There has been much confusion about The Millennial Kingdom. Some do not believe that there will be such a thing. Augustine was one of the first who taught that these particular scriptures that described such a kingdom were symbolic, allegorical and that set the course for Amillennialism. It's interesting that an allegory is defined as using figures of speech, metaphors, parables, fictional events and characters to describe truths and generalizations about human existence. Jesus is not a fictional character. Others are confused about it, because it is something we've never experienced or conceived and frankly not much is written about it. We've lived with sin for so long that a place without it, especially on earth doesn't seem possible. Oh well, here it is: "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he would deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while." Rev. 20:1-3
So, it will be a Kingdom without the sin, evil and Satan tempting us - He'll be locked up along with His demonic horde. Christ will rule. We will know Him, love Him and the world will worship Him. This is what God intended. Peace and harmony at last, Paradise reborn and something to look forward too. The entire earth will experience peace and harmony:
"And the wolf will dwell with the lamb,
And the leopard will lie down with the young goat,
And the calf and the young lion and the fattened steer will be together;
And a little boy will lead them.
Also the cow and the bear will graze,
Their young will lie down together,
And the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra,
And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,
For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea. while we ponder our current sinful world - that is coming to an end." Isaiah 11:6-9

And those who are born during this kingdom will grow to live hundreds of years old. Sin distorts everything, our genetic code, the environment and so without it, a more perfect world, more healthy cells regenerating. Diseases and illnesses would be also eradicated since sin will not corrupt, distort and cause destruction. So harmful bacteria and deadly viruses won't exist. The earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord and so life will be harmonious in every way. But evidently, these children born during this time will still be subject to sin, yet with Satan not tempting and God among us, it would be mild compared to today. Some of this is conjecture on my part but what the heck I'll throw it in: there will be no masks or vaccines needed! Big Pharma, take a hike! Doctors? Well, I suppose someone can break a leg. I kind of think natural healing will be the thing - I practice that now, it works!

God intended for a Kingdom on Earth, ruled by a King, and this Kingdom, would encompass all nations. All would worship their King, all would know Him. That King will be Our Lord and Savior, Jesus. We’ve asked for this in prayer since Christ came, “… thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven…” No doubt Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth. And as believers, who put our faith in Him, are born from above. We are in Christ and have entered into The Kingdom of Heaven, Christ handed it to us when we believed His gospel. We are going to heaven, but that is not the end of the story.

The Kingdom of God in Heaven is a spiritual Kingdom, but the theocratic Kingdom on earth is coming. There has never been such a kingdom on earth. Let’s face it, a kingdom needs a physical KING, up close and personal, face to face, one you can actually bow down to and worship and hug, talk to and learn from.

The Old Testament prophets foretold of such a Kingdom and so the Jews waited for, hoped for and looked forward to the time when their Messiah would come and reign as King. They expected Him to come in His glory and power and defeat all nations and restore Jerusalem as scripture states. But when Jesus came the first time, they were quite confused, because it didn’t happen the way they expected. He came as the Suffering Servant, to take away the sins of the world, but not to reign as King - yet. Even His disciples were dismayed and questioned Him about this. Those prophecies they were confused about spoke of His Second Coming, His Judgment and Millennial Kingdom on earth.

Upon His ascension, angels promised His return:

“… Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in the like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

And when He comes every eye will see Him:

“Behold, He is coming in the clouds and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him.” Rev. 1:7

Let’s examine some Old testament prophecies. Here are some passages that speak of the Great Tribulation, when Jesus returns.

“And Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle and in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley, half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.” Zech. 14:3-4

“ … Thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with You…” “And the Lord shall be King over all the earth…” Zech. 14:5 & 9

He shall be King over all the earth during the Great Tribulation WHEN He defeats His foes. As a matter of fact, the kingdoms of the world become His at the sound of the SEVENTH TRUMPET. (Rev. 11:15)

“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His anointed, saying, ‘Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us’. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the LORD shall hold them in derision, then He shall speak to them in His wrath and distress them in the His deep displeasure; Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.” Psalm 2: 1-6

“And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever.” Dan. 2:44

“To Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.” Dan.7:14

“ Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the god of Jacob; he will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in this paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people, they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.”” Isaiah 2:2-4

