Man has a part in his salvation=things to do, believe and say.

I do care about the Lord. Which is why I study scripture, pray, and try my best to live a Christian life. But that's not while I'm on this forum. I'm on this forum to fellowship and learn more about what other people believe. Hence my asking you about your beliefs.

So... you're saying I shouldn't care about what you believe at all?

I was/am trying to understand what/why it is you believe what you do. That is my purpose being on here.

I would prefer if you explained your beliefs and actually spoke with me. I am after all, on here, and asking questions about your beliefs because I want to know about your beliefs. I can read scripture without being on this forum (and be much more efficient about it).

    The Five Points of Calvinism

. So.... when was the last time you visited any of those churches and studied their theology for more than a drop-by?

It feels like you are hiding behind scripture rather than actually engaging in conversation with me. It is very frustrating.

    The Five Points of Calvinism

And when was the last time you attended each one of the above churches?

Yes, they need to repent. But did God testify to them? Was there ever that chance for him to repent?

I'm not sure if you're answering yes or no to my question: So the person who did NOT come to Christ: did God speak to his guilt-stricken human conscience? (Apologies if my brain is not working correctly)

And God... did what? Did He testify to them?

    The Five Points of Calvinism

I hear you say this, but I am admittedly very skeptical of what I am hearing. When was the last time you attended a Catholic church and thoroughly studied Catholicism? When was the last time you attended a Methodist church and thoroughly studied Methodistism? When was the last time you...

Again, no one is arguing with John 6:44 about people whom come to Christ. The discussion is based upon what happened to those that did NOT come to Christ. The verse did not say didn't come to Christ because God didn't testify to them. why do you think a person did NOT come to Christ?

Man has a part in his salvation=things to do, believe and say.

No one is arguing with John 6:44. The fundamental difference between Calvinist and other view points is the underlined part here: Non-Calvinist: all men whom come to Christ is because God drew them into there. Those that don't come to the Father are because they choose to reject God's...

I don't doubt that at all, even while passionately disagreeing with Calvinism. LC627, who do you believe is responsible if a person goes to Heaven? Now, who do you believe is responsible if a person goes to Hell?

    The Five Points of Calvinism

Why? And do you likewise earnestly study every other Christian "ism" that you passionately disagree with to discuss it intelligibly with them?

    The Five Points of Calvinism

You don't have to be a Calvinist or OSAS to ask God about your salvation or read/believe John's First Epistle.

    The Five Points of Calvinism

I do not believe in Calvinism or OSAS. Rather, I believe that God loves all men and invites all men to come unto Him. Each person has the choice to accept or reject His gift. This coming to Christ is not a once-and-done thing, but a lifelong+ journey of ever becoming more like Him.

Little unsure what you're going for here, but it's okay if you don't have an answer to my question/thoughts. I was just expressing them, and totally acknowledge if you this isn't a question/thought you've had. Again, I apologize for any bad behavior earlier.

    The Five Points of Calvinism

Sure. Note: I am NOT a Calvinist. In fact, there is not a single theology (Christian or non) that I am more opposed to. My answer: the idea of total depravity is anti-Biblical before and after Christ's coming.
