Asking if Jesus is lawless is not a good question. Questions like that should not be entertained by you or anyone else who calls Jesus Lord.

As a futurist, I believe this is talking about the physical 3rd temple that will be rebuilt in Jerusalem in the future. He will convince the Jewish people who have not yet accepted Christ that he is their Messiah and this will anger God so much that He will act again like He did in the OT.

    Is God evil?

Have you yourself watched all of the videos you've posted here??

    Yes. Jesus is that temple.

Jesus is God. He does not exalt Himself against God. God is a above all false gods and idols. No. Only to God's laws, as are we.

    What question would that be?

Hi Naomi25. I know you're in a different eschatological camp and so we're probably going to disagree a bit. Here are a few of my thoughts. I'll get back later. They do seem to have similar content yeah. I think the fact that this persecution is so prevalent can be interpreted as evidence...

Great falling away (is this happening now?)

This is true. Christianity is still springing up all over the place, like the fountain of living water it is, we just don't see all those won for Christ reported by the media. Yeah, I sort of think we're dead set in this direction right now, and it's only going to pick up steam.

Great falling away (is this happening now?)

Adherence to Christianity is declining in many first world countries today. Christian persecution by sword is increasing elsewhere. It has become increasingly fashionable to hold Christianity in derision on this great mecca known as the internet. Counterfeit pharmakeia-addled spirituality...

    Parables

Ya Core, I want to engage in discussion, but I dont have time to watch all of those videos. I have a backlog of stuff to watch and do already. Why not make a thread featuring maybe one succinct video and then pose your questions and impressions on it? That would be a better way of inviting...

Is our occupation here related to our occupation hereafter?

Wide open question. I think it's possible that it is in a way related. Which is why we are to work at the job we are given as though we were serving the Lord.

Is having Faith in the gospel considered a "work"?

Okay, here's the thing. Christ said this is something we must do in order to be saved. We must believe in Him. If we don't, then we do not know God and we have not attained the promise of eternal life. John 6:28-29 Is this still works based now salvation and heresy?

The Flawed Reasoning Of Total Depravity

Too easy... X___x I personally prefer strong willed women. A partner capable of challenging me. I don't just want to babysit a spouse (even if she does happen to be attractive)

Is having Faith in the gospel considered a "work"?

Then would you consider this work to be works based salvation?
  16. friend of

The Flawed Reasoning Of Total Depravity

How is this then compatible with free will?

Is having Faith in the gospel considered a "work"?

So then you do not believe that our decision to believe on Christ is to be considered a work on our part, correct?

The Flawed Reasoning Of Total Depravity

However, He's not going to forcibly do this against the will of those who are obstinate, otherwise Israel wouldn't have rebelled 100000x in the OT. You may choose this or free will; you cant have both. I'll admit that string of verses does appear to support your doctrine. Why did Paul...
