Regarding "predestination": Since John's Gospel says, "In the beginning was the Word..." and "... you have been with Me from the beginning", did John intend to allude to the idea that we were "with Him", in some sense, "before the world was founded"?

God is love--and all who humbly admit their condition (enslavement to sin that results in them embarrassing themselves), and accept God's solution (Christ), can be set free from their embarrassing enslavement, and the torment, and become children of God. Look at how God loves us!

UPDATE: I learned that Annas appears to have been the former high priest, so, while I still think the John 18 passage on Annas and Caiaphas alludes to doctrine pertinent to the topic at hand, what I said will have to be fixed a little then shared again later (God willing).
