to answer that?I just provided all the passages that contain the word "inherit".
Christians are "joint-heirs with Christ" (Romans 8:17). With such being the case, we need to first know what Christ's inheritance is in order to know what our inheritance is because we will be sharing his inheritance with him. Does this make sense?What is our Inheritance?
CHRIST is our inheritanceWhat is our Inheritance?
We know that Christ has redeemed us and is sanctifying us and making us like unto Himself, however, what is our inheritance?
With scriptures, please.
Impossible to answer fully.What is our Inheritance?

This, in no way, delineates the prophecy specifies "the saints" who are comprised of Jew & Gentile in MESSIAHThank you for replying. Now the `saints` there are Israel for the Body of Christ was not written about or revealed then.
"But the saints of the Most High will receive and posses the kingdom" - Daniel 7:18Thank you for replying. Now the `saints` there are Israel for the Body of Christ was not written about or revealed then.
No, Mathew 25:34 and Matthew 25:46 are referring to His sheep inheriting eternal life in the kingdom of God when He returns. The body of Christ are those who belong to Him and those who belong to Him are His sheep (see John 10). You are badly mistaken.Hi SI,
I agree with 1 Cor. 15: 50 & 51, however Matt. 25: 31 is referring to the nations on the earth after the trib. the Body of Christ is not in that time.
I believe we inherit more than just the new earth. We will be reigning from the Lord`s own throne in the highest over ALL God`s great kingdom. (Rev. 3: 21)We inherit the kingdom of God
Matthew 25:34
Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
We shall be changed, actually everything will be changed, which means we will not inherit this world, we inherit the new earth
1 Corinthians 15:50
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
Hebrews 1
8 But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A [f]scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
10 And:
“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
11 They will perish, but You remain;
And they will all grow old like a garment;
12 Like a cloak You will fold them up,
And they will be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not fail.”
2 Peter 3
The Day of the Lord
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
When Jesus returns He comes as a thief in the night
The Body of Christ is NOT mentioned in the Old Testament for it was not revealed then. (Eph. 3: 1 - 5)This, in no way, delineates the prophecy specifies "the saints" who are comprised of Jew & Gentile in MESSIAH

Yes, eternal life on the new earth. (Rev. 21: 24).No, Mathew 25:34 and Matthew 25:46 are referring to His sheep inheriting eternal life in the kingdom of God when He returns. The body of Christ are those who belong to Him and those who belong to Him are His sheep (see John 10). You are badly mistaken.
