Actually always. This is literally a matter of definition. The Trinity directly states that the Father and Son are two different persons. Modalism believes that they are one person in two different modes.

Rather, it is two divine person ins ONE God. That, plus the Holy Spirit, is most people's belief in the Trinity or Godhead. To believe that the Father and the Son are the same person is to believe in modalism.

My belief: no. Truth comes from God via revelation, not from a council. The events of Acts 15 were led by an Apostle/Prophet of God to guide revelation, very different than the post-Biblical counsels.

Or rather, it's simply having a different view of things. A view may be wrong or right, but no one's is saved by their ability to pass a theology test.

Could this not be said of you? You're here with an agenda: to spread what you believe to be truth and what others to be error. You congratulate yourself for it. You don't have actual concern for a person, just your agenda.

In case it wasn't already obvious: I read scripture and they LOUDLY testify against Calvinism. So referring me to scripture to understand your Calvinist view doesn't work. My spending so much time and energy reaching out to you was to understand your view (rather than just dismissing). And...

I would like to think that people actually have thought about their beliefs. Sometimes however, that is not the case. And I'm just done now.