"And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious." Isaiah 11:10

“…They shall see the glory of the LORD, the majesty of our God.” Isaiah 35:2

“And I the LORD, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken.” Ezek. 34:24

“… So the LORD will reign over them in Mt. Zion from now on, even forever.” Micah 4:7

“The Lord will be awesome to them, For He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth; People shall worship Him, Each one from his place, Indeed all the shores of the nations.” Zech. 2:11

“ Thus says the Lord, I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.” Zech. 8:3

The habitants of the city shall go to another, saying, ‘Let us continue to go and pray before the LORD, And seek the LORD of hosts …” Yes, Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, And pray before the LORD. Zech.8:21, 22

“Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Rev. 20:6

1) I'm not sure both Satan and demons are bound during the Millennium. What's your evidence that all demons are bound along with Satan during that time? Not saying you're wrong--just curious what you base this on?
2) I'm not sure Jesus remains physically on earth during the Millennium. The Lord can dwell in Jerusalem through the Holy Spirit--not necessarily through Jesus' physical presence. Again, what's the basis of your claim?
3) I'm not sure why you deny there has ever been a theocracy on earth? Wasn't Israel a theocracy in the OT? Aren't Christian nations in history to be considered theocracies?

I believe the basis of a literal Millennium rests in OT prophecies depicting the fulfillment of God's promises to Abraham, in which a multitude of nations present the Kingdom of Christ on earth. These will be, I think, Christian nations, even before the Great White Throne Judgment at the end of the Millennium.

In Jude 1:6 and 2 Peter 2:4 these angels are already locked up but are released during the Great Tribulation. In Rev. 20:2, we see Satan locked up and chained after the GT. We see sin and evil banished from earth including all unbelievers. Everyone had been washed of sin. Why would God allow demons to remain after purifying the earth? We see peace and harmony, Paradise reborn ... but oops _ sorry _ you'll have to contend with demonic attacks! ???
I'm not sure Jesus remains physically on earth during the Millennium.
Already answered in scriptures I gave.
Acts 1:11 & Rev. 1:7 tell us Jesus will physically return and every eye will see him.
"...Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.” Psalm 2:6
IS. 2:2-4; 11:10; 35:2
"So the LORD will reign over them in Mt. Zion from now on, even forever.” Micah 4:7
"Thus says the Lord, I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem." Zech. I:3
"Yes, Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, And pray before the LORD." Zech.8: 22

I'm not sure why you deny there has ever been a theocracy on earth?
Not the entire world.

Not the entire world.

A common Millennial passage is in Zech 14, where it is noted that some nations do not honor the Feast of Tabernacles. Does this indicate some nations do not choose to submit to the reigning Kingdom on earth? Certainly, the knowledge of Christ will be everywhere. But will all nations truly follow him? I'm not sure about that!

In history, Rome ruled supreme over the Mediterranean region. And yet, that didn't mean all were completely submitting to it. The Kingdom of God will rule on earth during the Millennium. But as far as I know, nations may resist fully submitting to it.

Jesus does reign for a thousand years. But it could begin with his return, and then he could establish a reign among his people and the nations that serve him. I'm not sure he would physically remain there, but might instead let his Kingdom be perpetuated through the Millennial Church. He would be present *through them.*

I say that because it seems weird to have glorified saints living alongside mortal saints. And if mortals later rebel, when Satan is released, that rebellion was always there--it just needed encouragement by Satan to blossom into full-fledge rebellion.

Again, I understand the argument you offer for the binding of all demons. I just don't see that stated clearly? I suppose you don't have anything more than I do at present? I do see it as possible that some demons remain after the binding of Satan. I think it will be glorious on earth with respect to the fulfillment of prophecy. But then again, things in the current age have been glorious without demons being fully bound.

I'm not argumentative about these things, nor am I even stating what I believe. I was just curious what you thought about these issues. Thanks.

Aw man. I hate to disagree here but...

If you are referring to this verse...

Isaiah 65:20
"There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed."

It does not say what most think it does.

The word 'for' should be interpreted as 'otherwise'...

