This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

God didn't give them for Jesus to do. The text explicitly says "upon thy people and upon thy holy city to:" Christ laid the foundation for Israel to accomplish that but in reality, there is still sin, transgressions and iniquity happening even within the church. Israel is to "bring in"...

It has been the HS who has revealed these things to me and they align w/ the whole of prophecy. it would be revealed to others if they prayed for understanding instead of dismissal because it's something you haven't heard before. In these latter days scripture promises that our knowledge of...

The 70th will still come, nothing declares they have to be consecutive as the break of 7 weeks, 62 weeks and 1 week shows. There is a reason why the last week is all by itself and in the linear reading it is an unknown amount of time "after" 70ad. Dan. 9:24 is for Israel to fulfill but Christ...

Sorry, my bad, it was vs. 3 but you knew that already.

    One can't ignore 2 Thess. 2:2, it's a major one.

Matt. 24:10-13, Heb. 3:12, 6:4-6, Rev. 12:11 implies some won't be willing to lay down there lives and the warning of the great apostasy of 2 Thess. 2:2.

He died and was entombed just before sunset on the last day of the 69th week. Sunset began the first day of the 70th week which was a sabbath, thus the need for him to get buried quickly. The 70th week never began.

The use of 'symbolic imagery" is very limited, even that phrase makes it sound like a fictional fantasy. Why must one try to categorize it as anything other the fulfilled prophecy or unfulfilled prophecy. Is there an "imagery" that you don't understand?

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

It's not about works, it's about faith. Our little part, as in the words of a song, "I'll say yes, Lord yes, to your will and to your way." That is our part. Salvation is a gift but God doesn't force it on anyone and like any gift, it can be returned or left unopened. A person could say...

Calvinism gets it wrong and way over exaggerates the miniscule part we are involved. Hearing, listening, believing, accepting all that is just one single little thought. It sure isn't anything to boast about.

If it's real, it's not "literature". It's either history or prophecy. I don't think God is pleased w/ the way His word is being considered. Revelation is "falsely" categorized as apocalyptic literature.

Okay show me something that you think is apocalyptic literature, that was literally fulfilled as described.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Can a believer "lose" their free gift of salvation? No, however they can give it back! Christ tells us in Matt. 7:21-23 before he says "I never knew you", "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done...

It's not the same as pretrib and I know what post trib is but, imo, neither of those are correct for a variety of reasons. The main one is that the 70th week doesn't end w/ Armageddon, there will still be 45-75 days left and I'm not talking about the 1290 or 1335 day prophecies.

If you read the OP again you can see how and why they do that. The scripture doesn't say "place" in Dan.9:24.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

The "trib", as a 7 yr. event is a man made concept that the bible doesn't actually talk about. What we do have is the 70th week. Because of the unfortunate handle whenever the phrase "post-trib is used, folks automatically think post 70th week. That's why I call myself post-persecution because...

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

They are two different anointings. Christ's anointing was a consecration for service. The anointing prophesied in Dan. 9:24 will be an anointing w/ oil as King and Messiah of Israel, just as was done w/ Saul, David and other kings. Dan. 9:24 specifically states that the goals given were for...

Sounds to me like you're trying to make connections where there aren't any. In 70ad, Jerusalem wasn't a holy place and since the veil was torn there wasn't a holy place in the temple any more. I put in the context it's written and you take it out of the context, I don't know why. Daniel didn't...

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

I didn't decide anything, but I know the bible says the things of Dan. 9:24 weren't for Messiah to accomplish at all, they were for Israel to do. Christ laid the foundation for this prophecy but it remains unfulfilled until after Armageddon.
