Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I follow Christ. Have, and will continue too. Nothing changes that.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

You are not merely rude: you are ABUSIVE and want me to follow you in that sinful behavior. No. I love the scriptures, including 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 and Jude 1:3, and hence cannot follow you because I follow Christ already, as do my many brothern in lots of denominations. I will continue to...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Being VERY polite here: I listen to God Himself, directly. Not through a sinful human. We are all sinful humans but.. suffice it to say I am thoroughly convinced you're not here as a messenger of God. The way you downright fear me, continually abuse me, and scorn the facts of what I believe...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Ok, I'll do as you say: abandon Christ, quit loving the scriptures, quit loving Him, and mock the two great commandments. (The above is dripping sarcasm, in case you couldn't tell)

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Yep, evil me, accepting Jesus Christ with every ounce of my being, loving my scriptures, delving deep into Romans this week, listening to Him, loving Him above all else, loving others as myself. Evil evil me.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

*rolls eyes* There's only one Jesus: the one and only Son of God, whom was born of a virgin, lived a perfect live, suffered for our sins, died, and rose again. He is my Lord and Savior, the center of my world whom I strive to follow in word, deed, taught, and every breath I take. As do all...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Amen and *hugs* for a brother.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I am not an emeny of Christ, rather His disciple. Along with the many other Christians of many other denominations here. Maybe one day you'll see that. Until then.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Here: justbyfaith, you can twist scripture all day long to justify your ABUSE of other people all you want. Justifications what abusers do. But don't expect others to look for you to be a subsheapard or yield to your words. Rather, Christ told His disciples fo pray for their enemies and those...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

A person acting in a manner contrary to Christ's example doesn't have Christ's light shining through them and is testifying contrary to Christ. Most abusers say that. They claim that everything they do is out of love and go for the other person. Actions and results testify otherwise. That's...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Perverting scripture to justify abuse and hatred. It's not of Christ.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Important here: Christ (the ultimate Shepard, whom we show strive to imitate) never kill or attacked anyone. When Peter did so in Christ's defense, Christ instead healed his attacker. Follow Christ's example.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

This sounds like just another twisted way to justify your continual abuse of other people. Yea, nothing has changed. And continual abuse of not just me, but many others out there.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Ah, a typo my bad. Both the previous poster and I were referring to Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." @justbyfaith , the Sheapard uses love and kindness...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Christ is the Shepard, not any of us. And Christ does not use hostility to beckon His sheep towards Him, but rather kindness and gentleness. We sheep should likewise try to imitate His kindness and gentleness-- that is Christ-like love. It can be interpreted as thus very easily and many do.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I would very much like to see changes for the good in @justbyfaith and every other person on here (including myself). I do understand folks being skeptical though, until they bear witness of good fruit indicating that goodly change in a person.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Actually, many other Christians believe that a newborn baby's soul has existed for more than 9 months and read Joshua 1:5 literally. It's not remotely an LDS Christian only thing.

    Witnessing to JWs

Honestly, I find that book to be one of the most.. counter productive (to say politely) to reaching people who believe differently than you. If you really want to each someone, put own the book of someone else telling you what "Bob" believes, and instead just get to know Bob-- serving and loving...

The Mystery of the Triune God

My "walking away" comment was addressed specifically to a certain poster, not the thread/OP here.

The Mystery of the Triune God

Surrender your own ego and own life, and come unto Christ. Learn to love God and your fellow man and actually see them all. Stop thinking egotistically of yourself as the person who's supposed to be teaching these others that mare more wicked than you. Instead, get on your knees and serve...