"...[otherwise] the child shall die an hundred years old"

The verse is simply stating that there will neither be babies nor old people in Heaven... *OTHERWISE* they will have to spend an eternity in that form.

In other words, everyone will be Born Again the same age.

Imagine someone who passes away from old age with a broken down body. Now imagine that person having to spend a thousand years or even eternity that way! Or how about a Fetus? It would spend eternity in an incubator!

Now add Death to the equation. It just doesn't work.

Isaiah 65:20 simply points out the absurdity of a world like that.

We are under Grace, not the Old System of the Law. Rituals, ceremonies if implied in the future Kingdom _I think _ were necessary for their time, and their obedience to their Laws. What if they were given a prophecy that told them Jesus was going to fulfill the laws because they couldn't, that they would not be under the LAW - that it was an exercise in futility, just to prove a point to the world that man is a sinner and can do nothing to get rid of it? Would they just drip everything and say fine, why bother trying? What if a prophet just came to them and said, Listen, all these sacrifices are meaningless, or at best just a shadow of things to come. lets just wait for the Messiah, he will sacrifice Himself for our sins - no need to go through all these motions! Would they continue to be obedient to the Law?
The Millennial Kingdom will be a new system and actually all knowledge that is given about it is simply on a "need to know" basis.

This is a mystery. We have billions of translated people with eternal bodies who will be priests and then (IMHO) a Jewish remnant of male and female virgins who have been protected during the GT that repopulate the world. Remember the 144k, male virgins who did not defile themselves with women? Well, I suspect there will be a sufficient amount of women for them. Scripture is sufficient and it is obvious, you don't did deep enough. I had to repeat answers that I already gave you in the OP - you just skimmed over them I guess. Study.

I read through dozens of English translations (of which I only use about seven) and none of them seem to interpret the words like you do.
Try reading through a bunch of these. They all convey the same message - people will live much longer healthier lives - hundreds of years!
KJ21
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days; for the child shall die a hundred years old; but the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.
ASV
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days; for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.
AMP
“No longer shall there be in it an infant who lives only a few days, Or an old man who does not finish his days; For the youth who dies at the age of a hundred, And the one who does not reach the age of a hundred Will be thought of as accursed.

CEB
No more will babies live only a few days, or the old fail to live out their days. The one who dies at a hundred will be like a young person, and the one falling short of a hundred will seem cursed.

CEV
No child will die in infancy; everyone will live to a ripe old age. Anyone a hundred years old will be considered young, and to die younger than that will be considered a curse.
DARBY
There shall be no more thenceforth an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not completed his days; for the youth shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.
ESV
No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.
EXB
There will never be a ·baby [infant] from that city who lives only a few days. And there will never be an older person who doesn’t ·have a long life [L live out his days]. A person who ·lives a hundred years will be called young [or dies at a hundred years will still be considered a child], and a person who dies before he is a hundred will be thought of as a ·sinner [or accursed].
GNT
Babies will no longer die in infancy, and all people will live out their life span. Those who live to be a hundred will be considered young. To die before that would be a sign that I had punished them.
HCSB
In her, a nursing infant will no longer live only a few days, or an old man not live out his days. Indeed, the youth will die at a hundred years, and the one who misses a hundred years will be cursed.
ICB
There will never be a baby from that city who lives only a few days. And there will never be an older person who doesn’t have a long life. A person who lives 100 years will be called young. And the person who dies before he is 100 will be thought of as a sinner.
KJV
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
NOG
There will no longer be an infant who lives for only a few days or an old man who doesn’t live a long life. Whoever lives to be a hundred years old will be thought of as young. Whoever dies before he is a hundred years old will be cursed as a sinner.
NABRE
No longer shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, nor anyone who does not live a full lifetime; One who dies at a hundred years shall be considered a youth, and one who falls short of a hundred shall be thought accursed.
NASB
No longer will there be in it an infant who lives only a few days, Or an old person who does not live out his days; For the youth will die at the age of a hundred, And the one who does not reach the age of a hundred Will be thought accursed.

NET
Never again will one of her infants live just a few days or an old man die before his time. Indeed, no one will die before the age of one hundred; anyone who fails to reach the age of one hundred will be considered cursed.
NIV
“Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.

