    Flat Earth Theory

I don’t know Peter. I don’t keep up with flat earth theory too much. I’m more interested in understanding why people care what the shape of the earth is.

Who goes back with Jesus in the pre-tribulation rapture?

The bride becomes ready when the old husband dies and she's free to marry another. See Romans 7:1–4. A new man is formed in a believer at the new birth — and Jesus will not commit adultery to produce him. The old husband has to die first.

Liquids don't seek level. They lack rigidity. They take the shape of the force acting on them. I don’t even remember why we’re discussing this now lol.

    Flat Earth Theory

You said the earth is a circle and yet has four corners. Those can't both be literal — a circle has no corners. So one is a figure of speech. Which one? And whichever you pick, what's the rule that tells you the other isn't also figurative? I ask because in thirty years of studying this book...

Who goes back with Jesus in the pre-tribulation rapture?

Believers are already married to Jesus right now and should be eating at the marriage supper of the Lamb right now.

    Flat Earth Theory

I agree with you on this too. One issue have with flat earthers is the so called biblical evidence that proves the earth is flat they claim. I haven’t seen any biblical evidence that proves flat or globe. And I’ll say once again, I’m not flat earth or globe earth, I have no idea what we live on...

I know why they do what they do, it’s external force working on them. My point is water is not always level.

    Flat Earth Theory

Yes I agree with you on that. That’s the problem with most “evidence” we’re exposed to, it’s not first hand experience.

    Flat Earth Theory

"Water seeks its own level" — except it doesn't. It climbs up a paper towel. It curves at the rim of a glass. And twice a day the entire ocean rises and falls, 40 feet in some places, because the moon is pulling on it. So water doesn't just lie flat. It responds to whatever force is acting on...

How do you know the earth is a level plane? All we can go on is what other people tell us, we can’t verify it for ourselves.

    Flat Earth Theory

I’m not a believer of flat earth or globe, I have no idea what it is. I’m open to seeing where God’s word proves it.

MOTB by itself does not always = LOF ??

In your opinion it hasn’t sounded. Surely you can see it’s not a literal trumpet.

    Flat Earth Theory

There is no rational discussion about flat earth. It’s a pointless argument that no one can prove one way or the other.

Do you think God’s going to allow you into heaven before you’re judged? Do you think people are going to hell without first being judged?

MOTB by itself does not always = LOF ??

I asked for verses supporting one specific claim: that those awakened to everlasting life ascended with Christ to heaven as living souls rather than being resurrected. You have given me 1 Corinthians 2 on spiritual discernment, Hebrews 12 on the heavenly assembly, Luke 17 on where the kingdom...

MOTB by itself does not always = LOF ??

Matthew 21:43 — "the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof." You cannot take from a man what he never had. The Jews had it before Christ's death, which contradicts your claim that no man had access prior to His coming. And it breaks the...

MOTB by itself does not always = LOF ??

You are taking "the hour is coming, and now is" as one thing. It is two. "And now is" — present, already underway as he spoke. "The hour is coming" — future from the moment he said it, and we are not left guessing when that hour was. It was when Jesus speaks his words to those in the grave...

MOTB by itself does not always = LOF ??

"The hour that now is" refers to present conversion, you say. But the same word — "dead" — describes both groups, and the text never signals a change of sense. @ewq1938 recognized this as well and gave a sound, logically consistent argument for literal death. The text supports my view and his...