NKJV
“No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
NLV
No more will there be in it a child who lives only a few days, or an old man who does not live many years. For the child will live to be a hundred years old. And the one who does not live a hundred years will be thought to be cursed.
NLT
“No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only the cursed will die that young!
NRSV
No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old person who does not live out a lifetime; for one who dies at a hundred years will be considered a youth, and one who falls short of a hundred will be considered accursed.

OJB
There shall be no more in there an infant of days, nor a zaken (old man) that hath not filled his days; for he that shall die a hundred years old will be regarded a na’ar; but the choteh (sinner), a hundred years old, will be accursed.
TPT
No baby will die in infancy there, and everyone will live out their full lifespan. For when centenarians die, they will be considered youngsters, and anyone who dies earlier will be considered of no account.
RSV
No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.

VOICE
Never again will a person not live a full life, for the young will live to be a hundred And any who die earlier will be considered cursed.
WEB
“No more will there be an infant who only lives a few days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child will die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed.
YLT
There is not thence any more a suckling of days, And an aged man who doth not complete his days, For the youth a hundred years old dieth, And the sinner, a hundred years old, is lightly esteemed.

In other words, everyone will be Born Again the same age.
Born again people who have been translated at the sound if the last trumpet, receive eternal bodies. There will be mortals on earth who are physically born, live and die and receive forgiveness as we did. This is the group the scripture is talking about.

Imagine someone who passes away from old age with a broken down body. Now imagine that person having to spend a thousand years or even eternity that way! Or how about a Fetus? It would spend eternity in an incubator!

Now add Death to the equation. It just doesn't work.
Wow, you are leaning on your own understanding. This will be Paradise reborn - like it was in the Garden of Eden with the knowledge of Good and Evil, sin and death, only without Satan tempting us.

I hear you OP. I wish I could provide a better explanation.

The best I can do for now is give you another Witness.

Fast forward to 1:40 for what I believe is a decent alternative viewpoint...

At 8:35 the presenter talks specifically about the word 'for' and how it should be interpreted.

Sorry, I had to turn it off after he said it was a parallel text with Rev 21 ... about eternity. A quick debunk of that is that in the ISAIAH passage, people die. There is no death in (Rev. 21:4) in our eternal State. Rev. 21 speaks if the New Heaven and New earth -- after the Millennial Kingdom. Besides, it seems like you are ignoring the multitude of educated scholars who have translated that particular scripture in the dozens of Bibles over the centuries that I posted. And you chose to listen to listen Bible study guy instead.

Yes, sometimes you have to be patient and repeat things. In this case, you didn't completely explain your beliefs about the Millennium. I had no idea you thought every single person in the Millennium will be a born again believer! I can't buy into that--sorry. It explains why I'm asking so many questions of you. But I don't need to ask anything else. Thanks.

Most of my OP is scripture. Commentary is minimal. Ignore my commentary and just study scripture. You don't buy into that everyone in that Millennial Kingdom will be born again? Everyone is worshipping Jesus
Jesus had destroyed ALL false religions and ALL unbelievers. Do the math, it is common sense.

There is a vision in my mind that shows a world like the GOE., will be what exists in the 1000 years. Then the evil one will be let loose once again and, from there I have no idea. If I even HAVE an idea about all of this, lol.

There is a vision in my mind that shows a world like the GOE., will be what exists in the 1000 years. Then the evil one will be let loose once again and, from there I have no idea. If I even HAVE an idea about all of this, lol.
Well, you are close. One thing about the GOE is that it was NOT perfect. How could it be with Satan luring around trying to confuse attempt you. That won't be the case in the MK. Yet, apparently children will be born into sin and have to grow, learn about Christ and believe. They will certainly have a more knowlegable world if Christians.,so no other alternate paths to choose, no other religions, philosophies or atheism. They will be able to see the Lord. Still, a two year old does not know anything about anything and no matter what his parents say, sometimes he is rebellious, gets on his back, screams and kicks in defiance. I don't know - maybe just let him go outside and play with a cobra or lion. Distraction is the key with those little ones.

I think you think it's all laid in cement, and it isn't. You obviously haven't been reading the debates. Those who think it's "just in the Bible" seem extremely ignorant, in view of the centuries of turmoil between real believers who couldn't agree on what Scripture meant on subjects like the Eucharist, the Trinity, Eternal Security, and Church organization, among many, many other things, not the least of which involves biblical prophecy.

It isn't that simple brother! It isn't just about the "simple" Scripture reading. I think God expected us to dig deep if we really want to know things. As well, I think He expects us to keep our hearts pure, and stay kind with others. That's a tall task!

On the subject of the Millennial Age, and whether only born again believers will live there, that would involve all kinds of contradictions. For example, most Christians are not *born* into the world as born again Christians. If so, then we have lots of children that are not yet born again!

Furthermore, at the end of the Millennium there is a great rebellion. If everybody is born again, that wouldn't happen, I should think? Finally, in Zech 14, we read that some nations will choose not to observe the Feast of Tabernacles, whatever that means? Born again believers would not fail to observe a religious memorial, if it was so required by God.

There are other intimations that people will not be all joyous and cooperative with the Kingdom that reigns, universally, over them. As I said before, a Kingdom can reign over the whole earth without a complete submission in the hearts who are being forced to recognize it.

Anyway, this is about the least important thing to be up in arms about anyway, so I hope to leave you in peace with the Lord? :)

All these worry about something that no one said to worry about. Live life and leave the rest up to God

I am am speaking in terms of the beginning of the 1000 years. Day 1, all who are in are born again. I also mentioned that anyone who was born during this time was not. And so they had to learn about Jesus and accept what everyone else did and ultimately be baptized into His name at some point. A thousand years even in such a harmonious world still has problems with sin. It states that those who died at 100 years old would be considered young and accursed. When Satan is finaly released there will habe been hundreds of millions of people who were born in this era and multiple generations.
Those who die in Christ (after the first resurrection) will be resurrected at the end of the era.
I never claimed it was all simple - just some aspects of the kingdom that are stated. I also said, not much details are given about this time, but all imply peace and harmony, as the world is filled with the knowledge and worship of the LORD.
The meek shall inherit the earth.
Peace to you.

The Isaiah 25 Scripture where Apostle Paul was pulling from about death being swallowed up in victory, suggests that all peoples still alive on earth will be changed at the twinkling of an eye that Paul taught in 1 Cor.15. It's simply pointing to the world to come not being one of man in a flesh type body, but instead in a "spiritual body", that for all peoples.

In John 5:28-29 Jesus pointed to this, because He showed 'all' in the graves will hear His voice and resurrect on the day of coming, including the wicked. It's foolishness to think in the world to come there will be one group in resurrection bodies in Christ, another group in resurrection bodies that are wicked, and still yet another group of unsaved that are still in flesh bodies. That is nothing but chaos.

In 2 Cor.5, Paul taught that we each already have a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Where is it? It is inside our flesh body, connected to soul, and then both of those things are connected to our flesh body via a "silver cord". This was explained in Ecclesiastes 12:5-7, so I don't get why many brethren don't understand this. Lord Jesus said in Matthew 10:28 to not fear those who can kill our flesh, but not our soul, but to fear Him Who can destroy both body (spirit body) and soul in the lake of fire.

Simply, many brethren do not understand this in God's Word because the Churches are too busy with other things, so Christ's sheep aren't getting the feeding they should have. When Jesus returns, and if we are still alive on this earth then, the change at the "twinkling of an eye" will mean our flesh will simply be cast off at an instant, as fast as one can blink. And then will be revealed your spirit body you always had that was inside your flesh, and which with the 'asleep' saints that have already died, that is what went back to God when their flesh died. They are with Him already.

That is called a logical deduction. If Satan is bound it is implied that all his demons are also bound.

We may logically deduce that. I'm just not sure how well it's spelled out. I was wondering if any such language exists. I stick to the word of God literally and like glue.

He shall be King over all the earth during the Great Tribulation WHEN He defeats His foes.
Jesus will come back at the end of the Great Trib. During the Great Trib will be the time that the Antichrist will be ruling and reigning with the mark. Jesus will rule and reign during the 1,000 years that ensue afterwards.
